We report for the first time the geochemistry of rare earth elements（REE） in the weathered crusts of I-type and calc-alkaline to high-K（shoshonitic） granitic rocks at Mamasa and Palu region, Sulawesi Island, Indonesia. The weathered crusts can be divided into horizon A（lateritic profile） and B（weathered horizon）. Quartz, albite, kaolinite, halloysite and montmorrilonite prevail in the weathered crust. Both weathered profiles show that the total REE increased from the parent rocks to the horizon B but significantly decrease toward the upper part（horizon A）. LREE are enriched toward the upper part of the profile as shown by La/YbN value. However, HREE concentrations are high in horizon B1 in Palu profile. The total REE content of the weathered crust are relatively elevated compared to the parent rocks, particularly in the lower part of horizon B in Mamasa profile and in horizon B2 in Palu profile. This suggests that REE-bearing accessory minerals may be resistant against weathering and may remain as residual phase in the weathered crusts. The normalized isocon diagram shows that the mass balance of major and REE components between each horizon in Mamasa and Palu weathering profile are different. The positive Ce anomaly in the horizon A of Mamasa profile indicated that Ce is rapidly precipitated during weathering and retain at the upper soil horizon.

The ore types of the Zhaokalong Fe-Cu deposit are divided into two categories： sulfide-type and oxide-type. The sulfide-type ore include siderite ore, galena-sphalerite ore and chalcopyrite ore, whereas the oxide-type ore include magnetite ore and hematite ore. The ore textures and structures indicate that the Zhaokalong deposit is of the sedimentary-exhalative mineralization type. Geochemical analyses show that the two ore types have a high As, Sb, Mn, Co and Ni content. The REE patterns reveal an enrichment of the LREE compared to the HREE. Isotopic analysis of siderite ore reveal that the j13CpDB ranges from -2.01 to 3.34 （%0） whereas the JISOsMow ranges from 6.96 to 18.95 （%0）. The fluid inclusion microthermometry results indicate that homogenization temperatures of fluid inclusions in quartz range from 131 to 181~C, with salinity values of 1.06 to 8.04 wt% NaCI eq. The mineralizing fluid therefore belongs to the low temperature - low salinity system, with a mineralizing solution of a CO2-Ca2＋（Na＋, K＋）-SO42- （F-, CI--H20 system. The geochemical results and fluid inclusion data provide additional evidence that the Zhaokalong deposit is a sedex-type deposit that experienced two stages of mineralization. The sulfide mineralization probably occurred first, during the sedimentary exhalative process, as exhibited by the abundance of marine materials associated with the sulfide ores, indicating a higher temperature and relatively deoxidized oceanic depositional environment. After the main exhalative stage, hydrothermal activity was superimposed to the sulfide mineralization. The later stage oxide mineralization occurred in a low temperature and relatively oxidized environment, in which magmatic fluid circulation was dominant.

