SO_(4)^(2-)-modified La,Y-doped ceria-zirconia with high oxygen storage capacity and its application in Pd-only three-way catalysts

As the oxygen redox ability shows great effects on the catalytic performances of ceria-zirconia based materials,many strategies have been utilized to improve the oxygen storage *** in this study,we report a simple and facile approach to prepare a SO_(4)^(2-)-modified La,Y-doped ceria-zirconia material(SO/CZLY-f)with high oxygen storage *** to the additional redox process between SO_(4)^(2-)and S^(2-),oxygen storage capacity of SO/CZLY-f(745.3μmol O_(2)/g)is about 1.6 times higher than that of La,Ydoped ceria-zirconia material without SO_(4)^(2-)***,the catalytic activities and stability of the corresponding Pd-only three-way catalyst were *** to that of Pd@CZLY-f,the operation window of CO,full conversion temperature of HC and NO over Pd@SO/CZLY-f are obviously widened and lowered,*** aging treatment at 1100℃for 4 h,the superiority of aged Pdloading composite is still maintained.

As promising anodes for sodium-ion batteries,metal sulfides ubiquitously suffer from low-rate and high-plateau issues,greatly hindering their application in ***,exemplifying carbon nanotubes(CNTs)-stringed metal sulfides superstructure(CSC)assembled by nano-dispersed SnS_(2) and CoS_(2) phases,cocktail mediation effect similar to that of high-entropy materials is initially studied in ether-based electrolyte to solve the *** high nano-dispersity of metal sulfides in CSC anode underlies the cocktail-like mediation effect,enabling the circumvention of intrinsic drawbacks of different metal *** utilizing ether-based electrolyte,the reversibility of metal sulfides is greatly improved,sustaining a long-life effectivity of cocktail-like *** such,CSC effectively overcomes low-rate flaw of SnS_(2) and highplateau demerit of CoS_(2),simultaneously realizes a high rate and a low *** half-cells,CSC delivers an ultrahigh-rate capability of 327.6 mAh g^(−1) anode at 20 A g^(−1),far outperforming those of monometallic sulfides(SnS_(2),CoS_(2))and their *** with CoS_(2) phase and SnS_(2)/CoS_(2) mixture,CSC shows remarkably lowered average charge voltage up to ca.0.62 ***-assembled CSC//Na1.5VPO4.8f0.7 full-cell shows a good rate capability(0.05~1.0 A g^(−1),120.3 mAh g^(−1) electrode at 0.05 A g^(−1))and a high average discharge voltage up to 2.57 V,comparable to full-cells with alloy-type *** analysis verifies that the cocktail-like mediation effect largely boosts the charge transfer and ionic diffusion in CSC,compared with single phase and mixed *** mechanism study reveals that alternative and complementary electrochemical processes between nano-dispersed SnS_(2) and CoS_(2) phases are responsible for the lowered charge voltage of *** electrolyte/structure-dependent cocktail-like mediation effect effectively enhances the practicability of metal sulfide anodes,which will boost the developm

The aim of this study is to present a new understanding for the selective lithium recovery from spent lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)via sulfation *** composition of roasting products and reaction behavior of impurity elements were analyzed through thermodynamic ***,the effects of sulfuric acid dosage,roasting temperature,roasting time,and impurity elements were assessed on the leaching efficiency of valuable *** methods such as X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy(SEM-EDS),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)were employed to analyze the phase transformation mechanism during roasting *** results indicate that after sulfation roasting(n(H_(2)SO_(4)):n(Li)=0.5,550℃,2 h),94%lithium can be selectively recovered by water leaching and more than 95%Ni,Co,and Mn can be leached through acid leaching without the addition of reduction *** the sulfation roasting process,the lithium in LiNi_(x)Mn_(y)Co_zO_(2)is mainly converted to Li_(2)SO_(4),while the Ni,Co and Mn are first transformed to sulfate and then converted into oxide *** addition,impurity elements such as Al and f will combine with lithium to form Lif and LiAlO_(2),which will reduce the leaching rate of *** results provide a new understanding on the mechanisms of phase conversion during sulfation roasting and reveal the influence of impurity elements for the lithium recovery from spent LIBs.

The interfacial property of carbon fiber(Cf)reinforced composites is crucial to facilitate the application of high-strength *** the electrostatic and hydrogen bond properties of diazo resin,carbon nanotubes(CNTs)and graphene oxide(GO)could be quickly grafted onto the surface of the Cf via the layer-by-layer self-assembly *** results showed that CNTs and GO were uniformly coated onto the Cf surface,and the chemical activity and roughness of the modified Cf surface were improved *** modified Cf surface can significantly augment the interaction between the epoxy resin and the ***,due to the good interfacial property,the impact performance of the composites re-inforced with the nanomaterial-modified Cf was improved *** addition,the interface properties of the composites are studied in *** method is expected to achieve rapid surface modification of carbon fiber.

