This paper deals with a new concept for calculating DC harmonic voltages and currents of line- commutated HVDC systems. In contrast to the conventional method, this method is useful for BTB (Back-To-Back) HVDC systems without smoothing reactors or PTP (Point-To-Point) with very short transmission line. This method proposes a new direction for HVDC system design and analysis. The proposed method is applied to a 50 Hz/60 Hz BTB test system and a synchronized BTB test system. After simulation and verification, the new results are introduced.

Brassinosteroid （BR） regulates diverse physiological and devel- opmental processes in plants （Choudhary et al., 2012）. BR binds to the receptor kinase BRI1 to trigger a phosphorylation/ dephosphorylation cascade, which includes phosphorylation of Brassinosteroid Signaling kinase 1 （BSK1） and Constitutive Differential Growth 1 （CDG1） by BRI1, phosphorylation of BSU1 by CDG1, and dephosphorylation of BIN2 （a GSK3-1ike kinase） by BSU1 （kim et al., 2009, 2011; Wang et al., 2014）. Almost all the downstream components of BR signaling are encoded by multiple genes of a family.

In order to investigate the possibility on the developing higher value-added products by recycling steel industry slags,the hydrothermal treatment and hydrothermal hot pressing were madeusing BF slag and quartz or *** characterization of fabricated pellets was made on the mechanical strength and micro hardness,as well as XRD analysis and SEM *** the hydrothermal treatment,the tobermorite（5Ca O·6Si O2·5H2O）phase was found in XRD patterns for the samples with 20%,30%and 40%quartz addition and with 10%flyash *** tobermorite peaks were shown for the sample with 10%flyash *** strength was found on the samples with 20%quartz addition and 10%flyash ***,the hydrothermal reaction in the mixed powder was not active in the hydrothermal hot pressing in the present experimental *** in the experimental parameters will be necessary to get hydrothermal reaction in the process of hydrothermal hot pressing.

The dissolution behavior of nickel in the MgO-SiO 2-FeO slag system was investigated by using the thermodynamic equilibrium *** distribution ratio between molten MgO-SiO 2-FeO slag and molten Fe-Ni alloy at 1773 K and 1873 K was measured to understand the dissolution mechanism of nickel into the *** dependence of oxygen partial pressure and basicity on the distribution of nickel was *** distribution behavior between slag and Fe-Ni alloy increased with higher oxygen partial pressure showing a dependence of 1/*** basic slag systems near the olivine saturated composition,the nickel distribution ratio increased with higher basicity showing a slope of 1 and for acidic slag systems near the cristobalite saturated composition,the nickel distribution ratio decreased with higher basicity showing a slope *** dissolution behavior of nickel in the MgO-SiO 2-FeO slag system showed two independent mechanisms similar to that found in the CaO-SiO 2-CaF 2 *** distribution ratio of sulfur between the（CaO）-MgO-FeO-SiO 2 slag and Fe-Ni alloy at high temperature was also investigated to understand the refining ability of Ferronickel smelting slag by chemical equilibrating *** experimental results indicated that sulfide capacity in terms of the slag composition of MgO-FeO-SiO 2 slag and temperature was increased with increasing FeO and CaO contents as well as *** FeO is considered to work as relatively basic component in this slag system that has low *** the effect of components of slag on sulfide capacity,CaO and FeO is considered to be more effective basic oxide than MgO in MgO-FeO-SiO 2 slag system while the effect of FeO on sulfide capacity was gradually retarded with increasing *** effect of CaO on MgO solubility of slag and the relationship between sulfide and Ni oxide capacities was also discussed.

Background: Even though NIR fluorescence imaging has many advantages in SLN mapping and cancer detection, NIR fluorescence imaging shows a serious drawback that NIR cannot be detected by the naked eye without any detectors. This limitation further disturbs accurate SLN detection and adequate tumor resection resulting in the presence of cancerous cells near the boundaries of surgically removed tissues. Materials and methods: To overcome the drawback of the conventional NIR imaging method, we suggest a novel NIR imaging system which can make the NIR fluorescence image visible to the naked eye as NIR fluorescence image detected by a video camera is processed by a computer and then projected back onto the NIR fluorescence excitation position with a projector using conspicuous color light. Image processing techniques were used for projection onto the exact position of the NIR fluorescence image. Also, we implemented a phantom experiment to evaluate the performance of the developed NIR fluorescence projection system by use of the ICG. Results: The developed NIR fluorescence projection system was applied in normal mouse model to confirm the usefulness of the system in the clinical field. A BALB/c nude mouse was prepared to be applied in normal mouse model and 0.25 mg/ml stock solution of the ICG was injected through a tail vein of the mouse. From the application in normal mouse model, we could confirm that the injected ICG stayed in the liver of the mouse and verify that the projection system projected the ICG fluorescence image at the exact location of the ICG by performing laparotomy of the mouse. Conclusions: From the application in normal mouse model, we could verify that the ICG fluorescence image was precisely projected back on the site where ICG fluorescence generated. It can be demonstrated that the NIR fluorescence projection system can make it possible to visualize the invisible NIR fluorescence image and to realize that SLN mapping and cancer detection in clinic

Reactive oxygen signaling regulates numerous biological processes,including stress responses in *** sensors transduce reactive oxygen signals into cellular ***,we present biochemical evidence that a plant quiescin sulfhydryl oxidase homolog(QSOX1)is a redox sensor that negatively regulates plant immunity against a bacterial *** expression level of QSOX1 is inversely correlated with pathogen-induced reactive oxygen species(ROS)***,QSOX1 both senses and regulates ROS levels by interactingn with and mediating redox regulation of S-nitrosoglutathione reductase,which,consistent with previous findings,influences reactive nitrogen-mediated regulation of ROS ***,our data indicate that QSOX1 is a redox sensorthat negatively regulates plant immunity by linking reactive oxygen and reactive nitrogen signaling to limit ROS production.

＜正＞Objectives:Ginseng has been traditionally used to recover vital energy from Qi deficiency in oriental countries, and showed its various biomedical effects in scientific literatures. Recent reports suggested that ginseng could regulate blood pressure （BP）, but much controversy still remain. Therefore, we intended to assess the anti-hypertensive effect of some ginseng species on Koreans and Chinese. Method:This is a randomized, double blinded controlled trial. We conducted this study in Department of Cardiovascular and Neurologic Diseases （Stroke Center）, Hospital of Oriental Medicine, Kyung Hee Medical Center, from June 2004 to October 2004, and In China, 96 subjects were recruited at the Emergency Room of Teaching Hospital of The Traditional Chinese Medicine of Chengdu University, from July 2004 to April 2005. The study subjects were recruited from the mild hypertensive patients who belonged pre-hypertension （120/80 to 139/89 mmHg） and stage I hypertension （140/90 to 159/99 mmHg） in Korea and China. After assigning the subjects into a Korean, a Chinese, a Red, and an American ginseng group by randomization, we prescribed ginseng with the dose of 4.5 g per a day for 4 weeks. To assess the anti-hypertensive effect, we compared the mean of systolic and diastolic BP between before and after ginseng medication by 24 hours Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor （24hr ABPM）. We also monitored adverse effect and laboratory findings to secure the subjects’ safety. Results:There were 64 subjects who had been treated with Korean ginseng, 58 treated with Chinese ginseng, 33 treated with Red ginseng, and 64 treated with American ginseng. Korean, Chinese, and American ginseng reduced subjects’ BP. Especially, Korean and Chinese ginseng showed more excellent effects. The secondary analysis on the subjects’ nationality revealed that all of the ginseng species showed more significant anti-hypertensive effect in Chinese than in Koreans.