AIM： To investigate the mutation of p53 immunohistochemically in non-tumorous gastric mucosa with H pylori infection before and aEer H pylori eradication therapy. METHODS： 53 subjects （36 male, 17 female, mean age ± SEM, 57.1 ± 12.1） undergoing endoscopic examination were included in this study. 42 of 53 patients were H pylori-positive, and 11 were H pylorinegative. All H pylori-positive patients had successful eradication therapy. Biopsy specimens were taken from five points of the stomach, as recommended by the updated Sydney system. Immunohistochemical studies were performed by using primary antibodies against p53 （DO-7 and PAb240）. RESULTS： p53 （DO-7 and PAb240） immunoreactivity was shown in the neck region of the gastric pits, however, quite a few cells were found to be immunopositive for p53 （PAb240）in the Hpylori-infected gastric mucosa. The proportion of patients immunopositive for p53 （PAb240） was significantly reduced 6 mo after eradication [28/42 （66.7%） to 6/42 （14.3%）] （P 〈 0.05）, while the biopsies taken from H pylori-negative patients showed no immunoreactivity for p53 （PAb240）. p53 （PAb240）-positive patients were divided into two groups by the number of positive cells detected： one with more than six positive cells per 10 gastric pits （group A, n = 12）, and the other with less than five positive cells per 10 gastric pits （group B, n = 30）. Atrophy scores in group A were significant higher than those in group B at the greater curvature of the antrum （group A： 2.00 ± 0.14 vs group B： 1.40 ± 0.15, P = 0.012）, the lesser curvature of the corpus （group A： 2.00 ± 0.21 vs group B： 1.07 ± 0.23, P = 0.017）, and the greater curvature of the corpus （group A： 1.20 ± 0.30 vs group B： 0.47 ±0.21, P = 0.031）. Group A showed significant higher intestinal metaplasia scores than group B only at the lesser curvature of the antrum （group A： 2.10 ± 0.41 vs group B： 1.12 ± 0.29, P = 0.035）. The Kyaw Soe Thu Prospect is a part of the Wabo deposit which is situated along Mogok Metamorphic Belt (MMB) in Central Myanmar. Gold bearing veins are hosted in the banded garnet-biotite gneiss, calc-silicate, marble and granitoid of the Wabo area. The granitic rocks intruded into banded garnet-biotite gneiss. The MMB was intensely deformed and it is a highly fractured metamorphic terrain in which metamorphic facies ranges from amphibolite to granulite facies. Gold mineralization at the Kyaw Soe Thu Prospect in the Wabo deposit occurred in the forms of gold-quartz veins. The quartz veins are a few centimeters in width. The color of the quartz vein at the Kyaw Soe Thu Prospect is commonly smoky and milky. The quartz vein exhibits chalcedonic, saccharoidal and granular textures. Three mineralizations were indicated. Stage I is the thin layered crustiform chalcedonic quartz. Stage II is chalcedonic quartz vein and stage III is Ankerite-quartz-sericite vein. Stage II and stage III are gold rich hydrothermal stages, and Ankerite-quartz-sericite veins were formed with a small amount of sericites in the Kyaw Soe Thu Prospect. The Ankerite-quartz-sericite veinlets range from a centimeter up to three centimeter in width within the stage II chalcedonic quartz vein. Textures of mineralized quartz vein samples were petrographically examined. The textures include a feathery texture that is most closely associated with electrum in both stage II chalcedonic quartz veins and stage III Ankerite-quartz-sericite veins. Ankerite varies in color from pink, white to buff. Among them, pink color is more common in the Kyaw Soe Thu Prospect. Ankerite in the Kyaw Soe Thu Prospect exhibits rhombohedral idiomorphic, which exhibits growth patterns. Ore minerals of the veins are electrum, pyrite, galena, and trace amount of very fine-grained chalcopyrite. On the basis of textures of the chalcedonic quartz veins, the Kyaw Soe Thu Prospect is ascribed to be a low-sulfidation epithermal deposit.

The Halo copper-molybdenum prospect is a porphyry system in Ratanakiri province, northeastern part of Cambodia. There is only one research was carried out on this prospect about geological mapping and short wave infrared (SWIR) spectroscopy on alteration mineral identification. The purpose of this research is to confirm the deposit type from previous Angkor Gold’s report and find the centre of porphyry deposit based on characteristic of intrusive rocks at surface and subsurface, characteristics of the intrusive rocks and alteration lithogeochemistry of intrusive and volcanic rocks by using Pearce Element Ratio (PER) analysis. PER analysis was used to examine the nature and extend of the alteration halos in the porphyry Halo copper-molybdenum prospect. The intrusive rocks and volcanic rocks in Halo, range from diorite to granite (quartz feldspar porphyry) in composition as well as dacite to trachyandesite (andesite porphyry) in composition, respectively. They were formed in a subduction-related tectonic setting, likely a volcanic arc. Trace elements spider diagrams were normalized to primitive mantle display strong enrichment in large-ion lithophile elements such as Rb, Ba and K and depletion in some high-field strength elements such as Nb and Ti, suggesting magmas generated in a subduction-related tectonic setting. PER analysis indicates a moderate to high degree of sericite alteration of dacites, quartz feldspar porphyries, andesite porphyries and granodiorite porphyries. Moreover, three alterations in the Halo prospect such as potassic (secondary K-feldspar and biotite), phyllic (sericite) and propylitic (epidote) alteration were identified, which are consistent with petrography analysis. The potassic alteration zone is vectoring center of the hydrothermal system which may represent the locus of mineralization. This study examines the behavior of trace- and rare-earth elements (REE) in different hydrothermal alteration facies (silicic, advanced argillic and argillic) of Cijulang high-sulfidation epithermal gold deposit, West Java, Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that remarkable differences in the behavior of trace elements and REE are observed in the studied alteration facies. All REE in the silicic facies are strongly depleted. In advanced argillic facies, Heavy rare-earth elements (HREE) are strongly depleted whereas light rare earth elements (LREE) are quite enriched. REE concentrations in the argillic facies show little or no variation with respect to fresh rock counterparts. A strong depletion of REE in the silicic facies is likely to be favored by the highly acidic nature of the hydrothermal fluids, the abundance of complexing ions such as Cl ˉ, F ˉ, and in the hydrothermal solutions and the absence of the secondary minerals that can fix the REE in their crystal structures. An apparent immobility of LREE in advanced argillic facies is possibly due to the presence of alunite. The immobility of REE in the argillic facies suggests the higher pH of the fluids, the lower water/rock ratios and the presence of the phyllosilicates minerals. -

