The cingulum,connecting the orbitofrontal cortex to the medial temporal lobe,involves in diverse cognition functions including attention,memory,and *** investigate the relationship between the cingulum injury and cognitive impairment in patients with chronic mild traumatic brain injury,we evaluated the integrity between the anterior cingulum and the basal forebrain using diffusion tensor tractography in 73 patients with chronic mild traumatic brain injury(39 males,34 females,age 43.29±11.42 years)and 40 healthy controls(22 males,18 females,age 40.11±16.81 years).The patients were divided into three subgroups based on the integrity between the anterior cingulum and the basal forebrain on diffusion tensor tractography:subgroup A(n=19 patients)– both sides of the anterior cingulum were intact;subgroup B(n=36 patients)– either side of the anterior cingulum was intact;and subgroup C(18 patients)– both sides of the anterior cingulum were *** were significant differences in total memory Assessment Scale score between subgroups A and B and between subgroups A and *** were no significant differences in diffusion tensor tractography parameters(fractional anisotropy,apparent diffusion coefficient,and fiber volume)between patients and *** findings suggest that the integrity between the anterior cingulum and the basal forebrain,but not diffusion tensor tractography parameter,can be used to predict the cognitive function of patients with chronic mild traumatic brain *** study was approved by Yeungnam University hospital Institutional Review Board(approval ***-2014-01-425-010)on August 16,2017.

With the development of stable alkali metal anodes,V_(2)O_(5) is gaining traction as a cathode material due to its high theoretical capacity and the ability to intercalate Li,Na and K ***,we report a method for synthesizing structured orthorhombic V_(2)O_(5) microspheres and investigate Li intercalation/deintercalation into this *** industry adoption,the electrochemical behavior of V_(2)O_(5) as well as structural and phase transformation attributing to Li intercalation reaction must be further *** synthesized V_(2)O_(5) microspheres consisted of small primary particles that were strongly joined together and exhibited good cycle stability and rate capability,triggered by reversible volume change and rapid Li ion *** addition,the reversibility of phase transformation(a,e,d,c and xLixV_(2)O_(5))and valence state evolution(5+,4+,and 3.5+)during intercalation/de-intercalation were studied via in-situ X-ray powder diffraction and X-ray absorption near edge structure analyses.

Research on the quality of data in a structural calculation document(SCD)is lacking,although the SCD ofa bridge is used as an essential reference during the entire lifecycle of the *** Schema matching enables qualitative improvement of the stored *** study aimed to enhance the applicability of XmL Schema matching,which improves the speed and quality of information stored in bridge ***,the authors proposed a method of reducing the computing time for the schema matching of bridge *** computing speed of schema matching was increased by 13 to 1800 times by reducing the checking process of the ***,the authors developed a heuristic solution for selecting the optimal weight factors used in the matching process to maintain a high accuracy by introducing a decision *** decision tree model was built using the content elements stored in the SCD,design companies,bridge types,and weight factors as input variables,and the matching accuracy as the target *** inverse-calculation method was applied to extract the weight factors from the decision tree model for high-accuracy schema matching results.

A robust digital receiver based on a matched filter （mF） is proposed for the radio frequency identification （RFID） reader system to enhance the reliability of signal processing in the electronic product code （EPC） sensor network （ESN）. The performance of the proposed receiver is investigated by examining the anti-collision algorithm in the EPC global Class1 Generation2 protocol. The validity and usefulness are demonstrated by both computer simulations and experiments. Based on the verification results, comparing with the conventional zero crossing detector （ZCD） based receiver, the proposed receiver is very robust against strong amplitude distortions and considerable frequency deviations happening on the backscattered signal from a passive tag.

