Despite the proficiency of lithium(Li)-7 NMR spectroscopy in delineating the physical and chemical states of Li metal electrodes,challenges in specimen preparation and interpretation impede its *** this study,we conducted a comprehensive postmortem analysis utilizing ^(7)Li NMR,employing a stan-dard magic angle spinning probe to examine protective-layer coated Li metal electrodes and LiAg alloy electrodes against bare Li metal electrodes within Li metal batteries(LMBs).Our investigation explores the effects of sample burrs,alignment with the magnetic field,the existence of liquid electrolytes,and precycling on the ^(7)Li NMR *** contrasting NMR spectra before and after cycling,we identi-fied alterations in Li^(0) and Li^(+) signals attributable to the degradation of the Li metal *** NMR analyses decisively demonstrate the efficacy of the protective layer in mitigating dendrite and solid elec-trolyte interphase ***,we noted that Li*ions near the Li metal surface exhibit magnetic susceptibility anisotropy,revealing a novel approach to studying diamagnetic species on Li metal elec-trodes in *** study provides valuable insights and practical guidelines for characterizing distinct lithium states within LMBs.

Recently,ultra-precision polishing processes using smart materials such as magnetorheological(MR)fluids have been used for optics parts such as aspheric *** MR fluid applied in MR polishing is a phase controllable suspension comprising a mixture of CI particles and non-magnetic fluids such as mineral oil and *** fluids are a kind of smart material that can be controlled according to their flow properties such as viscosity and stiffness. Water-based MR fluids are easily oxidized if the fluids are exposed and this oxidation can bring irregular polishing results. Also,this phenomenon is one of several factors that reduce the life time of MR *** a previous work,CI particles were coated with a polymer or a composite for the improvement of dispersion stability and prevention of corrosion due to *** this study,the rheological properties such as viscosity and sedimentation of coated CI particles with silica were investigated with a rotational rheometer;MR polishing characteristics of BK7 glass were studied in order to investigate the surface *** wheel speed and magnetic field intensity were chosen as variables.

＜正＞ In this study we investigated the effect of apigenin. a plant - derived flavonoid. on melanogenesis and its mechanism of action in B16 murine melanoma cells. Apigenin at the concentrations inducing no significant alteration of cell viability, increased melanin synthesis in a dose - dependent ***, apigenin increased intracellular level of reactive oxygen species （ROS） in a dose- related fashion. Treatment with antioxidants（ascorbate and tocopherol） significantly inhibited the apigenin - induced ROS increase and melanin *** addition, apigenin reduced intracellular K+ and Cl- concentrations in a dose - dependent *** apigenin- induced K+ and Cl- efflux was significantly suppressed by either Cl-- deficient medium, or known inhibitors of K+ ,Cl-- cotransport （KCC）. calyculin - A and BaCl2. These KCC inhibitors also significantly blunted the apigenin- induced ROS generation and melanogenesis. Collectively, these results suggest that apigenin induced melanogenesis through the KCC - mediated ROS generation. These results further suggest that apigenin may be valuable for the therapeutic management of skin hypopigmentation disorders, such as vitiligo.

Comparative experiments and theoretical analysis of the surface chemistry changes of goethite(GT)and goethite containing Ni(GTN)in the lattice in the presence of salicylhydroxamic acid(SA)were *** was revealed that in the presence of 100 g·t^(-1)of SA,the flotation recovery of GTN and GT increased with increasing pH,achieving a maximum recovery of 98.9%for both minerals at p H 8.3 and decreasing beyond that pH,with GTN having a slightly higher recovery than GT,except at pH *** was further confirmed by the higher complexation energies of GTN···SA(-883.87 kJ·mol^(-1))compared with GT···SA(-604.23 kJ·mol^(-1))resulting from covalent,closed-shell,and conventional hydrogen *** higher adsorption of SA onto GTN relative to GT was due to the formation of aπ-hole in GTN,thereby promoting a higher interaction of the collector with the ***,the presence of Ni in the GT lattice improves and decreases the adsorption and desorption of SA onto and from the mineral,respectively,compared with those onto and from GT.

Recently, with the rapid growth of information technology, many studies have been performed to implement Web-based manufacturing system. Such technologies are expected to meet the need of many manufacturing industries who want to adopt E-manufacturing system for the construction of globalization, agility, and digitalization to cope with the rapid changing market requirements. In this research, a real-time Web-based machine tool and machining process monitoring system is developed as the first step for implementing E-manufacturing system. In this system, the current variations of the main spindle and feeding motors are measured using hall sensors. And the relationship between the cutting force and the spindle motor RMS (Root Mean Square) current at various spindle rotational speeds is obtained. Thermocouples are used to measure temperature variations of important heat sources of a machine tool. Also, a rule-based expert system is applied in order to decide the machining process and machine tool are in normal conditions. Finally, the effectiveness of the developed system is verified through a series of experiments.

