The application of Geographic Information System(gis), Remote Sensing(RS) and Global Position System(GPS) in the research of forest landscape is outlined in this paper. The integration of the 3S technique is also described. In the 3S system, RS is used to obtain the various information of forest landscape. GPS is used to obtain the ground data of orientation and guide the people to the different places. And gis is used in information management and processing.

The impact of interbasin water transfer on environment is very significant. The affected area of the west route scheme of the South to North Water Transfer Project in china (SNWT) is located in the eastern Tibetan Plateau, where the altitude is high with frigid eco-environment. In this article, remote sensing and gis are applied to analyze the natural environment and the natural environment index is established to express the natural conditions of the study area. After the natural environment index is divided into four grades and the features of each grade are analysed, some results are obtained for reference in environmental assessment of the west route of SNWT.

According to the principle of the eruption of debris flows, the new torrent classification techniques are brought forward. The torrent there can be divided into 4 types such as the debris flow torrent with high destructive strength, the debris flow torrent, high sand-carrying capacity flush flood torrent and common flush flood by the techniques. In this paper, the classification indices system and the quantitative rating methods are presented. Based on torrent classification, debris flow torrent hazard zone mapping techniques by which the debris flow disaster early-warning object can be ascertained accurately are identified. The key techniques of building the debris flow disaster neural network (NN) real time forecasting model are given detailed explanations in this paper, including the determination of neural node at the input layer, the output layer and the implicit layer, the construction of knowledge source and the initial weight value and so on. With this technique, the debris flow disaster real-time forecasting neural network model is built according to the rainfall features of the historical debris flow disasters, which includes multiple rain factors such as rainfall of the disaster day, the rainfall of 15 days before the disaster day, the maximal rate of rainfall in one hour and ten minutes. It can forecast the probability, critical rainfall of eruption of the debris flows, through the real-time rainfall monitoring or weather forecasting. Based on the torrent classification and hazard zone mapping, combined with rainfall monitoring in the rainy season and real-time forecasting models, the debris flow disaster early-warning system is built. In this system, the gis technique, the advanced international software and hardware are applied, which makes the system’s performance steady with good expansibility. The system is a visual information system that serves management and decision-making, which can facilitate timely inspect of the variation of the torrent type

The paper makes detailed analysis on the changing processes of the main types of land use in Three Gorges Reservoir Area through the techniques of RS （Remote Sense） and gis （Geography Information System）. Based on the theory of landscape ecology, many types of landscape pattern indexes are calculated and made correlation analysis. The results indicate that： in 1995 the ecological environment of Three Gorges Reservoir Area was the most vulnerable in the recent 50 years, but resumed in 2002; the landscape pattern diversity index, fractal dimension index and fragmentation index has close correlation with the area of land use/cover change （LUCC）. The research also releases that the increase of the cultivated land, grassland and construction land deteriorates the landscape ecological pattern, while the increase of forest land area will help restore the landscape ecological pattern to its original state. The rapid change of grassland is an important index of the change of landscape pattern, because it has the most effect on change of landscape pattern index.

According to the fractal theory, the fractal dimensions of the 7 drainage basins and the flood are preliminarily calculated on the basis of gis in this paper. The possible relation between the fractal dimensions of the 7 drainage basins and the flood is discussed. The following conclusions are obtained: fractal dimension is an useful parameter to depict the character of flood and it is of rich information indicating the frequency and period of flood; in the studied time period, if the numbers of flood in a drainage basin are relatively great, the fractal dimension of flood in this drainage basin is comparatively great, vice versa; when the fractal dimension of a drainage basin is relatively small, the fractal dimension of flood in this drainage basin is comparatively great, vice versa.

While detecting anomalies in hyperspectral imagery with support vector data description （SVDD）, large numbers of operation was run because of the high dimension character of dataset and the complexity of background and the high miss rate was discovered because of the interfered background by interior anomalies. This paper used incremental support vector data description （ISVDD） method that samples are divided many sub- sample, and incremental study is designed to simplify the computation. On every sub-sample study, optimization is needed according of the support vectors obtained from above sub-sample and current sub-sample data. By the experiment on the HYMAP data, computation complexity of the algorithm decrease obviously and the computation speed increase highly under the similar detection effect compared with SVDD algorithm.