To characterize the magma that gave rise to explosive eruptions of Merapi volcano in October-November 2010, melt inclusions and juvenile components fiom the eruption deposits have been analyzed. Major-element compositions of whole-rocks were analyzed by X-ray fluorescence and trace elements, including the Rare Earth Elements by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Melt inclusions and the host minerals were analyzed using energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and CO2 and H20 in melt inclusions, and their associated bubbles, were analyzed using laser Raman spectrometry. The compositions of the whole-rock eruption products are basaltic and esite that slightly sifting of SiO2 and K20 composition to previous eruption products, whereas the melt inclusions in pyroxene, plagioclase and hornblende are dacite to rhyolite, likely trapped mainly during late stages of crystallization of the magma. The most high volatile content in the melt inclusion are CO2 and H2O which appear strong Raman peaks for CO2 in the gas bubbles indicate abundances on high levels of CO2. Interpretation of result from a long-term flux of CO2 into the reservoir, either derived from more mafic magmas at depth or from reaction of magma in the reservoir with limestone and it may indicate that volcanic outgassing rates far exceed the amounts that can be supplied magmas.

以显微镜、X射线衍射仪和电子探针等方法,对日本岛根县石见银矿区所产英安质火山岩中的黑云母进行了详细的研究,观察到部分黑云母经受了不同程度的热液蚀变作用。根据对未蚀变、或仅受到轻微蚀变作用的黑云母所进行的40Ar-39Ar同位素年龄测定,它们主要为第四纪产物。但是,从经受强热液蚀变作用的黑云母所获得的40Ar-39Ar同位素结果表明,后期的高温热液活动可以破坏晶体中的原始K-Ar同位素平衡,使得其40Ar-39Ar同位素年龄与高于从未蚀变矿物所获得的结果,从而产生严重的年代失真。所以,对来自热液蚀变带的样品需要进行详细的矿物学研究。估计对黑云母的原始K-Ar同位素体系产生破坏的热扰动临界温度可能在200℃左右。

To provide quantitative feedback on surgical progress to ophthalmologists practicing inner limiting membrane(ILM)peeling,we developed an artificial eye module comprising a quartz crystal resonator(QCR)force sensor and a strain body that serves as a uniform force transmitter beneath a retinal *** a sufficiently large initial force must be loaded onto the QCR force sensor assembly to achieve stable contact with the strain body,the highly sensitive and wide dynamic-range property of this sensor enables the eye module to detect the slight forceps contact force.A parallel-plate strain body is used to achieve a uniform force sensitivity over the 4-mm-diameter ILM peeling *** these two components allowed for a measurable force range of 0.22 mN to 29.6 N with a sensitivity error within−11.3 to 4.2%over the ILM peeling *** this eye module,we measured the applied force during a simulation involving artificial ILM peeling by an untrained individual and compensated for the long-term drift of the obtained force data using a newly developed *** compensated force data clearly captured the characteristics of several types of motion sequences observed from video recordings of the eye bottom using an ophthalmological *** a result,we succeeded in extracting feature values that can be potentially related to trainee skill level,such as the mean and standard deviation of the pushing and peeling forces,corresponding,in the case of an untrained operator,to 122.6±95.2 and 20.4±13.2 mN,respectively.