The purpose of this study is to develop a Web-based on-machine mould identification and measurement system. The Web-based mould identification system matches obtained vision information with CAD database. Developed Web-based system is to exchange messages between a server and a client by making of ActiveX control, and the result of mould identification is shown on Web-browser at remote site. For effective feature classification and extraction, the signature method is used to make meaningful information from obtained image data. For on-machine measurement of the matched mould, inspection database is constructed from CAD database using developed inspection planning methods. The results are simulated and analyzed using developed system to verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Temperature is an important physical variable that indicates the condition of the human body and artificial *** wearable applications require the development of temperature sensors with different form *** this study,a fiber-shaped thermoelectric temperature sensor is fabricated using a continuous graphene fiber whose two halves possess different reduction states.A seamless junction is formed by partially reducing a wet-spun graphene oxide fiber with hydroiodic acid(HI)solutions of different ***-half of the fiber is mildly reduced with 0.97 wt%HI,while the other half is highly reduced with 30.6 wt%*** different reduction states of the graphene composite fiber result in different Seebeck coefficients,allowing for the fabrication of a fiber-shaped graphene thermocou-ple without any laborious *** flexible graphene thermocouple exhibits high sensitivity with a thermopower of 12.5μV K^(-1)in the temperature range of room temperature to∼70℃.Furthermore,it exhibits high linearity with a correlation coefficient exceeding 0.995 and fast response with a time constant of 0.24 *** to its mechanical robustness and flexibility,the stand-alone graphene ther-mocouple can be knitted into a cotton fabric glove,which presents a fast response to environmental changes without any external power *** work offers a unique fabrication method for producing a high-performance,flexible thermocouple that features a seamless and clear junction without the use of additional *** alternative method eliminates the complicated assembly processes typically required for conventional thermocouples.

In the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity, the challenge of providing realistic exercise scenarios that accurately mimic real-world threats has become increasingly critical. Traditional methods often fall short in capturing the dynamic and complex nature of modern cyber threats. To address this gap, we propose a comprehensive framework designed to create authentic network environments tailored for cybersecurity exercise systems. Our framework leverages advanced simulation techniques to generate scenarios that mirror actual network conditions faced by professionals in the field. The cornerstone of our approach is the use of a conditional tabular generative adversarial network (CTGAN), a sophisticated tool that synthesizes realistic synthetic network traffic by learning from real data patterns. This technology allows us to handle technical components and sensitive information with high fidelity, ensuring that the synthetic data maintains statistical characteristics similar to those observed in real network environments. By meticulously analyzing the data collected from various network layers and translating these into structured tabular formats, our framework can generate network traffic that closely resembles that found in actual scenarios. An integral part of our process involves deploying this synthetic data within a simulated network environment, structured on software-defined networking (SDN) principles, to test and refine the traffic patterns. This simulation not only facilitates a direct comparison between the synthetic and real traffic but also enables us to identify discrepancies and refine the accuracy of our simulations. Our initial findings indicate an error rate of approximately 29.28% between the synthetic and real traffic data, highlighting areas for further improvement and adjustment. By providing a diverse array of network scenarios through our framework, we aim to enhance the exercise systems used by cybersecurity professionals. This not only im

Hot torsion tests were performed on the Al-7Mg alloy at the temperature ranging from 300 to 500℃ and strain rates between 0.05 and 5 s^(-1) to explore the progressive dynamic recrystallization(DRX)and texture *** DRX behavior of the alloy manifested two distinct stages:Stage 1 at strain of≤2 and Stage 2 at strains of≥*** Stage 1,there was a slight increase in the DRXed grain fraction(X_(DRX))with predominance of discontinuous DRX(DDRX),followed by a modest change in X_(DRX) until the transition to Stage *** 2 was marked by an accelerated rate of DRX,culminating in a substantial final X_(DRX) of~*** backscattered diffraction(EBSD)analysis on a sample in Stage 2 revealed that continuous DRX(CDRX)predominantly occurred within the(121)[001]grains,whereas the(111)[110]grains underwent a geometric DRX(GDRX)evolution without a noticeable sub-grain ***,a modified Avrami’s DRX kinetics model was utilized to predict the microstructural refinement in the Al-7Mg alloy during the DRX *** this kinetics model did not accurately capture the DDRX behavior in Stage 1,it effectively simulated the DRX rate in Stage *** texture index was employed to assess the evolution of the texture isotropy during hot-torsion test,demonstrating significant improvement(>75%)in texture randomness before the commencement of Stage *** initial texture evolution is attributed to the rotation of parent grains and the substructure evolution,rather than to an increase in X_(DRX).
