Bleeding after endoscopic papillectomy and its risk factors:A single center experience of 196 cases

Plants maintain their internal temperature under environments with fluctuating temperatures by adjusting their morphology and architecture,an adaptive process termed ***,the rhythmic patterns of plant thermomorphogenesis are governed by day-length ***,it remains elusive how thermomorphogenic rhythms are regulated by ***,we show that warm temperatures enhance the accumulation of the chaperone GIGANTEA(Gl),which thermostabilizes the DELLA protein,REPRESSOR OF ga1-3(RGA),under long days,thereby attenuating PHYTOCHROME INTERACTING FACTOR 4(PIF4)-mediated *** contrast,under short days,when Gl accumulation is reduced,RGA is readily degraded through the gibberellic acid-mediated ubiquitination-proteasome pathway,promoting thermomorphogenic *** data indicate that the GI-RGA-PIF4 signaling module enables plant thermomorphogenic responses to occur in a day-length-dependent *** propose that the Gl-mediated integration of photoperiodic and temperature information shapes thermomorphogenic rhythms,which enable plants to adapt to diel fluctuations in day length and temperature during seasonal transitions.

Velocity structure in the South Yellow Sea basin based on first-arrival tomography of wide-angle seismic data and its geological implications

The South Yellow Sea basin is filled with Mesozoic-Cenozoic continental sediments overlying pre-Palaeozoic and Mesozoic-Palaeozoic marine *** multi-channel seismic data cannot describe the velocity structure of the marine residual basin in detail,leading to the lack of a deeper understanding of the distribution and lithology owing to strong energy shielding on the top interface of marine *** this study,we present seismic tomography data from ocean bottom seismographs that describe the NEE-trending velocity distributions of the *** results indicate that strong velocity variations occur at shallow crustal *** velocity bodies show good correlation with surface geological features,and multi-layer features exist in the vertical velocity framework(depth:0–10 km).The analyses of the velocity model,gravity data,magnetic data,multichannel seismic profiles,and drilling data showed that high-velocity anomalies(>6.5 km/s)of small(thickness:1–2 km)and large(thickness:>5 km)scales were caused by igneous complexes in the multi-layer structure,which were active during the *** locations of good Mesozoic and Palaeozoic marine strata are limited to the Central Uplift and the western part of the Northern Depression along the wide-angle ocean bottom seismograph *** the Indosinian movement,a strong compression existed in the Northern Depression during the extensional phase that caused the formation of folds in the middle of the survey *** study is useful for reconstructing the regional tectonic evolution and delineating the distribution of the marine residual basin in the South Yellow Sea basin.

Perforation of the colon by invading recurrent gastrointestinal stromal tumors during sunitinib treatment

The molecular targets of sunitinib are receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs),and this drug has also been known to exert blocking effects on the activation of KIT,which is similar to the mechanism of action of imatinib. Moreover,sunitinib has an additional anti-angiogenic effect through its inhibition of the vascular endothelial growth factor receptor activation. We report here a 70-year-old patient diagnosed with a recurrent gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST),which invaded the transverse colon and led to a perforation during sunitinib treatment. A computed tomography scan and 3-dimensional reconstruction showed necrosis of the recurrent hepatic mass and perforation of the invaded transverse colon. After percutaneous drainage of the intraperitoneal abscess,antibiotic treatment and restricted diet,the condition of the patient improved. The present case is the first to report that sunitinib,which is administered to treat GIST resistant to imatinib,can cause unexpected colon perforation and subsequent peritonitis.

Drying tea flowers into a high-quality product is important to its commodity *** the present work,a combination of microwave-assisted drying and air drying(MAD-AD)was applied in the processing of fresh tea flowers and its effects on flavor quality,active nutraceutical compounds,and antioxidant capacities were *** results showed that compared to air drying and freeze drying tea flowers,the MAD-AD tea flowers had higher amounts of active compounds such as catechins,flavonol glycosides,and triterpenoid saponins,and possessed high antioxidant ***,this drying method improved the tea flowers'color and preserved a more floral *** combined method could be of interest as an industrial method for drying tea flowers with the benefit of reduced processing time,more reserved active compounds and high quality of products.
