Relationship between skin fold thickness and insulin resistance in the essential hypertensive patients in Vietnam

Background Previous studies reported a close relationship between obesity and insulin resistance in the essential hypertensive patients. Objective In this study, we examined the relationship between the skin fold thickness and insulin resistance then developed a formula to estimate the insulin resistance index according to the skin fold thickness in the essential hypertensive patients. Subjects and Methods Medical records of 80 patients (37 males, 43 females) were reviewed and the data were tabulated. Anthropometric indexes (including height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, and skins fold thickness at 5 fatty difference points on the Erdheim diagram), fasting plasma glucose and insulin concentration were recorded. The mean age was 57.0 ?9.2 years. The insulin resistance index was calculated following the Homeostasis Model Assessment (HOMA) formula. Results Compared with the group with BMI 0.05). There was a positive correlation between skin fold thickness and the fasting insulin concentration and insulin resistance index. The skin fold thickness at point A8 had the best coefficient correlated with fasting plasma insulin(r=0.79, P < 0.001) and insulin resistance index (r= 0.79, P < 0.001). A formula to estimate the insulin resistance index by skin fold thickness at point A8 as: Insulin resistance index = 0.12×[skin fold thickness at A8 point (mm)] - 1. Conclusion: In the essential hypertensive patients, the formula to estimate insulin resistance index as 0.12×[skin fold thickness at A8 point (mm)]-1 may predict accurately the level of insulin resistance. Biotic and abiotic factors control aboveground biomass(AGB)and the structure of forest *** study analyses the variation of AGB and stand structure of evergreen broadleaved forests among six ecoregions of Vietnam.A data set of 1731-ha plots from 52 locations in undisturbed old-growth forests was *** results indicate that basal area and AGB are closely correlated with annual precipitation,but not with annual temperature,evaporation or hours of *** area and AGB are positively correlated with trees>30 cm *** areas surveyed(52.6%)in these old-growth forests had AGB of 100–200 Mg ha^-1;5.2%had AGB of 400–500 Mg ha^-1,and 0.6%had AGB of>800 Mg ha^-*** percent of the areas surveyed had stand densities of 300–600 ***^-1,and 64%had basal areas of 20–40 m^2 ha^-*** is an important factor influencing the AGB of old-growth,evergreen broadleaved forests in *** causing the loss of large-diameter trees(e.g.,>100 cm DBH)affects AGB but may not seriously affect stand density.

随着经济全球化的进一步发展、科学技术的不断创新,世界各个国家的竞争日益加强,人们对于政府替公共服务质量和效率的要求也越来越高,这在客观上要求世界各个国家的公务员要不断的提高自身的素质和能力,以适应快速发展的社会要求,更好地为公众提供共服务。而公务员不断提高自身素质和能力最重要的途径就是参见公务员培训,不断提升素质、改善自身能力结构。与此同时,人力资源开发与管理理论的不断发展完善为公务员培训提供了理论支撑和技术工具,这种情况下世界各国不断探索和创新公务员培训的理念,方法与途径。当前,越南正处于经济与社会发展的关键时期,从1986年实行改革开放以来,越南政府通过深化改革、大力吸引外资等手段,使得经济稳步增长,发展迈上了一个新台阶。越南共产党和政府要想拥有更强大的能力和竞争优势,必须全面提高政府工作人员的素质,因此,对公务员进行有效的培训,便被提到议事日程上来。越南公务员培训是在逐步借鉴世界各国公务员培训的普遍做法的基础上建立起来的。公务员培训作为提高国家公务员整体素质的一个重要手段,直接影响着政府工作。建立和完善公务员培训制度,是适应当前越南国情和国际大环境的必然要求。然而,目前越南公务员培训仍存在着一些不足之处,尤其是地方政府公务员培训的质量不高,实效欠佳,是个不容忽视的客观问题,影响实效的因素是多方面的。这需要及时的发现并积极寻找对策,增强越南地方政府公务员培训工作实效性的途径和思路,提高在市场经济体制下地方政府公务员培训的质量,以完善公务员培训的工作,是一个很现实意义的课题。本论文以越南和平省为例,对越南地方政府公务员培训进行研究,其研究内容由五章组成。第一章为导论,主要阐述了本课题的研究背景,研究目的和意义,描述当前国内外公务员培训的研究现状,介绍论文的研究方法,研究的思路和篇章逻辑设计;第二章主要介绍地方政府公务员培训的相关概念与理论基础;第三章结合越南地方政府公务员培训的现状分析—以越南和平省为例,第四章指出越南地方政府公务员培训存在的问题和原因分析通过分析越南和平省公务员培训工作;第五章在前面分析研究的基础上提出完善越南地方政府公务员培训的相关对策;第六章得出了本论文的结论。

Objective:To evaluate the antitumor activity both in vitro and in vivo of saponin–phospholipid complex of Panax ***:The in vitro cytotoxic effect of saponins extract and saponin–phospholipid complex against human lung cancer NCI-H460 and breast cancer cell lines BT474 was examined using MTS *** in vivo evaluation of antitumor potential,saponin and saponin–phospholipid complex were administered orally in rats induced mammary carcinogenesis by 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)anthracene,for 30 ***:Our data showed that saponin–phospholipid complex had stronger anticancer effect compared to saponin *** IC50 values of saponin–phospholipid complex and saponin extract for NCI-H460 cell lines were 28.47 mg/m L and 47.97 mg/mL,respectively and these values for BT474 cells were 53.18 mg/mL and 86.24 mg/mL,*** vivo experiments,administration of saponin,saponin–phospholipid complex and paclitaxel(positive control) effectively suppressed 7,12-dimethylbenz(a) anthracene-induced breast cancer evidenced by a decrease in tumor volume,the reduction of lipid peroxidation level and increase in the body weight,and elevated the enzymatic antioxidant activities of superoxide dismutase,catalase,glutathione peroxidase in rat breast ***:Our study suggests that saponin extract from Panax notoginseng and saponin–phospholipid complex have potential to prevent cancer,especially breast cancer.

