Peptidoglycan recognition protein(PGRP)plays a vital role in invertebrate innate immunity system as a specific pattern recognition receptor for *** possess various PGRP systems for self-defense;however,it has not been characterized in razor clam Sinonovacula *** this study,eight PGRP coding sequences were identified and analyzed from *** genome,which are designated as ScPGRP-S1,ScPGRP-S2,ScPGRP-S3,ScPGRP-S4,ScPGRP-S5,ScPGRP-S6,ScPGRP-S7,*** results of molecular evolutionary analyses showed that all eight ScPGRP genes were highly conserved and exhi-bited a typical PGRP/amidase_2 domain as PGRP genes in other ***,the presence of signal peptides was predicted in ScPGRP-S2,ScPGRP-S3 and ScPRP-S6,while a transmembrane structure only existed in ***,a tertiary struc-ture analysis indicated that no disulfide bond was observed in ScPGRP-S5 and *** mRNA transcripts analysis of ScPGRPs revealed that the high expression patterns of ScPGRP-S1 and ScPGRP-S4 were found in mantle,adductor muscle and foot,while those of ScPGRP-S2,ScPGRP-S3 and ScPGRP-S6 were observed in ***,the temporal expression profiles of ScPGRPs in the hepatopancreas were analyzed by qPCRlogy-and-microbiology/real-time-polymerase-chain-reaction>after Gram-negative Vibrio parahaemolyticus and Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus *** mRNA expressions of ScPGRP-S2,ScPGRP-S3 and ScPGRP-S6 could be induced by ***-rahaemolyticus and ***,our findings indicated that ScPGRPs were involved in the immune defense against invaders,which constituted a comprehensive understanding of the potential role of PGRP genes in ***.

Preparation and Characterization of pH-Responsive Charge Reversal Nanocomposite for miRNA Delivery

pH-responsive charge reversal loaded miRNA nanocomposite was prepared by electrostatic *** morphology,particle size and zeta potential of the nanocomposites were analyzed by transmission electron microscopy and dynamic light *** synthesis of the polymer was analyzed by^(1)*** zeta-potential changes and cellular uptake effects of the nanocomplexes under different pH environments were *** experimental results show that the surface morphology of the nanocomposite is spherical,and the average particle size is about 135 *** the pH value of the solution gradually decreases,the surface charge of the nanocomposite reverses from negative charge to positive charge(from-9.4 to+17.1 mV).Cellular uptake mediated by pH-responsive nanocomposite is selective for tumor cells,and the cellular uptake effect in tumor cells at pH 6.5 was approximately 3 times higher than that at pH *** pH responsive charge reversal nanocomposite has promising application prospects for gene delivery in the weak acid environment of tumors.

Multi-scale cross-domain alignment for person image generation

Person image generation aims to generate images that maintain the original human appearance in different target *** works have revealed that the critical element in achieving this task is the alignment of appearance domain and pose *** alignment methods,such as appearance flow warping,correspondence learning and cross attention,often encounter challenges when it comes to producing fine texture *** approaches suffer from limitations in accurately estimating appearance flows due to the lack of global receptive ***,they can only perform cross-domain alignment on high-level feature maps with small spatial dimensions since the computational complexity increases quadratically with larger feature *** this article,the significance of multi-scale alignment,in both low-level and high-level domains,for ensuring reliable cross-domain alignment of appearance and pose is *** this end,a novel and effective method,named Multi-scale Crossdomain Alignment(MCA)is ***,MCA adopts global context aggregation transformer to model multi-scale interaction between pose and appearance inputs,which employs pair-wise window-based cross ***,leveraging the integrated global source information for each target position,MCA applies flexible flow prediction head and point correlation to effectively conduct warping and fusing for final transformed person image *** proposed MCA achieves superior performance on two popular datasets than other methods,which verifies the effectiveness of our approach.

