Dissipation of S-metolachlor and butachlor in agricultural soils and responses of bacterial communities:Insights from compound-specific isotope and biomolecular analyses

The soil dissipation of the widely used herbicides S-metolachlor(SM)and butachlor(BUT)was evaluated in laboratory microcosms at two environmentally relevant doses(15 and 150μg/g)and for two agricultural soils(crop and paddy).Over 80%of SM and BUT were dissipated within 60 and 30 days,respectively,except in experiments with crop soil at 150μg/*** on compound-specific isotope analysis(CSIA)and observed dissipation,biodegradation was the main process responsible for the observed decrease of SM and BUT in the paddy *** SM,biodegradation dominated over other dissipation processes,with changes of carbon isotope ratios(Δδ13C)of up to 6.5‰after 60 days,and concomitant production of ethane sulfonic acid(eSA)and oxanilic acid(OXA)transformation *** crop soil experiments,biodegradation of SM occurred to a lesser extent than in paddy soil,and sorption was the main driver of apparent BUT *** of the 16 S rRNA gene showed that soil type and duration of herbicide exposure were the main determinants of bacterial community *** contrast,herbicide identity and spiking dose had no significant *** paddy soil experiments,a high(4:1,V/V)eSA to OXA ratio for SM was observed,and phylotypes assigned to anaerobic Clostridiales and sulfur reducers such as Desulfuromonadales and Syntrophobacterales were dominant for both *** soil microcosms,in contrast,were associated with a reverse,low(1:3,V/V)ratio of eSA to OXA for SM,and Alphaproteobacteria,Actinobacteria,and Bacillales dominated regardless of the *** results emphasize the variability in the extent and modes of SM and BUT dissipation in agricultural soils,and in associated changes in bacterial communities.

Understanding the behaviour of matter under conditions of extreme temperature,pressure,density and electromagnetic fields has profound effects on our understanding of cosmologic objects and the formation of the *** direct access to such objects,our interpretation of observed data mainly relies on theoretical ***,such models,which need to encompass nuclear physics,atomic physics and plasma physics over a huge dynamic range in the dimensions of energy and time,can only provide reliable information if we can benchmark them to experiments under well-defined laboratory *** to the plethora of effects occurring in this kind of highly excited matter,characterizing isolated dynamics or obtaining direct insight remains ***-density plasmas are turbulent and opaque for radiation below the plasma frequency and allow only near-surface insight into ionization processes with visible ***,the output of a high-harmonic seeded laser-plasma amplifier using eightfold ionized krypton as the gain medium operating at a 32.8 nm wavelength is ptychographically imaged.A complexvalued wavefront is observed in the extreme ultraviolet(XUV)beam with high *** initio spatio-temporal Maxwell–bloch simulations show excellent agreement with the experimental observations,revealing overionization of krypton in the plasma channel due to nonlinear laser-plasma interactions,successfully validating this four-dimensional multiscale *** constitutes the first experimental observation of the laser ion abundance reshaping a laserplasma *** presented approach shows the possibility of directly modelling light-plasma interactions in extreme conditions,such as those present during the early times of the universe,with direct experimental verification.

目的评估通过3TMR动态增强(DCe)检查联合以直肠内线圈(eRC)为接收线圈的T2W成像预测前列腺癌突破包膜的诊断价值。方法本研究已得到伦理审查委员会批准。108例行前列腺全切术病人术前均行3TMR直肠内线圈前列腺检查。分别获得全部病人的T2W快速自旋回波影像和动态增强3D梯度回波影像。由诊断经验不同的医师分别对影像进行解读,并对各组结果进行分析。将基于MR所得的分期结果与根治术后的病理结果进行对照。所得结果进行描述性统计计算,通过ROC曲线下面积确定结果预测前列腺癌突破包膜的发生和前列腺癌的分期。结果整体上利用文中方法预测前列腺癌突破包膜的敏感度、特异度、阳性预测值和阴性预测值分别为75%、92%、79%和91%。全部医师、经验丰富和缺乏经验的医师分期诊断的准确度分别为86%、80%和91%。结论在3T直肠内线圈MR检查中联合应用动态增强和T2WI检查前列腺,是一种适用于不同层次医师在病人治疗前预测前列腺癌突破包膜的准确分期方法。

Background and Purpose-Observations in patients with arterial aneurysms, fi bromuscular dysplasia, and spontaneous cervical artery dissection (sCAD) indicat e that protease inhibitor deficiency might boost the enzymatic destruction of ar terial tissue and increase the risk of these arterial wall diseases. Here we pre sent the first large investigation of the protease inhibitor hypothesis in patie nts with sCAD. Methods -eighty patients with sCAD were compared with 80 age- and sex-matched healthy individuals, α 1-antitrypsin (α 1)and α 2-macro globulin (α 2-MG) levels, and α 1-AT genotypes were assessed and compared between groups. Results -α 1-AT and a2-MG levels as well as α 1 genotype s did not differ significantly between patients and controls. The frequency of Z alleles in the patient group was higher than in the control group and than in o ther cohorts from europe; however, the difference remained nonsignificant. All p atients with Z alleles had internal carotid artery dissections. Conclusions -O verall, this data does not support the hypothesis that protease inhibitor levels or α 1 genotypes play an important role in the etiology of sCAD. The present d ata does not exclude that the Pi-Z allele might have an influence on subgroups of sCAD, such as internal carotid artery dissections.
