Skeleton diversity is an important feature of compound libraries and plays a key role in the success of biological ***-controlled divergent synthesis can transform the same substrate into different molecular skeletons, which not only can endow compound libraries with diverse biological activities but also reveal new catalytic modes, and therefore has received extensive attention. Herein, we disclose a Ni-catalyzed, ligand-controlled switchable skeletal rearrangement reaction of acryloyl o-bromobenzamides and activated alkenes. In this protocol, modification of the ligand backbone allows the conversion of the same starting material into four structurally distinct scaffolds of pharmacological importance. Specifically, the use of terpyridine ligand favors the 6-exo cyclization and subsequent 1,2-acyl/Ni dyotropic rearrangement to generate highly functionalized cyclohexenols, while the sterically hinderediPrPDI ligand facilitates the 6-exo cyclization and subsequent 1,2-aryl/Ni dyotropic rearrangement to form highly functionalized cycloheptenols. Furthermore, isoquinoline-1,3-diones were obtained through alkene diarylation in the absence of additional activated alkenes. More strikingly, the bidentate ligand promotes nucleophilic addition of the aryl halides to the amide carbonyl, followed by 1,4-acyl transfer and cross-coupling to afford 2-benzazepin-5-ones.

在高浓度DMQA掺杂于Alq3作为发射层的器件中直接观察到了超线性的发射增强现象。当DMQA的浓度在1.6% -5.6%之间时,电流密度大于300 mA/cm^2,电致发光效率随电流密度的增大而增加。这是由于在重掺杂器件中,较多的染料有效的转移了Alq3中的激子,降低了器件中的非辐射损失,同时,三重态-三重态湮灭过程产生了新的单重态激子,贡献了额外发光的结果。当后者的贡献大于器件中的非辐射损失时,器件的发光效率将随电流的增大而上升。

“教化”作为中国传统文化中的核心理念,在现当代已经创造性地转化为一种具有东方文化特色的社会和组织治理方式,成为组织领导力的一种体现。“教化”的真正目的和作用在于调适个体、社会和组织的“心性”。从融入了马克思主义立场的“成己和成物”视角来看,中国人心性培养的内容和指向大致经历了“尽心知性—格物致知—知行合一—实事求是”这样一个历史演变过程。值得注意的是,中国人所说的“心性论”与现代西方所说的“心理学”在具体研究内容和指向上存在着本质性的差异,这主要源于中西思维方式上的差异。从认知科学的角度来看,“教化”作为一种领导力之所以能够起作用,关键在于领导者“具身性”的实践、认知和心智。

C-type lectins (CTLs) act as pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) to initiate the innate immune response in insects. A CTL with dual carbohydrate recognition domains (CRDs) (named immulectin-4 [IML-4]) was selected from the Ostrinia furnacalis transcriptome dataset for functional studies. We cloned the full-length complementary DNA of O. furnacalis IML-4 (OfIML-4). It encodes a 328-residue protein with a Glu-Pro-Asn (EPN) and Gln-Pro-Asp (QPD) motifs in 2 CRDs, respectively. OfIML-4 messenger RNA levels increased significantly upon the bacterial and fungal infection. Recombinant OfIML-4 (rIML-4) and its individual CRDs (rCRD1 and rCRD2) exhibited the binding ability to various microorganisms including Escherichia coli, Micrococcus luteus, Pichia pastoris, and Beauveria bassiana, and the cell wall components including lipopolysaccharide from E. coli, peptidoglycan from M. luteus or Bacillus subtilis, and curdlan from Alcaligenes faecalis. The binding further induced the agglutination of E. coli, M. luteus, and B. bassiana in the presence of calcium, the phagocytosis of Staphylococcus aureus by the hemocytes, in vitro encapsulation and melanization of nickel-nitrilotriacetic acid beads, and a significant increase in phenoloxidase activity of plasma. In addition, rIML-4 significantly enhanced the phagocytosis, nodulation, and resistance of O. furnacalis to B. bassiana. Taken together, our results suggest that OfIML-4 potentially works as a PRR to recognize the invading microorganisms, and functions in the innate immune response in O. furnacalis.

Catalysis, which is central to the energy and chemical industries, constitutes a dynamic process that involves multiple stages,ranging from activation and deactivation to rapid catalytic cycles. Comprehending these dynamic processes is crucial for optimizing catalytic reactions and developing innovative catalytic systems. This review centers on the integration of operando spectroscopies with transient analysis to acquire quantitative dynamic information directly from spectroscopic investigations of catalytic processes. Operando spectroscopies facilitate real-time observations of dynamic changes occurring during catalysis,while transient experiments yield insights that extend beyond steady-state kinetics by examining catalysts' responses to and recovery from dynamic conditions. This review aims to underscore the significance of integrating multiple spectroscopic techniques and transient methodologies to yield quantitative insights into catalytic processes, elucidating in real time the relationships between active structures, surface intermediates, and catalytic kinetics.

