Success Rate of Dental Implants Placed in the Atrophic Posterior maxilla with Intentional Sinus Floor Perforation in Lieu of Indirect Sinus Augmentation: A Retrospective Report of 26 Consecutive Patients and Literature Review

Purpose: To assess surgical success rate of placing dental implants in the atrophic posterior maxilla engaging the maxillary sinus floor in patients with inadequate posterior maxillary alveolar bone height (PmABH). methods: 26 patients with PmABH of 7 - 10 mm had 39 implants placed between July 2012 and June 2014. These implants were placed protruding apically 1 - 3 mm into the maxillary sinus engaging the sinus floor. At stage one, implants and cover screws were placed, followed by stage two, 5 - 6 months later. The implants were considered osseo-integrated in the absence of symptoms, mobility and inflammation. Periapical radiographs were taken to rule out peri-implant radiolucency. Restorative treatment was completed 2 months thereafter. Patients were scheduled to have a dental exam (6 - 12 months after delivery of prosthesis) and the implants were evaluated clinically and radiographically. A retrospective review was conducted to assess the surgical success rate of this treatment modality. Clinic charts, radiographs and digital implant log were reviewed for all patients with PmABH of 7 - 10 mm who received dental implants in the posterior maxilla to determine the success rate of this treatment modality. Results: 26 patients who had 39 implants placed were included in the study. All implants (100%) were osseo-integrated at the time of uncovering (stage 2). None of the implants (0%) had mobility or inflammation around them. Stage 2 was successfully performed on all 39 implants (100%). All implants (100%) in these patients had been restored, and were in good condition without mobility or inflammation, and had been functioning well 6 - 12 months after restoration. Conclusion: This study suggests that a high success rate can be attained placing dental implants in the posterior maxilla while perforating and engaging the cortical maxillary sinus floor. Hypersonic reentry trajectory planning by using hybrid fractional-order particle swarm optimization and gravitational search algorithm

This paper proposes a novel hybrid algorithm called Fractional-order Particle Swarm optimization Gravitational Search Algorithm(FPSOGSA)and applies it to the trajectory planning of the hypersonic lifting reentry flight *** proposed method is used to calculate the control profiles to achieve the two objectives,namely a smoother trajectory and enforcement of the path constraints with terminal *** smoothness of the trajectory is achieved by scheduling the bank angle with the aid of a modified scheme known as a Quasi-Equilibrium Glide(QEG)*** aerodynamic load factor and the dynamic pressure path constraints are enforced by further planning of the bank angle with the help of a constraint enforcement *** maximum heating rate path constraint is enforced through the angle of attack *** Common Aero Vehicle(CAV)flight vehicle is used for the simulation purpose to test and compare the proposed method with that of the standard Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)method and the standard Gravitational Search Algorithm(GSA).The simulation results confirm the efficiency of the proposed FPSOGSA method over the standard PSO and the GSA methods by showing its better convergence and computation efficiency.

High-temperature ionothermal synthesis has been proven effective in preparing environment-friendly carbon nitride （CN）-based photocatalysts in either triazine or heptazine form for CO2reduction reaction （CO2RR）.However,such a process is usually energy-intensive and suffers from partial carbonization that results in non-porous catalysts and degenerating their ***,we report the preparation of highly porous CN polymers (porous C6N7,C3N3,C4.5N5) through a low-temperature solvothermal polymerization of cyameluric chloride itself or cyanuric chloride itself,or both,*** such,it avoids unfavorable carbonization and allows for fine control of its chemical structure and significantly enlarged surface area (up to669 m2g-1).The pincer-like 2,2′-bipyridine sites of porous C6N7alter the photocatalytic CO2reduction pathways via stabilizing the*HCO intermediates,which promotes further hydrogenation to produce CH4in a high *** from the carbonization-free polymerization,high porosity,and*HCO intermediate activation,porous C6N7gave a superior CO2RR to CH4performance (17.18μmol g-1h-1) as well as high stability （5 successive cycles）,outperforming the bulk and state-of-the-art counterparts of *** opens an avenue for the rational construction of efficient porous CN-based photocatalytic systems,demonstrating their great potential in energy conversion reactions.

针对航空变频电源的频率(360～800Hz)检测,提出了一种基于三线离散傅里叶变换(DFT)的实时检测算法。首先对采样序列加汉宁窗,通过DFT计算基波频率主瓣区域的离散谱线幅值,推导出基波频率与3条离散谱线幅值的数值关系。其次结合电力系统的基波和谐波特点,分析了该算法无主瓣频谱泄露的采样点数选择方法;采用旋转坐标法计算离散谱线幅值,使三线DFT计算量得以显著减小;通过迭代法估计频率初值,对航空电源宽范围连续变化值进行检测,克服栅栏效应。仿真和实验结果表明,该算法具有良好的实时性,阶跃响应好,稳态精度高。

Proximate composition and elemental analysis in soft tissues of freshwater mussels （Anodonta anatina） from the Chashma Lake, River Indus Pakistan

BACKGROUND： Aquatic invertebrates are playing an important role in assessment of the water contaminants and also serve as a major component of food chain. Freshwater mussels are considered to be the good bioindicator species of aquatic environment and widely used to determine the metals load. mETHODS： Proximate composition and elemental analysis were carried out in edible （foot, mantle） and non-edible portion （gills） of freshwater mussels （Anodonta anatina） harvested from various site of Chashma Lake, River Indus Pakistan. RESULTS： The nutritional components were varied among the studied portion and muscular foot found to be the best part for consumption. Protein and fat contents were significantly higher in foot （15.90±0.88%, 1.19 ±0.26%） as compared to mantle （10.78±2.24%, 0.27±0.09%） and gills （6.44± 1.22%, 0.53 4-0.15%） respectively. For the macro minerals mantle had high concentration of Ca （46838±984 mg/kg）, Na （2706±343 mg/kg）, P （6921± 1063 mg/kg） and mn （7207± 1046 mg/kg） as compared to foot. CONCLUSIONS： Heavy metals （Cd, Cu, Cr） concentration in edible portions were lower than the permissible limit by WHO whereas the concentration of Pb was slightly higher than the recommended value that might be the risk for the consumers. Being filter feeder gills accumulated the high concentration of all the metals and found to be the key portion for biomonitoring studies. Freshwater mussels of Chashma Lake Indus River are the rich source of protein and all the other micro and macro minerals therefore could be used as an excellent source of food.

光伏并网逆变器是实现太阳能发电系统与电网并网的核心装置,准确的光伏逆变器模型对光伏接入电网的运行分析、故障保护等均具有重要的意义。针对目前逆变器模型研究较少,分析现有逆变器建模方法不足。结合7.68kW光伏实验发电系统搭建了光伏逆变器的测试平台,采集了逆变器输入输出数据,建立了基于最小二乘系统辨识算法的逆变器模型和模型参数估计方法,形成了一种基于实验测试的光伏逆变器建模方法。实验验证了此测试和建模方法的有效性。
