Pathogens generate and secrete effector prot.ins to the host plant cells during pathogenesis to promote virulence and *** the plant carries resistance(R)prot.ins that recognize pathogen effectors,effector-t.iggered immunity(Eti)is activated,resulting in a robust.immune response and hypersensitive response(HR).the bipartite effector AvrRps4 from Pseudomonas syringae *** has been well studied in terms of avirulence *** planta,AvrRps4 is processed into two *** Cterminal fragment of AvrRps4(AvrRps4^(C))induces HR in turnip and is recognized by the paired resistance prot.ins AtRRS1/AtRPS4 in ***,we show that AvrRps4^(C)targets a group of Arabidopsis WRKY,including WRKY46,WRKY53,WRKY54,and WRKY70,to induce its virulence ***,AvrRps4^(C)suppresses the general binding and transcriptional activities of immune-positive regulator WRKY54 and WRKY54-mediated ***4^(C)interferes with WRKY54's binding activity to target gene SARD1 in vitro,suggesting WRKY54 is sequestered from the SARD1 promoter by AvrRps4^(C).through the interaction of Avr Rps4^(C)with four WRKYs,AvrRps4 enhances the formation of homo-/heterotypic complexes of four WRKYs and sequesters them in the cytoplasm,thus inhibiting their function in plant ***,our results provide a det.iled virulence mechanism of AvrRps4 through its C-terminus.

An Estimation Carbon Emission Reduction and Potential Finance Support of Wind Energy Plants under the Clean Development Mechanism(CDM)in Vietnam

the dissertation provides a comprehensive assessment of the potential carbon emission reduction and financial support that wind energy plants could receive under the Clean Development Mechanism（CDM）in *** research commences with a thorough review of the current state of wind energy development.in Vietnam,examining the existing regulatory and policy framework governing the ***,the study evaluates the overall adoption of the CDM in Vietnam,with a specific focus on its implementation wit.in the wind energy sector,providing an overview of the progress made thus *** establish a foundation for analysis,the research utilizes the consolidated baseline methodology to determine the current emission factor 0.8641 t CO/MWh in *** result.is considered as foundation to assess the abatement of CO reduction and revenue generated through trading carbon credits in Bac Lieu wind energy plant that.is a representative case study conducted under the *** Bac Lieu wind energy plant case study serves as a notable example of successful emission reduction,profit generation from carbon credit sales,and positive internal rate of return（iRR）with CDM *** analysis of t.is case study from 2013 to 2022demonstrates a reduction of 1,388,339.7 tons of CO2 emissions and a profit of 1053 billion VND from trading carbon credits,which significantly cont.ibutes to the project's *** inclusion of income from the CDM ensures a positive iRR（0.59%）over a 10-year operation period,whereas the absence of carbon credit sales would have resulted in a negative *** findings demonstrate that.integrating the CDM into wind energy projects not only facilitates the achievement of low-carbon emission targets but also offers substantial assistance that cont.ibute to the financial viability of these *** Bac Lieu wind energy plant stands as a successful example of a wind power project developed under the CDM in Vietnam and could serve as a model for future wind

Seasonal Effects of Backscattering intensity of ALOS-2 PALSAR-2 (L-Band) on Ret.ieval Forest Biomass in the tropics

t.is research has used the L-band radar from ALOS-2 PALSAR-2 and field work data for evaluation of seasonal effects of backscattering intensity on ret.ieval forest biomass in the tropics. the effects of seasonality and HH, and HV polarizations of the SAR data on the biomass were analyzed. the dry season HV polarization could explain 61% of the biomass in t.is study region. the dry season HV backscattering intensity was highly sensitive to the biomass compared to the rainy season backscattering intensity. the SAR data acquired in the rainy season with humid and wet canopies were not very sensitive to the in situ biomass. Strong dependence of the biomass estimates with season of SAR data acquisition confirmed that the choice of right season SAR data is very important for improving the satellite based estimates of the biomass. t.is research expects that the results obt.ined in t.is research will cont.ibute to monitoring of the quantity and quality of forest biomass in Vietnam and other tropical count.ies.