The relationship between the severity of dengue infection and allergy is still obscure. We conducted an electronic search across 12 databases for relevant articles reporting allergic symptoms, dengue infection, and dengue classification. These studies were categorized according to dengue severity and allergy symptoms, and a meta-analysis was performed by pooling the studies in each category. Among the included 57 articles, pruritus was the most common allergic sign followed by non-specified allergy and asthma(28.6%, 13%, and 6.5%, respectively). Despite the reported significant association of dengue with pruritus and total Ig E level(P \ 0.05), in comparison with non-dengue cases and healthy controls, there was no association between the different severe dengue group with pruritus, skin allergy, food allergy or asthma. However,removing the largest study revealed a significant association between asthma with dengue hemorrhagic fever(DHF) rather than dengue fever(DF). In comparison with DF, DHF was associated with Ig E positivity. Furthermore, specific-Ig E level was higher in secondary DF rather than primary DF. There was a possible association between allergy symptoms and dengue severity progression. Further studies are needed to clarify this association.

Embryonic, genetic and clinical outcomes of fresh versus vitrified oocyte: A retrospective cohort study

Objective:To compare embryonic development,ploidy status and clinical outcomes between fresh and frozen-thawed ***:This retrospective cohort study evaluated 83 fertilization cycles including both fresh and frozen oocytes from 79 patients at the HP Fertility Center of Hai Phong International Hospital of Obstetrics and Pediatrics in *** patient underwent several ovarian stimulation cycles to accumulate a certain number of oocytes that would be *** the last oocyte retrieval,all patient’s oocytes including both frozen and fresh would be *** outcomes included the rates of oocyte survival,cleavage embryo,blastocyst,ploidy status,pregnancy,biochemical pregnancy and clinical ***:The oocyte survival rate after thawing was 96.5%.No statistically significant difference was found when comparing fresh and frozen oocytes regarding fertilization rate(78.1%vs.75.5%,P=0.461),usable cleavage embryo rate(86.9%vs.87.2%,P=0.916)but usable blastocyst rate was found higher statistically in the frozen oocyte group(44.4%vs.54.0%,P=0.049).The percentages of euploid,aneuploid and mosaic embryos between the fresh group and the vitrified group had no significant differences(33.8%vs.31.6%,P=0.682;51.0%vs.54.2%,P=0.569;15.2%vs.12.4%,P=0.787;respectively).The rates of pregnancy,biochemical pregnancy and clinical pregnancy had no statistical difference(68.8%vs.64.8%,P=0.764;12.5%vs.3.6%,P=0.258;37.5%vs.46.4%,P=0.565).17 Mature oocytes are the minimum to have at least one euploid ***:Oocyte vitrification does not affect embryonic,genetic and clinical *** number of mature oocytes should be considered for fertilization in some cases.

雷达信号的恒虚警率(Constant False Alarm Rate, CFAR)处理技术是现代雷达信号处理的重要研究内容之一,在雷达目标自动检测中占有不可或缺的重要地位。CFAR处理技术的理论研究虽然已取得丰硕成果但现有的经典恒虚警检测算法一般难以在不同环境中得到了性能的平衡,而大多恒虚警检测器都面对在非均匀杂波环境下的杂波边缘和多干扰目标环境中检测性能下降的问题。本文在分析了几种典型杂波模型的基础上,针对非均匀杂波背景下的雷达恒虚警检测技术进行了研究。论文的主要工作如下：1)在讨论了瑞利分布、对数正态分布及韦布尔分布等经典杂波分布模型的基础上,以韦布尔分布杂波为例,采用零记忆非线性变换(ZMNL)方法进行了非相干及相关杂波模拟仿真,为后续研究工作奠定基础。2)分析了传统的均值(ML, Mean Level)类和有序统计量(OS, Order Statistics)类的CFAR检测器,仿真比较了其在均匀杂波背景、多干扰目标杂波背景及存在杂波边缘背景下的性能,为后续CFAR检测器的设计讨论提供了性能评估依据。3)针对存在杂波边缘的非均匀杂波背景下,仿真分析了MLC-CFAR、Ⅵ-CFAR等CFAR检测算法,针对Ⅵ-CFAR在杂波边缘漏警概率增大和在多干扰目标环境检测性能下降的缺点,提出了一种多策略CFAR检测器(ACSVI-CFAR)。仿真分析表明ACSVI-CFAR检测器既改善了Ⅵ-CFAR在均匀背景的恒虚警损失及杂波边缘环境下的虚警概率控制能力,同时具有S-CFAR检测器在多干扰目标背景下的优异性能4)针对未知数目的多干扰目标杂波背景环境,在研究了排序数据方差(ODV)删除算法的基础上,仿真分析了基于排序数据方差的自适应删除最大似然恒虚警(ACMLH-CFAR)检测器,针对ACMLH-CFAR检测器在杂波边缘背景检测性能的不足,采用Ⅵ-CFAR算法的均值比对其进行改进,仿真结果表明,改进后的ACMLH-CFAR在杂波边缘性能得到了改善。
