近来巴西大豆生产的增长引发了环境保护团体以及一些学者对于亚马孙盆地的热带自然环境正在向大豆种植地转换的关注。大豆生产的支持者则认为大豆是区域的一种可行性农产品;对于环境的关注是没有根据的,因为新的大豆种植地正在替代已经被砍伐的林地或者是转换了的土地。两种观点虽被提出却都没有对大豆生产扩充区的土地利用与土地覆被(LULC)状况进行过综合研究与估量。本案例研究是在巴西的朗多尼亚州,亚马孙盆地西南部的维列纳市(Vilhena),通过遥感手段对1996～2001年以来该市大豆种植面积的大幅度增加所伴随的土地利用与土地覆被变化状况进行评估。结果表明虽然森林变成了大豆生产基地,但是大部分的大豆生产的增长归功于对已有土地的微量扩充、已伐林地的转换以及更高的单位产量。

The valuation of barrier options under a threshold rough Heston model

In this paper,we propose a novel model for pricing double barrier options,where the asset price is modeled as a threshold geometric Brownian motion time changed by an integrated activity rate process,which is driven by the convolution of a fractional kernel with the CIR *** new model both captures the leverage effect and produces rough paths for the volatility *** model also nests the threshold diffusion,Heston and rough Heston *** can derive analytical formulas for the double barrier option prices based on the eigenfunction expansion *** also implement the model and numerically investigate the sensitivities of option prices with respect to the parameters of the model.

Following votes by the pliensbachian Working Group, the Jurassic Subcommission and the International Commission on Stratigraphy, IUGS ratified the proposed Global Boundary Stratotype Section and point (GSSp) for the base of the pliensbachian Stage (Lower Jurassic) at the base of bed 73b in the Wine Haven section, Robin Hood's Bay, Yorkshire Coast, UK. This level contains the characteristic ammonite association Bifericeras donovani Dommergues and Meister and Apoderoceras sp. Complementary data include: a) Strontium-isotope stratigraphy, based on analysis of belemnites which yield a calcite 87Sr/86Sr ratio for the boundary level of 0.707425 and data supporting interpretation of continuous sedimentation; b) Belemnite oxygen-isotope data indicate a significant temperature drop (∼5 °C) across the boundary at this locality; c) A Transgressive Systems Tract (TST) initiated in the Aplanatum Subzone (uppermost Sinemurian) continues into the Lowermost pliensbachian (Taylori Subzone); it forms part of a transgressive facies cycle sensu Graciansky et al. (1998); d) The Upper Sinemurian to lowermost pliensbachian at Wine Haven section has a predominantly normal magnetic polarity, but two discrete reversed polarity magnetozones are present. The first spans much of the latest Sinemurian Aplanatum Subzone. It terminates pliensbachian boundary and may prove a valuable chronostratigraphic marker. The second extends from the latest Oxynotum Subzone probably through to the lower part of the Raricostatum Subzone.

Machine learning and price-based load scheduling for an optimal IoT control in the smart and frugal home

We pose and study a scheduling problem for an electric load to develop an Internet of Things(IoT)control system for power appliances,which takes advantage of real-time dynamic energy *** historical pricing data from a large *** supplier,we study and compare several dynamic scheduling policies,which can be implemented in a smart home to activate a major appliance(dishwasher,washing machine,clothes dryer)at an optimal time of the day,to minimize electricity *** formulate our scheduling task as a supervised machine learning classification problem which activates the load during one of two preferred time *** features used in the machine learning problem are hourly market,spot and day-ahead prices along with delayed label of the prior *** find that boosting tree-based algorithms outperform any other classification approach with measurable reduction of energy costs over certain types of naive and static *** observe that the delayed label has most predictive power across features,followed,on average,by spot,hourly market,and day-ahead energy *** further discuss implementation issues using a micro controller system coupled with cloud-based serverless computing and dynamic data *** test system includes an interactive voice interface via an intelligent personal assistant.

中国大豆产业应对国际风险因素的对策模拟研究

中国大豆产业高度依赖进口,且进口来源高度集中,大豆进口主要来源国面临的自然灾害和经贸摩擦等都会影响国内大豆产业,增加进口不确定性。为应对国际风险,基于各国大豆的供需平衡表和全球双边贸易矩阵等数据,利用全球农产品局部均衡模型方法,定量模拟评估了提高中国大豆单产、加强与阿根廷和俄罗斯大豆合作等三项对策可能带来的政策效果。结果表明:这些对策均能在不同程度增加全球大豆供给,降低世界价格,同时,可分散进口风险,减少对美国和巴西的高度进口依赖,促进大豆进口多元化,增加中国消费者福利,形成更稳定和可持续的大豆进口贸易格局。由此提出以下建议:首先,应加大国内大豆研发技术投入,提高单产,提高自给率;其次,在环境可持续发展的背景下,同主产国合作提高其应对自然风险等的能力,保障稳定的大豆供给;同时,拓宽进口来源,加强与俄罗斯和乌克兰等国家的农业合作,增加国际市场供给,实现大豆进口多元化,分散风险。