Green light-emitting polyfluorenes containing 3,7-bis（4-hexylthiophen-2-yl）dibenzo[b,d]thiophene 5,5-dioxide（DHTSO）unit were *** the resulted polymers show high thermal stability with the decomposition temperatures（T_d）over 420°C and the glass transition temperatures（T_g）over 75°*** polymers exhibit the enhanced highest occupied molecular orbital（HOMO）energy levels and the depressed lowest unoccupied molecular orbital（LUMO）energy levels with the increase of DHTSO unit in *** photoluminescence（PL）spectra of the polymers show positive solvatochromism in solution with the variation of solution polarities,indicating remarkable intramolecular charge transfer（ICT）effect in the polymers containing DHTSO *** fluorescence quantum yields（（37）_（PL））are in the range of 34%-67%for Pf-DHTSOs in *** polymers possess two photon absorption（TPA）properties,and the TPA cross sections（？_2）are enhanced with increasing DHTSO unit in *** highest？_2 is 2392 GM for Pf-DHTSO15 in chloroform solution upon 740 nm *** device of Pf-DHTSO15 shows green emission with the Commission Internationale de L’.Eclairage（CIE）coordinates of（0.26,0.59）,and the maximum luminous efficiency（LE_（max））of 10.8 cd·A^（-1） with the configuration of ITO/PEDOT：PSS/EL/Cs f/*** results indicate that introducing DHTSO unit into polyfluorene backbone could be a promising molecular design strategy for TPA and effective green-light emission.

In recent years, non-fullerene acceptors(NfAs) with unfused-ring structure have received extensive attention due to their flexible combination of building blocks and relatively simple synthetic routes. In this work, three new A-D-C-D-A type unfused-ring acceptors(UfAs),named DTBTz EH-IC2f, DTBTz Me-IC2f and DTBTz Me-IC2Cl, were designed and synthesized with dithienobenzotriazole(DTBTz) as the *** modification of alkyl chain on the DTBTz unit and change of halogen atoms on the cyanoindanone end groups, the differences in optoelectronic properties of these three small molecule acceptors were investigated. The results show that changes in alkyl chain and halogen atom endow UfAs with different features, including shift in absorption, changes in energy level and molecular packing. When blended with donor PBDB-T, the organic solar cell based on DTBTz Me-IC2Cl achieves the highest device efficiency of 12.3%, while DTBTz EH-IC2f-based device obtains 11.5% efficiency and DTBTz Me-IC2f-based device obtains 12.0% efficiency. The stability tests show that all the devices obtain good efficiency retention rates. These results demonstrate that the introduction of a rigid aromatic ring DTBTz as an intermediate core not only effectively results in highly planar A-D-C-D-A small molecules, but also provides a new reference for the design and development of UfAs in OSCs.

Exploiting inexpensive and effective nickel-based catalysts that produce hydrogen from liquid organic hydrogen carriers(LOHCs)is crucial to alleviating the global energy and environmental *** this study,we report a rational strategy that can realize atomically dispersed Ni atoms anchored on vacancy-abundant boron nitride nanosheets(Ni1/h-BNNS)with high specific surface area(up to 622 m^(2)·g^(-1))and abundant hydroxyl groups for high efficient hydrogen *** dehydrogenation results show an excellent hydrogen production performance catalyzed by this Ni1/h-BNNS,as evidenced by a remarkably high H_(2) yield rate(1684.23 mol·mol_(Ni)^(-1)·h^(-1)),nearly 100%selectivity toward hydrogen and CO,and high anti-coking *** functional theory(DfT)calculations reveal that the outstanding catalytic performance of Ni1/h-BNNS primarily originates from the unique coordinated environment of atomically dispersed Ni(Ni-B_(2)O_(2))and the synergistic interaction between Ni single atoms and the h-BNNS ***,the coordinated O atoms play a decisive role in promoting the activity of Ni,and the neighboring B sites significantly decrease the energy barriers for the adsorption of key intermediates of methanol *** study offers a novel strategy for developing high-performance and stable single-atom Ni catalysts by precisely controlling single-atom sites on h-BN support for sustainable hydrogen production.

Analytic computation on the forcible thawing temperature field formed by a single heat transfer pipe with unsteady outer surface temperature

A comprehensive and systematic research on the forcible thawing temperature field formed by a single heat transfer pipe with unsteady outer surface temperature was carried out by analytic computation according to the theory of similitude. The distribution law of thawing temperature field, calculation formulas of thawing radius b, heat flux density q and average thawing temperature T were obtained. It theoretically explains that the main influential factors of thawing radius b, heat flux density q and thawing average temperature T are K,f, Lx and co（l）, but Lc affects little. finally, based on the forcible thawing project of Hulusu air shaft lining, the field data indicate that the analytical formulas of this article are comparatively accurate.