Purpose： This study is a user evaluation on the usability of the mogao Cave Panorama Digital Library （DL）, aiming to measure its effectiveness from the users＇ perspective and to propose suggestions for improvement. Design/methodology/approach： Usability tests were conducted based on a framework of evaluation criteria and a set of information seeking tasks designed for the Dunhuang cultural heritage, and interviews were conducted for soliciting in-depth opinions from participants. Findings： The results of the usability tests indicate that the DL was more efficient in supporting simple information seeking tasks than those of higher-complexity levels. Statistical tests reveal that there were correlations among dimensions of usability criteria and user effectiveness measures. moreover, interview discourses exposed specific usability issues of the DL. Research limitations： This research is based on a relatively small sample size, resulting in a limited representativeness of user diversity. A larger sample size is needed for a systematic cross group comparison. Practical implications： This study evaluated the usability of the mogao Cave Panorama DL and proposed suggestions for its improvement for better experience. The results also provide a reference to other cultural heritage DLs with panorama functions. Originality/value： This study is one of the first evaluating cultural heritage DLs from the perspective of user experience. It provides methodological references for relevant studies： the evaluation framework, the designed information seeking tasks, and the interview questions can be adopted or adapted in evaluating other visually centric DLs of cultural heritage.

This paper reports the first demonstration of super broadband infrared downshifting emission extending from1640 nm to 2200 nm with the full width at half maximum of ～ 417 nm in lanthanides(Er3+, ho3+, and Tm3+)-doped α-SiAlON ceramics upon 793 nm excitation. Using α-Si3N4ceramic as a precursor the lanthanides-dopedα-SiAlON ceramics were synthesized by the hot-press method. The lanthanides induced no significant secondary phases in the sintered α-SiAlON ceramics. Strong two-photon upconversion emission bands centered at 547,671 and 694 nm have also been observed upon 793 nm excitation. The time-resolved measurements of the upconversion emissions confirm that the efficient energy transfer among the Er3+, ho3+and Tm3+ions as well as the ground state absorption in Er3+and Tm3+are responsible for the observed spectroscopic properties.

Assessment of the kinetic–frictional model for dense granular flow

This paper aims to quantitatively assess the application of kinetic-frictional model to simulate the motion of dry granular materials in dense condition, in particular, the annular shearing in Couette configuration. The weight of frictional stress was varied to study the contribution of the frictional stress in dense granular flows. The results show that the pure kinetic-theory-based computational fluid dynamics （CFD） model （without frictional stress） over-predicts the dominant solids motion of dense granular flow while adding frictional stress [Schaeffer, D. G. （1987）. Instability in the evolution equations describing incompressible granular flow. Journal of Differential Equations, 66（1）, 19-50] with the solids pressure of [Lun, C. NTK., Savage, S. B., Jeffrey, D. J., ＆ Chepurniy, N. （1984）. Kinetic theories for granular flow： Inelastic particles in Couette flow and slightly inelastic particles in a general flow field. Journal of Fluid mechanics, 140, 223-256] in the CFD model improves the simulation to better conform available experimental results. The results also suggest that frictional stress transmission plays an important role in dense granular flow and should not be neglected in granular flow simulations. Compatible simulation results to the experimental data are seen by increasing the weight of frictional stress to a factor of 1.25-1.5. These improved simulation results suggest the current constitutive relations （kinetic-frictional model） need to be improved in order to better reflect the real dense granular flow.

A molecular imprinted polymer（mIP） was prepared with quereetin as the template and methaerylie acid（mAA） as the functional monomer. Aeetonitrile and methanol were used as the porogen with ethylene glycol dimethaerylate （EGDmA） as the erosslinker and 2,2＇-azobis （ isobutyronitrile ）（ AIBN ） as the initiator. The experimental parameters of the equilibrium isotherms were estimated via linear and nonlinear regression analyses. The linear equadon as the functions of the adsorption concentration of the single compound in its solution and the competitive adsorption of the single compound in its mixed compounds solution was then expressed, and the adsorption equilibrium data were correlated to Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models. The mixture compounds show competitive adsorption on the specific binding sites of quereetin-mIP. Furthermore, the competitive Langmnir isotherms were applied to the mixture compounds. The adsorption concentrations of quercetin, （＋）eatechin（＋C）, and （-）epieateehin（EC） on the quercetin molecular imprinted polymer were compared. The quercetin-imprinted polymer shows extraordinarily higher adsorption ability for quercetin than for the two eateehin compounds that were also assessed.