Synthesis of carbon nitride in potassium hydroxide molten salt for efficient uranium extraction from radioactive wastewater

Photocatalysis-assisted removal of uranium has been proven as an effective method for the elimination of radioactive pollution from *** this work,carbon nitride materials were synthesized in potassium hydroxide(KOH)molten salt and applied to photocatalytic uranyl *** materials were confirmed to possess the triazine-s-heptazine structure by NMR,XPS and UV-Vis characterization,and exhibited a wider visible light absorption than graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4)).The photocatalytic activity of the carbon nitride materials was tailored by varying the precursor mass *** carbon nitride obtained at 80%melamine as precursor(K-CN-80)exhibited the highest photocatalytic extraction ability and its photocatalytic reaction rate is 6.6 times faster than that of g-C_(3)N_(4).The influence of sacrificial agents was studied and the results showed that triethanolamine inhibited U(Ⅵ)photoreduction,but methanol can accelerate U(Ⅵ)photoreduction by consuming photogenerated *** unary KOH molten salt synthesis method has exceptional potential applications in the preparation of carbon nitrides,and the obtained products showed potential in extracting U(Ⅵ)from aqueous solutions for use in nuclear fuel industry and for U(Ⅵ)environmental pollution cleanup.

Cu-substituted nickel hexacyanoferrate with tunable reaction potentials for superior ammonium ion storage

In this work,a variety of Cu_(x)Ni_(2-x)Fe(CN)_(6)(x=0,0.4,0.8,1.2,1.6,2)cathodes for ammonium ion batteries are prepared and their electrochemical performances are *** the introduction of copper in nickel hexacyanoferrate,the electrochemical performance varies without changing the structure of nickel *** increase of Cu content in nickel hexacyanoferrate leads to the enhancement of reaction potential and *** results suggest that the substitution of Cu for Ni has a positive effect on improving the cycling stability and rate capacity of nickel hexacyanoferrate when x in Cu_(x)Ni_(2-x)Fe(CN)_(6)is less than ***,Cu_(0.4)Ni_(1.6)Fe(CN)_(6)exhibits the best cycling per-formance(capacity retention of 97.54%at 0.3 C)and the highest rate capacity(41.4 mAh g^(-1)at 10 C)in Cu_(x)Ni_(2-x)Fe(CN)_(6).Additionally,the X-ray diffraction(XRD)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)tests also reveal that the structural evolution of Cu_(0.4)Ni_(1.6)Fe(CN)_(6)is highly reversible upon NH_(4)^(+)***,this work proposes a candidate material for ammoniumion batteries and offers a novel avenue for adjusting the operating potential of the material.

Pathological and physiological functional cross-talks ofα-synuclein and tau in the central nervous system

α-Synuclein and tau are abundant multifunctional brain proteins that are mainly expressed in the presynaptic and axonal compartments of neurons,*** works have revealed that intracellular deposition ofα-synuclein and/or tau causes many neurodegenerative disorders,including Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s *** intense investigation,the normal physiological functions and roles ofα-synuclein and tau are still unclear,owing to the fact that mice with knockout of either of these proteins do not present apparent ***,the co-occurrence ofα-synuclein and tau aggregates was found in post-mortem brains with synucleinopathies and tauopathies,some of which share similarities in clinical ***,the direct interaction ofα-synuclein with tau is considered to promote the fibrillization of each of the proteins in vitro and in *** the other hand,our recent findings have revealed thatα-synuclein and tau are cooperatively involved in brain development in a stage-dependent *** findings indicate strong cross-talk between the two proteins in physiology and *** this review,we provide a summary of the recent findings on the functional roles ofα-synuclein and tau in the physiological conditions and pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases.A deep understanding of the interplay betweenα-synuclein and tau in physiological and pathological conditions might provide novel targets for clinical diagnosis and therapeutic strategies to treat neurodegenerative diseases.

Surface-neutralization engineered NiCo-lDH/phosphate hetero-sheets toward robust oxygen evolution reaction

Developing highly active oxygen evolution reaction（OER） electrocatalysts with robust durability is essential in producing high-purity hydrogen through water electrolysis. layered double hydroxide（lDH） based catalysts have demonstrated efficient catalytic performance toward the relatively sluggish OER. By considering the promotion effect of phosphate（Pi） on proton transfer, herein, a facile phosphate acid（PA）surface-neutralization strategy is developed to in-situ construct NiCo-lDH/NiCoPi hetero-sheets toward OER catalysis. OER activity of NiColDH is significantly boosted due to the proton promotion effect and the electronic modulation effect of NiCoPi. As a result, the facilely prepared NiCo-lDH/NiCoPi catalyst displays superior OER catalytic activity with a low overpotential of 300 mV to deliver 100 mA cm-2OER and a Tafel slope of 73 mV dec-1. Furthermore, no visible activity decay is detected after a 200-h continuous OER operation. The present work,therefore, provides a promising strategy to exploit robust OER electrocatalysts for commercial water electrolysers.