Feature Analysis and Classification of Particle Data from two-Dimensional Video Disdrometer

We developed a ground observation system for solid precipitation using two-dimensional video disdrometer (2DVD). Among 16,010 particles observed by the system, around 10% of them were randomly sampled and manually classified into five classes which are snowflake, snowflake-like, intermediate, graupel-like, and graupel. At first, each particle was represented as a vector of 72 features cont.ining fractal dimension and box-count to represent the complexity of particle shape. Feature analysis on the dataset clarified the importance of fractal dimension and box-count features for characterizing particles varying from snowflakes to graupels. On the other hand, performance evaluation of two-class classification by Support Vector Machine (SVM) was conducted. the experimental results revealed that, by selecting only 10 features out of 72, the average accuracy of classifying particles into snowflakes and graupels could reach around 95.4%, which had not been achieved by previous studies.

in recent years, Z-source inverters (ZSi) have been proposed as an replacement power conversion concept which it has both voltage buck and boost abilities. in addition, ZSi doesn’t require dead-time to protection short circuit at two switches any of the same phase leg in the inverter bridge and to achieve optimal harmonic of current, voltage. t.is paper presents two different control methods (CM) for ZSi. the aim of t.is study to compare between two modulation methods, there are modi?ed space vector pulse width modulation method (MSVM) and the simple boost control (SBC) about the unique harmonic performance features, the total average and peak switching device power of the inverter system. in addition, t.is paper also analyzes about the ability exceed modulation index in linear region of two CM using MAtLAB/Simulink.

Biotic and abiotic factors control aboveground biomass(AGB)and the structure of forest *** study analyses the variation of AGB and stand structure of evergreen broadleaved forests among six ecoregions of Vietnam.A data set of 1731-ha plots from 52 locations in undisturbed old-growth forests was *** results indicate that basal area and AGB are closely correlated with annual precipitation,but not with annual temperature,evaporation or hours of *** area and AGB are positively correlated with trees>30 cm *** areas surveyed(52.6%)in these old-growth forests had AGB of 100–200 Mg ha^-1;5.2%had AGB of 400–500 Mg ha^-1,and 0.6%had AGB of>800 Mg ha^-*** percent of the areas surveyed had stand densities of 300–600 ***^-1,and 64%had basal areas of 20–40 m^2 ha^-*** is an important factor influencing the AGB of old-growth,evergreen broadleaved forests in *** causing the loss of large-diameter trees(e.g.,>100 cm DBH)affects AGB but may not seriously affect stand density.

influence of Chitosan Binder on the Adhesion of Silver Nanoparticles on Cotton Fabric and Evaluation of Antibacterial Activity

Colloidal silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) with particle size less than 10 nm and concentration of 2 mM/L (~200 mg/L) were synthesized by gamma Co-60 ray irradiation of Ag+/chitosan solutions with different chitosan concentration of 0.5%, 1% and 2% (w/v). incorporation of AgNPs onto cotton fabric was carried out by padding method with 100% wet pick-up. the content of AgNPs deposited on cotton fabric and released from cotton fabric after repeated washing was determined by inductively couple plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy (iCP-AES). the results indicated that cotton/AgNPs fabric made from padding into AgNPs solution with 0.5% - 1% chitosan was the best one of AgNPs adhesion ability on cotton fabric. Results on antibacterial activity against S. aureus showed that cotton/AgNPs fabric with AgNPs content more than 100 mg/kg exhibited highly antibacterial activity (η > 98%). the mechanical property (tensile strength and elongation) of cotton/AgNPs fabrics was almost unchanged in comparison with untreated cotton fabric. thus, the resultant cotton/AgNPs fabric with highly antibacterial activity can be potentially used as bed drapes and/or patient uniforms in hospitals, etc.
