we propose a model-based separation technique for use on monaural speech mixtures where the mixed speech signals have different levels of *** most recent modelbased monaural speech separation techniques,it is assumed that the data used in the training and test phase have the same level of energy which is hardly met in the real *** overcome this limitation we apply maximum a posteriori（MAP） estimation twice,first,to estimate the gains of the sources and second,to estimate the *** proposed method is compared with a state of the art method in which maximum likelihood（ML） estimation is used to estimate the gains of the sources and then a binary mask filter is used to estimate the *** results show that our proposed method outperforms this method in terms of SNR results.

Lower hybrid (LH) wave is not only convenient to generate a flat or reversed magnetic shear profiles, but also helps one to explore scenarios for steady-state tokamak operation with improved confinement. Here with LSC code (lower hybrid simulation code), we calculate density and temperature profiles, relative power of injected wave and current wave lunch for two options of DEMO at the launched LH wave frequency 5 GHz. Two plasma scenarios pertaining to two different DEMO options, known as pulsed (option 1) and steady-state (option 2) models, have been analyzed. We perceive that power deposition by using lower hybrid wave injection mainly takes place near the edge of plasma and approximately in more peripheral region for both of options but has approximately higher efficiency for option 1 compared to option 2. About current wave lunch, a major part of that is close to the plasma edge for both of options. We have some considerable parts that reach to internal layers for option 1 and then current drive mainly takes place in a wider, more peripheral region for option 1.

“Water-Colouring” and Geomorphologic Features of the Marl Hills in Changing Quality of Soil and Water

Water scarcity has always been one of the most important obstacles in the process of agricultural development in arid and low-rainfall climates. In farming, the water quality also plays an important role;as the poor quality of water can be one of the limiting factors in this sector that in addition to the agricultural problems has also caused soil problems. In this paper, we introduce and study an indigenous method of water conservation and soil protection in the east of Iran termed as “water-colouring” and the role of geomorphologic features of marl hills in one of the rivers located in the southern slopes of the Joghtay Mountain (Kalateh-Sadat Watershed). In this study, field observation, sampling and analysis of water and sediment, physicochemical experiments, SPSS software for statistical analysis and satellite images have been used to produce digital models. Finally, the effects of muddy water and clear water have been compared in terms of chemical quality and productivity of agricultural land. The results show that the method of water-colouring is the best indigenous-economical method for moisture retention and regeneration of the agricultural land soil. Given the statistical reasons and studying the other researches in this field, water-colouring causes change texture and soil composition, fertility of agricultural land and reduce the losses due to evaporation and infiltration.

Economic valuation of water storage function of forest ecosystems (case study: Zagros Forests, Iran)

Forest ecosystem services contribute to human welfare, both directly and indirectly. Here the economic value of water conservation by Bazoft basin located in Zagros forests in western Iran was estimated, using simulation models and Geographic Information System （GIS） as a tool for analyzing the effects of ecological factors on ecosystem services. Rainfall-runoff simulation was carried out by using Curve Number （CN） method in HEC-HMS model. The model requires the inputs of land cover, soil and short term rainfall and discharge data. The efficiency of simu-lated model was revised using observed data and doing calibration stages. The role of forest on water retention and surface runoff reduction by devising four hypothetical scenarios and then the effects of land use changes associated with these scenarios on rainfall-runoff behavior of the region were determined. The results show that under the case of scenario one which assumes that the entire of basin area is covered by forests, total outflow would be in the minimum amount and rainfall initial loss will increase. Forest hydrological services related to water retention was economically assessed using Replacement Cost Method. Valuation results show that each hectare of Bazoft forests can store 84.8 m3 water with 0.5 US$/m3 annual value. So the water retention value of each hectare of these forests will be 43US$. This could have positive economic consequences for the region and would help decision-makers in selecting appropriate and economically feasible development strategies.