Leveraging the interplay between the metal component and the supporting material represents a cornerstone strategy for augmenting electrocatalytic efficiency,e.g.,electrocatalytic CO_(2)reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR).Herein,we employ freestanding porous carbon fibers(PCNF)as an efficacious and stable support for the uniformly distributed SnO_(2)nanoparticles(SnO_(2)PCNF),thereby capitalizing on the synergistic support effect that arises from their strong *** one hand,the interaction between the SnO_(2)nanoparticles and the carbon support optimizes the electronic configuration of the active *** interaction leads to a noteworthy shift of the d-band center toward stronger intermediate adsorption energy,consequently lowering the energy barrier associated with CO_(2)*** a result,the Sn O_(2)PCNF realizes a remarkable CO_(2)RR performance with excellent selectivity towards formate(98.1%).On the other hand,the porous carbon fibers enable the uniform and stable dispersion of SnO_(2)nanoparticles,and this superior porous structure of carbon supports can also facilitate the exposure of the SnO_(2)nanoparticles on the reaction interface to a great ***,adequate contact between active sites,reactants,and electrolytes can significantly increase the metal utilization,eventually bringing forth a remarkable7.09 A/mg mass *** work might provide a useful idea for improving the utilization rate of metals in numerous electrocatalytic reactions.

Accurate prediction of the remaining useful life(RUL) is crucial for the design and management of lithium-ion *** various machine learning models offer promising predictions,one critical but often overlooked challenge is their demand for considerable run-to-failure data for *** of such training data leads to prohibitive testing efforts as the run-to-failure tests can last for ***,we propose a semi-supervised representation learning method to enhance prediction accuracy by learning from data without RUL *** approach builds on a sophisticated deep neural network that comprises an encoder and three decoder heads to extract time-dependent representation features from short-term battery operating data regardless of the existence of RUL *** approach is validated using three datasets collected from 34 batteries operating under various conditions,encompassing over 19,900 charge and discharge *** method achieves a root mean squared error(RMSE)within 25 cycles,even when only 1/50 of the training dataset is labelled,representing a reduction of 48%compared to the conventional *** also demonstrate the method's robustness with varying numbers of labelled data and different weights assigned to the three decoder *** projection of extracted features in low space reveals that our method effectively learns degradation features from unlabelled *** approach highlights the promise of utilising semi-supervised learning to reduce the data demand for reliability monitoring of energy devices.

This paper studies the target controllability of multilayer complex networked systems,in which the nodes are highdimensional linear time invariant(LTI)dynamical systems,and the network topology is directed and *** influence of inter-layer couplings on the target controllability of multi-layer networks is *** is found that even if there exists a layer which is not target controllable,the entire multi-layer network can still be target controllable due to the inter-layer *** the multi-layer networks with general structure,a necessary and sufficient condition for target controllability is given by establishing the relationship between uncontrollable subspace and output *** the derived condition,it can be found that the system may be target controllable even if it is not state *** this basis,two corollaries are derived,which clarify the relationship between target controllability,state controllability and output *** the multi-layer networks where the inter-layer couplings are directed chains and directed stars,sufficient conditions for target controllability of networked systems are given,*** conditions are easier to verify than the classic criterion.

Black carbon(BC)aerosol can lead to adverse health effects and drive climate change;therefore,the characteristic research and identification of BC sources are essential for lowering *** this study,equivalent black carbon(eBC)measurement was performed using a seven-wavelength Aethalometer(AE33)at an urban site in a typical industrial city(Zibo)of Northern China for the first *** monitoring was performed from February 2021 to January *** mass absorption cross-section(MAC)of AE33 was optimised using the online elemental carbon(EC)data,and eBC was corrected using the *** corrected annual BC concentration was 1.72±1.18μg/m^(3).The diurnal variation of BC depicted a bimodal ***,the BC concentration on weekends was 18%lower than on *** diurnal variation and weekend effect reflect the critical contributions of traffic emission to BC *** source apportionment of BC was calculated by a constraining Aethalometer model,which restricted theÅngstrom exponent using the online potassium *** results revealed that BC was not significantly affected by biomass burning(BC_(bb))in *** relative contribution of BC_(bb)was higher in winter than in other *** daily morning peak of BC was primarily influenced by traffic sources,whereas the contribution of biomass burning increased after 17:00 in the evening *** findings suggest that it is more important to control fossil fuel sources for BC emission reduction in Zibo,while it is necessary to strengthen the control of biomass combustion sources in winter.
