Effect of radiative loss mechanisms on FIR thermometric parameters of Nd^(3+)-doped lithium tellurite glasses

Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glasses are promising materials for thermometers based on the fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR)***,at high Nd^(3+)concentrations,energy transfer(ET)processes such as optical reabsorption and cross-relaxation can affect the Nd^(3+)emission,which has been little explored in the ***,the present work investigated the use of Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glass(samples doped with Nd^(3+)at 0.2 mol%,0.5 mol%,2.0 mol%,and 4.0 mol%)in fluorescence thermometers,in the temperature range from 299 to 371 *** results indicate a strong dependence of the FIR parameters on the Nd^(3+)concentration,due to changes in the emission band profiles caused by optical reabsorption of the Nd^(3+)emissions and cross-relaxation processes.A decrease of the relative sensitivity of the ratio^(4)F_(5/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)/^(4)F_(3/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)is observed for samples doped with higher amounts of Nd^(3+).The maximum relative sensitivity at 299 K is 3.00%/K,which is the highest value among the reported Nd^(3+)ions.

The addition of electrons to form gas-phase multiply charged anions(MCAs)normally requires sophisticated experiments or *** this work,the factors stabilizing the MCAs,the maximum electron uptake of gas-phase molecules,X,and the electronic stability of MCAs X^(Q-),are *** drawbacks encountered when applying computational and/or conceptual density functional theory(DFT)to MCAs are *** develop and test a different model based on the valence-state *** in DFT,the electronic energy,E(N,v_(ex)),is a continuous function of the average electron number,N,and the external potential,v_(ex),of the *** valence-state-parabola is a second-order polynomial that allows extending E(N,v_(ex))to dianions and higher *** model expresses the maximum electron acceptance,Q_(max),and the higher electron affinities,A_Q,as simple functions of the firstelectron affinity,A_1,and the ionization energy,I,of the"ancestor"***,the maximum electron acceptance is Q_(max,calc)=1+12A_1/7(I-A_1).The ground-state parabola model of the conceptual DFT yields approximately half of this value,and it is termed Q_(max,GS)=?+A_1/(I-A_1).A large variety of molecules are evaluated including fullerenes,metal clusters,super-pnictogens,super-halogens(OF_3),super-alkali species(Oli_3),and neutral or charged transition-metal complexes,AB_(m )l_n^(0/+/-).The calculated second electron affinity A_(2,calc)=A_1-(7/12)(I-A_1)is linearly correlated to the literature references A_(2,lit) with a correlation coefficient R=0.998.A_2 or A_3 values are predicted for further 24 *** appearance sizes,n_(ap)^(3-),of triply charged anionic clusters and fullerenes are calculated in agreement with the literature.

Since its discovery, superfluidity [1,2] remains one of the most remarkable phenomena in quantum physics. The onset of the quantum regime in liquid helium is visually striking, when the fluid flows without dissipation or detaches from a rotating bucket, remaining still upon soft rotations. The same phenomenon is present in the context of ultracold bosonic quantum gases where, most of the time, superfluidity walks hand-in-hand with the transition to Bose−Einstein condensation [3].

Data fusion has shown potential to improve the accuracy of land cover mapping,and selection of the optimal fusion technique remains a *** study investigated the performance of fusing Sentinel-1(S-1)and Sentinel-2(S-2)data,using layer-stacking method at the pixel level and Dempster-Shafer(D-S)theory-based approach at the decision level,for mapping six land cover classes in Thu Dau Mot City,*** the pixel level,S-1 and S-2 bands and their extracted textures and indices were stacked into the different single-sensor and multi-sensor datasets(*** datasets).The datasets were categorized into two *** group included the datasets containing only spectral and backscattering bands,and the other group included the datasets consisting of these bands and their extracted *** random forest(RF)classifier was then applied to the datasets within each *** the decision level,the RF classification outputs of the single-sensor datasets within each group were fused together based on D-S ***,the accuracy of the mapping results at both levels within each group was *** results showed that fusion at the decision level provided the best mapping accuracy compared to the results from other products within each *** highest overall accuracy(OA)and Kappa coefficient of the map using D-S theory were 92.67%and 0.91,*** decision-level fusion helped increase the OA of the map by 0.75%to 2.07%compared to that of corresponding S-2 products in the ***,the data fusion at the pixel level delivered the mapping results,which yielded an OA of 4.88%to 6.58%lower than that of corresponding S-2 products in the groups.

Based on the long wave limit method,the general form of the second-order and third-order rogue wave solutions to the focusing nonlinear Schr?dinger equation are given by introducing some arbitrary *** interaction solutions between the first-order rogue wave and one-breather wave are constructed by taking a long wave limit on the two-breather *** applying the same method to the three-breather solutions,two types of interaction solutions are obtained,namely the first-order rogue wave and two breather waves,the second-order rogue wave and one-breather wave,*** influence of the parameters related to the phase on the interaction phenomena is graphically *** occur among the rogue waves and breather *** the collisions,the shape of them remains *** abundant interaction phenomena in this paper will contribute to a better understanding of the propagation and control of nonlinear waves.

The dynamic spalling characteristics of rock are important for stability analysis in rock *** paper presented an experimental investigation on the dynamic spalling characteristics of granite with different temperatures and strain rates.A series of dynamic spalling tests with different impact velocities were conducted on thermally treated granite at different *** dynamic spalling strengths of granite with different temperatures and strain rates were determined.A model was proposed to correlate the dynamic spalling strength of granite,high temperature and strain *** results show that the spalling strength of granite decreases with increasing ***,the spalling strength of granite with a higher strain rate is larger than that with a lower strain *** proposed model can describe the relationship among dynamic spalling strength of granite,high temperature and strain rate.