Copper, Zinc, and Lead Mineral Prospectivity Mapping in the North of Tafresh, Markazi Province, Central Iran, Using the AHP-OWA Method

The reason of this research is to identify the favorable areas for copper, zinc, and lead mineralization in the western part of the 1:100,000 Tafresh geological Sheet in the Urmia-Dokhtar structural zone of Iran. Effective data layers for mineralization, such as geology, geochemistry, structures, and satellite images, were analyzed and then integrated using the AHP-OWA method to identify favorable areas. Geochemical stream samples were analyzed by univariate, multivariate, and classical statistical methods and revealed the first, second, and third class anomalies for copper, zinc, and lead in the study region. Detection of hydrothermal alteration zones by Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER) satellite imagery in various algorithms, such as Relative absorption Band Depth (RBD), Minimum Noise Fraction (MNF), and Least Square Fit (LS-Fit), shows that argillic, phyllic, propylitic, and iron oxide alterations develop around the faults in the area under study. The favorable areas for copper, zinc, and lead mineralization have been identified by a combination of evidence maps of lithology, faults, dikes, geochemistry, and alteration data layers. Field observations in the area under study have confirmed the results.

A Novel Adjustable Plasmonic Filter Realization by Split Mode Ring Resonators

A novel nanoscale plasmonic filter consisting of two coupled metal-insulator-metal (MIM) waveguides is introduced. The new structure functionality is verified by numerical simulations in different configurations of the filter. The impedance variation characteristic named as split mode ring resonancy is achieved by partially narrowing or expanding the waveguide diameter. The main parameters of the filter are evaluated by using the parameters of an implemented type of ring resonator. Moreover, modal analysis for Surface Plasmon Polariton (SPP) propagation is performed while changing the main spatial parameters of the device.

The association between urban pollutants and preterm birth occurrences: a case study of Mashhad-Iran

Preterm birth and associated conditions are one of the biggest killers of children in the worldwide. In this regards, current study aimed at investigation of the relationship between air pollutants of Pm10, CO, O3, and SO2 and preterm birth occurrences recorded in Imam Reza (PUH) Hospital of Mashhad for a five-year period from 2007 to 2011. The results of quantile regression showed that the amount of atmospheric pollutants have an important role in rising preterm births. In this way, the pollutants of Pm10 and CO have revealed the strongest effect on preterm birth occurrences especially for the last three months of pregnancy. Moreover, preterm births mostly have occurred in warm seasons of spring and summer, while the seasonal average of pollutants concentration, excepting O3 pollutant, has shown rising in cold seasons of autumn and winter. However, reducing air pollution could also be effective in reducing preterm births across the world.

Effect of 8-week and 12-week triple therapy (doxycycline, rifampicin, and gentamicin) on brucellosis: A comparative study

Objective:To compare the effect of 8-week and 12-week of triple therapy (doxycycline, rifampicin, and gentamicin) on brucellosis. Methods: This parallel clinical trial was conducted on 339 brucellosis patients who were divided into 2 groups. The first group (175 patients) received doxycycline (100 mg/12 h) for 8 weeks, rifampicin (600 mg/d) for 8 weeks, and gentamicin (5 mg/kg/d) for 7 d, while in the second group (164 patients), doxycycline and rifampicin treatment were prolonged to 12 weeks, along with gentamicin therapy for 7 d. The patients were followed-up for six months after the treatment. Baseline information, clinical manifestations of the patients were collected, and serological tests for brucellosis were performed after the treatment. Results: The mean age of the patients was (45.95 ± 18.65) years, and 56.9% of the patients were male. In total, 73.5% of the patients were residents in rural areas and the majority of them were farmers and ranchers (34.6%). The 3-month relapse rates of the two groups were 11.42% and 6.70%, respectively (P=0.132). Moreover, the 6-month relapse rate of the two groups was 6.3% and 2.4%, respectively (P=0.085). In the two groups, both treatments could reduce serological titers based on Wright and 2ME tests (P<0.05). Conclusions: The efficacy of 8-weeks and 12-weeks triple therapy (doxycycline, rifampicin, and gentamicin) is similar in terms of brucellosis relapse. The 8-week triple therapy including doxycycline, rifampicin, and gentamicin can be considered as an effective approach for the treatment of brucellosis.