A hydroponic experiment was carried out to determine the influence of replacing 20% of nitrate-N in nutrient solutions with 20 individual amino acids on growth, nitrate accumulation, and concentrations of nitrogen （N）, phosphorus （P）, and potassium （K） in pak-choi （Brassica chinensis L.） shoots. When 20% of nitrate-N was replaced with arginine （Arg） compared to the full nitrate treatment, pak-choi shoot fresh and dry weights increased significantly （P ≤ 0.05）, but when 20% of nitrate-N was replaced with alanine （Ala）, valine （Val）, leucine （Leu）, isoleucine （Ile）, proline （Pro）, phenylalanine （Phe）, methionine （Met）, aspartic acid （Asp）, glutamic acid （Glu）, lysine （Lys）, glycine （Gly）, serine （Ser）, threonine （Thr）, cysteine （Cys）, and tyrosine （Tyr）, shoot fresh and dry weights decreased significantly （P ≤ 0.05）. After replacing 20% of nitrate-N with asparagine （Asn） and glutamine （Gin）, shoot fresh and dry weights were unaffected. Compared to the full nitrate treatment, amino acid replacement treatments, except for Cys, Gly, histidine （His）, and Arg, significantly reduced （P ≤0.05） nitrate concentrations in plant shoots. Except for Cys, Leu, Pro, and Met, total N concentrations in plant tissues of the other amino acid treatments significantly increased （P ≤ 0.05）. Amino acids also affected total P and K concentrations, but the effects differed depending on individual amino acids. To improve pak-choi shoot quality, Gln and Asn, due to their insignificant effects on pak-choi growth, their significant reduction in nitrate concentrations, and their increase in macroelement content in plants, may be used to partially replace nitrate-N.

Land use changes of river segment ecosystems from the Lancang River and Yuanjiang River were studied from 1985 to 2000 in order to compare their changes of service values and analyze the driving mechanisms based on eco-economic and gis *** showed that forest areas in both the river segment ecosystems were *** reduced forest in the Lancang River(LR)segment eco- system was mostly transformed into glebe with the conversion rate of 56.0%,while the reduced forest in the Yuanjiang River(YR)segment ecosystem was mostly transformed into residence land with the conversion rate of 42.5%.Both change amount and change rate of areas of each land use type in the LR segment ecosystem were much larger than those in the YR segment *** total service value of the LR segment ecosystem was decreased with the change rate of 15.3%,while that of YR segment ecosystem was increased with the change rate of 0.6%.Manwan Hydropower development was the major enthropogenic driving factor which led to the change of service value of the LR segment ecosystem with the contribution rate of 93%.Agricultural activities were the most important driving factors in the YR segment ecosystem with the contribution rate of 59%.The loss of value of Sediment transportation service resulting from Manwan Hydropower Project construction should take responsi- bility for the significant decrease of service value of waters,even for the whole LR segment ecosystem. The ecosystem service coefficients of forest and grassland in the study area were much higher than the average level in china,so were the ratios of indirect value to direct value of both the river segment *** the impacts of human activities,the capacity of river ecosystem for providing products was enhanced,while it was weakened to maintain natural ecosystem health.

Based on the land use(LU)(in 1985 and 2000)and road networks(RN)data in the Longitudinal Range- Gorge Region(LRGR),ecosystem services value(ESV)loss under the disturbance of road networks was estimated by using landscape degradation index(LDI)to clarify the effects of human activities on ecosystem service function(ESF).Results show that the ESV decreased more than 65×10～8 Yuan(RMB) due to the transformation of ecosystems in the study area during the pest 16 *** ecosystems influenced by road networks of different grades account for 5.4% of the total land in the study *** ecosystems lost their ESV of 1900×10～8 Yuan(RMB)by the disturbance of *** effect of RN on the ESV decreased *** forecast shows that ESV will be decreased 1.2%/a on average in 2010 and 2020 due to RN *** effect of ecosystem structure change on ESV was complex and *** disturbance of RN,one of the human activities influencing ESF is considered,further study end new method should be developed to accurately estimate the loss of ESV and the ecosystem function.
