Shaanxi is a leading province in animal husbandry(AH)in ***,the lack of provincial information on the characteristics and utilization potential of livestock manure(LM)hinders crucial management ***,we investigated the spatiotemporal distribution,availability and biogas potential of LM in Shaanxi,and examine the carbon emission reduction potential of *** has been a 1.26-fold increase in LM quantities in Shaanxi over the past 35 years,reaching 4635.6×10^(4)t by *** was mainly concentrated in northern Shaanxi and the eastern part of *** and pig manure were the primary sources of LM,with the average LM land-load of 14.57 t·ha^(−1)in *** the overall AH in Shaanxi has not exceeded the environmental capacity,the actual scales of AH in Ankang and Hanzhong have already surpassed the respective environmental capacities,posing a higher risk of N and P *** 2021,the estimated biogas energy potential of LM was 1.2×10^(11)*** 2012 to 2021,the average carbon emission reduction potential in Shaanxi was 22%,with an average potential scale of 10%.the results of this research provide valuable data and policy recommendations for promot.ng the intensive use of LM and reducing carbon emissions in Shaanxi.

Oncovirus infection is crucial in human *** oncoviruses can lead to structural variations in the human genome known as viral genomic integration,which can contribute to *** viral integration detection tools differ in their underlying algorithms pinpoint.ng different aspects or features of viral integration *** discuss about major procedures in performing viral integration *** importantly,we provide a technical update on Virus-Clip to facilitate its usage on the latest human genome builds(hg19 and hg38)and the adoption of multi-thread mode for faster initial read *** comparing the execution of Virus-Clip using single-thread and multi-thread modes of read alignment on targeted-panel sequencing data of HBV-associated hepatocellular carcinoma patients,we demonstrate the marked improvement of multi-thread mode in terms of significantly reduced execution time,while there is negligible difference in memory *** together,with the current update of Virus-Clip,it will continue support.ng the in silico detection of oncoviral integration for better understanding of various human malignancies.

Background Asthma is a significant chronic health problem worldwide. Management aims at disease control by reducing functional impairment and exacerbations and improving quality of life (QoL). We report a multi-center study to survey asthma control and QoL in four cities in the Pearl River Delta. Methods the conjoint survey involved ten hong Kong pediatric hospitals/units, two Shenzhen hospitals, two Macao hos-pitals, and two Guangzhou hospitals on asthma control (using Asthma Control test) and QoL (Pediatric Allergic Disease Quality of Life Questionnaire, PADQLQ). Acceptability of a treatment is graded as very good/good/fair/poor. Results Good asthma control was only reported in 80% subjects in hong Kong, but higher in sister cities (85–94%, Ptis, 'incense burning', and 'smoker in family' were prevalent among the four cities. Logistic regres-sion showed better control of asthma was associated with better PADQLQ (B=?0.029, P tter acceptability of bronchodilator (B=?1.488, P = 0.025), negatively with 'smoker in family' (B=?0.83, P = 0.015) and various PADQLQ domains. Conversely, worse PADQLQ was associated with allergic rhinitis severity (B=4.77, P trol of asthma (B=7.56, P traditional Chinese medicine use (B=1.7, P hodilator usage (B=1.05, P ng at home (B=3.9, P there are some clinical and cultural differences among the four southern Chinese cities within the Guangdong province. this study identifies potentially modifiable environmental and treatment factors associated with poor asthma control and QoL for health-care interventions. Having a smoker in the family is independently associated with poor asthma control and QoL.
