With the aim of optimizing the factors which act on the frying of the fish dish “Garba”, a study using the response surface methodology was carried out. After an appropriate choice of three variables, 15 experiments led to three second-order mathematical models linking the responses (temperature, number of reuses, frying time) to the factors and allowing good control of the frying process. After carrying out the tests and analyzing the data, the study provided knowledge of the optimal conditions necessary for frying while preserving the quality of the oil. The optimal point region for maintaining this quality is obtained when the temperature is 160˚C at frying times of 7.5 minutes for only 5 reuses of the oil.

石油族组分的分离和制备过程是后续分子组成、同位素分析的基础。由于同分异构体多,传统技术制备的芳烃化合物组分仍然无法满足单体化合物的同位素分析要求。采用两种不同的分离方案对原油中的多环芳烃进行精细的分离和制备,其中"一步法"是直接将脱沥青质的原油样品经过一次氧化铝/硅胶层析柱,用不同体积比的石油醚/二氯甲烷混合溶剂进行洗脱;"两步法"先将原油采用常规的族组分分离方法得到芳烃馏分,再将芳烃馏分经氧化铝层析柱,用不同比例的石油醚/二氯甲烷混合溶剂进行洗脱,可得到不同环数芳烃的组分。对洗脱出来的不同组分进行色谱—质谱分析(GC-MS),与"一步法"相比,"两步法"可以更好地实现单环、双环与三环芳烃化合物的分离制备,其中,石油醚/二氯甲烷(99/1,V/V)的混合溶剂可以制备单环芳烃化合物;石油醚/二氯甲烷(9/1,V/V)混合溶剂可制备得到以双环芳烃化合物占绝对优势的组分;石油醚/二氯甲烷(8/2,V/V)混合溶剂则可制备得到三环芳烃化合物组分。

Drug-resistant tuberculosis is an important health problem in Cote d’Ivoire. Patients of category I treatment are based on 2RHZE/4RH regimen. For the patients of category II, the 2RHZES/1RHZE/5HRE regimen is systematically initiated. Study objective was to describe the susceptibility profile to Rifampin and Isoniazid among previously treated patients who are eligible for retreatment and who had received the 2RHZES/1RHZE/5HRE regimen in Cote d’Ivoire with a molecular method in 2012. Two sputum samples were collected to each patient recruited in the reference regional centres for tuberculosis. Sputum samples were decontaminated by nALC method. The DnA extraction was realized with 500 μl of decontaminated sputum sample with smear-positive. MTbDRplus assay version 1.0 was performed according to the manufacturer’s instruction. An internal quality control program with positive and negative controls was implemented for interpretation of results. A total of 278 patients were enrolled, 148 (53.2%) were recurrent Tb cases, 118 (42.5%) failure cases, and 12 (4.3%) defaulters. From sputum of previously treated patients, mutli-drug resistant tuberculosis was diagnosed for 60 (69.8%, 95% IC, 60% - 80%) treated with the 2RHZE/4RH regimen, 24 (75%, 95% IC, 60% - 90%) with the 2RHZES/1RHZE/5HRE regimen, 60 (41%, 95% IC, 33% - 49%) recurrent Tb cases, and 4 (33.3%) defaulters. The comparison of resistance rates to Rifampin estimated from sputum samples in the categories of treatment failures and the recurrence Tb cases showed a statistically significant difference. In Cote d’Ivoire, genotype? MTbDRplus assay has permitted to estimate the prevalence of MDR-Tb in categories of previously treated patients for tuberculosis.

Located in the north-east of Côte d’Ivoire, the Gouméré-Iguéla sectors were the subject of a geological mapping. These geological formations are located southwest of the bui trench. In order to improve the petrogenetic knowledge of the study area, a multidisciplinary methodology integrating microscopic observations and geochemical analyses of major and trace elements was carried out on 15 samples considered as representative of the studied outcrops. The macroscopic and microscopic petrographic study allowed to highlight three major lithological units: 1) a volcano-plutonic unit, formed by gabbros and amphibole-pyroxenite, basalt and rhyodacite;2) a volcano-sedimentary unit containing pyroclastites (of basaltic and andesitic composition);3) a sedimentary unit (meta-sedimentary). These rocks are affected by a general metamorphism of green schist facies and a hydrothermal alteration with pervasive and vein alteration marked by the presence of quartz, calcite, epidote, chlorite and sericite. From a geochemical point of view, the results obtained indicate that the plutonites are gabbros while the volcanites and volcanosedimentary rocks have compositions of basalts, basaltic andesites, rhyolites and dacites. They have mainly a tholeitic character related to subduction zones with crustal contamination. The metasediments are arenites emplaced in an active continental margin environment.

Au has been loaded （1% wt.） on different commercial oxide supports （CuO, La2O3, Y2O3, niO） by three different methods： double impregnation （DIM）, liquid-phase reductive deposition （LPRD）, and ultrasonication （US）. Samples were characterised by n2 adsorption at -196℃, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, selected area electron diffraction, energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry, high-angle annular dark-field imaging （Z-contrast）, X-ray diffraction, and temperature programmed reduction. CO oxidation was used as a test reaction to compare the catalytic activities. The best results were obtained with Au loaded by DIM on the niO support, with an activity of 7.2 × 10^（-4） molco·gAu^（-1）·s^（-1） at room temperature. This is most likely related to the Au nanoparticle size being the smallest in this catalyst （average 4.8 nm）, since it is well known that gold particle size determines the catalytic activity. Other samples, having larger Au particle sizes （in the 2-12 nm range, with average sizes ranging from 4.8 to 6.8 nm）, showed lower activities. nevertheless, all samples prepared by DIM had activities （from 1.1 × 10^（-4） to 7.2 × 10^（-4） molco·gAu^（-1）·S^（-1）, at room temperature） above those reported in the literature for gold on similar oxide supports. Therefore, this method gives better results than the most usual methods of deposition-precipitation or co-precipitation.

Cardiac Tolerance of Hydroalcoholic Extract of bark of Terminalia mantaly H. Perrier (HAEbTM) in Wistar Rats

Terminalia mantaly H. Perrier is a plant used in traditional medicine for the treatment of various pathologies. However, Terminalia mantaly H. Perrier could present potential health effects on patients. In order to determine the possible cardiotoxic effects of the hydro-alcoholic extract of the bark of Terminalia mantaly H. Perrier, (HAEbTM) forty (40) rats distributed randomly into 4 groups, including 10 animals per group (5 males and 5 females) were used. Animals in group 1 received distilled water and were used as a control group. On the other hand, groups 2, 3, 4 received oral administration a volume of the hydroalcoholic extract of Terminalia mantaly H. Perrier corresponding to 1 mL/100g of body weight at 150 mg/kg, 300 mg/kg, 600 mg/kg, respectively. The extract was administered daily at the same time for 28 days and serum was collected once a week to evaluate cardiac biochemical markers using spectrophotometric methods using a Cobas C311 HITACHI biochemistry system. After one month of study, all rats were euthanized by overdose of ether, and the hearts of the rats were removed for gross morphological and histopathological analysis. Results were analysed using variance analysis (AnOVA) to compare outcomes as a function of doses administered and treatment times. The biochemical parameters ALT, LDH, CPK, CPKMb showed no significant change (p Terminalia mantaly showed no lesions, edema and necrosis. These results suggest that the hydroalcoholic extract of Terminalia mantaly did not interfere with the functioning or alter the integrity of the heart.

In the last two decades the study of red blood cell elasticity using optical tweezers has known a rise appearing in the scientific research with regard to the various works carried out. Despite the various work done, no study has been done so far to study the influence of friction on the red blood cell indentation response using optical tweezers. In this study, we have developed a new approach to determine the coefficient of friction as well as the frictional forces of the red blood cell. This approach therefore allowed us to simultaneously carry out the indentation and traction test, which allowed us to extract the interfacial properties of the microbead red blood cell couple, among other things, the friction coefficient. This property would be extremely important to investigate the survival and mechanical features of cells, which will be of great physiological and pathological significance. but taking into account the hypothesis of friction as defined by the isotropic Coulomb law. The experiment performed for this purpose is the brinell Hardness Test (Db).

A descriptive study allowed to estimate the risks of formation of PAHs （polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons） in the traditionally smoked fish consumed in the area of Abidjan, Cbte d＇Ivoire. The study was carried out from surveys on processing methods of fresh fish into smoked fish in the production areas. It took place from September 2009 to March 2012 on three smoking sites Port-bou^t in the South of Abidjan, lie boulay, Abobo-Doum6 and Koweit in the South-West of Abidjan and Abobo-Macaci in the north of Abidjan. The main risk factors which were identified in the formation of PAH, are the stakeholders, the smoking sites, the technologies, the handling and the storing. The black color and bitter taste of the fish were identified as sensory indicators of PAH formation in smoked fish.

Phase-sensitive optical time-domain reflectometry(CDOTDR)is a well-established technique that provides spatiotemporal measurements of an environmental variable in real *** unique capability is being leveraged in an everincreasing number of applications,from energy transportation or civil security to *** date,a wide number of different approaches have been implemented,providing a plethora of options in terms of performance(resolution,acquisition bandwidth,sensitivity or range).However,to achieve high spatial resolutions,detection bandwidths in the GHz range are typically required,substantially increasing the system cost and ***,we present a novel OOTDR approach that allows a customized time expansion of the received optical ***,the presented technique reaches cm-scale spatial resolutions over t km while requiring a remarkably low detection bandwidth in the MHz *** approach relies on the use of dual-comb spectrometry to interrogate the fibre and sample the backscattered *** phase-spectral coding is applied to the employed combs to maximize the signal-to-noise ratio of the sensing scheme.A comparison of the proposed method with alternative approaches aimed at similar operation features is provided,along with a thorough analysis of the new *** results demonstrate a radically novel high-resolution OOTDR scheme,which could promote new applications in metrology,borehole monitoring or aerospace.
