The sta.ility of C36H2 isomers a.d selection rules for choosing position in a.dition rea.tions ba.ed on symmetrica. C36（D6h a.d D2d） fullerene ha.e been studied by mea.s of a.ha.a.s topologica. resona.ce energy （TRE） a.d bond resona.ce energy （BRE） methods. The rela.ion between the a.dition pa.tern a.d BREs is esta.lished, showing high a.tia.oma.ic bonds a.e preferred for a.dition. These results show tha. TRE a.d BRE methods ca. be used to predict a.d interpret a.dition sites for these systems.

The a.oma.icity of a.l possible substituted fullerene isomers of C18N2, C18B2, C18BN, a.d their molecula. ions which origina.e from the C20 （Ih） ca.e were studied by the topologica. resona.ce energy （TRE） a.d the percenta.e topologica. resona.ce energy methods. The rela.ionship between the a.oma.icity of C18BxNy isomers a.d the sites where the heteroa.oms dope a. the C20 （Ih） ca.e is discussed. Ca.cula.ion results show tha. a. the neutra. a.d ca.ionic sta.es a.l the isomers a.e predicted to be a.tia.oma.ic with nega.ive TREs, but their polyva.ent a.ions a.e predicted to be a.oma.ic with positive TREs. The most sta.le isomer is formed by heteroa.om doping a. the 1,11-sites in C18N2. C18B2, a.d C18BN. Heterofullerenes a.e more a.oma.ic tha. C20. The sta.ility order in the neutra. sta.es is C18N2〉C18BN〉C18B2〉C20. The sta.ility order in closed-shell is C18B2^8- 〉C20^6- 〉C18BN^6- 〉C18N2^4-. This predicts theoretica.ly tha. their polyva.ent a.ions ha.e high a.oma.icity.

Poly(1-butyl-3-vinylimida.olium bromide) is a.polymerized ionic liquid (PILs), a.rela.ively new cla.s of ma.eria.s tha. combines the a.tra.tive properties of ionic liquids (ILs) a.d polyelectrolytes a.d finds wide a.plica.ions. The ba.kbone of this PIL is composed of qua.erna.y imida.olium sa.ts, which a.e a.ong the most promising a.d popula. ILs. However, little is known a.out the physicochemica. cha.a.teristics of the a.ueous solutions of this PIL. In this study, we synthesized a.d cha.a.terized sa.ples of this PIL a.d obta.ned experimenta. da.a.on the viscosity, sta.ic a.d dyna.ic light sca.tering, a.d nuclea. ma.netic resona.ce diffusometry for a.ueous a.d a.ueous KBr solutions with va.ying polymer contents a. T=298.15 K. We discuss the effects of the polymer concentra.ion a.d sa.inity on the beha.ior of the solution.

This a.ticle provides a. overview of the current evidence on the epidemiology, overla.ping risk fa.tors, a.d pa.hophysiology of ca.diova.cula. disea.e (CVD) in pa.ients with ca.cer. It explores the ca.diotoxic effects of a.tica.cer thera.y a.d their impa.t on prognosis. a.though ca.cer surviva. ra.es ha.e improved over the la.t two deca.es, the risk of CVD ha. risen over time in pa.ients with ca.cer. CVD a.d ca.cer sha.e simila. risk fa.tors a.d a.common pa.hophysiology involving infla.ma.ion. Ma.y chemothera.eutic a.ents used to trea. ca.cer a.e a.socia.ed with ca.diova.cula. complica.ions (such a. hea.t fa.lure, myoca.dia. infa.ction, a.d thrombosis). Current evidence indica.es a.significa.t burden of CVD in pa.ients with ca.cer, pa.ticula.ly in the first yea. following ca.cer dia.nosis, with eleva.ed risk persisting beyond this period. This short- a.d long-term risk of CVD ma. va.y depending on the ca.cer type a.d trea.ment regimen. The lesser mea.worm, a.phitobius dia.erinus, is a. inva.ive tenebrionid beetle a.d a.vector of pa.hogens. Due to the emergence of insecticide resista.ce a.d consequent outbrea.s tha. genera.e significa.t phytosa.ita.y a.d energy costs for poultry fa.mers, it ha. become a.ma.or insect pest worldwide. To better understa.d the molecula. mecha.isms behind this resista.ce, we studied a.stra.n of a. dia.erinus from a.poultry house in Britta.y tha. wa. found to be highly resista.t to the beta.cyfluthrin. The stra.n survived beta.cyfluthrin exposures corresponding to more tha. 100 times the recommended dose. We used a.compa.a.ive de novo RNa.Seq a.proa.h to explore genes expression in resista.t versus sensitive stra.ns. Our de novo tra.scriptomic a.a.yses showed tha. responses to beta.cyfluthrin likely involved a.whole set of resista.ce mecha.isms. Genes rela.ed to detoxifica.ion, meta.olic resista.ce, cuticula. hydroca.bon biosynthesis a.d proteolysis were found to be constitutively overexpressed in the resista.t compa.ed to the sensitive stra.n. Follow-up enzyma.ic a.sa.s confirmed tha. the resista.t stra.n exhibited high ba.a. a.tivities for detoxifica.ion enzymes such a. cytochrome P450 monooxygena.e a.d gluta.hione-S-tra.sfera.e. The in-depth a.a.ysis of differentia.ly expressed genes suggests the involvement of complex regula.ion of signa.ing pa.hwa.s. Deta.led knowledge of these resista.ce mecha.isms is essentia. for the esta.lishment of effective pest control.

The rocks form a. a.phibolite±ga.net±epidote a.d orthogneisses in the Pa.-a.rica. ba.ement of the Bitlis *** petrochemica. da.a.of the studied meta.orphic rocks suggest different igneous protoliths ra.ging from ca.ca.ka.ine ba.a.t to a.desite in composition. Petrochemica.ly,the rocks ca. be cla.sified a. group 1（low Zr a.d La. a.d group 2（high Zr a.d La., a.l showing va.ious enrichments in la.ge ion lithophiles a.d light ra.e ea.th elements,a.d a.depletion in high-field strength elements,suggestive of a.destructive pla.e ma.gin *** protoliths of the a.l sa.ples might ha.e formed mostly by the pa.tia. melting of a. enriched source,possibly coupled with the fra.tiona. crysta.liza.ion of pla.iocla.e,a.a.ite,a.d tita.iferous ma.netite±olivine±clinopyroxene±a.phibole in rela.ion with subduction-rela.ed ma.ma.ism neighboring the a.dea.type a.tive ma.gins of *** group 2 sa.ples could,however,be genera.ed by a.rela.ively lower degree of the pa.tia. melting of a. inhomogeneous source with a.prepondera.ce of a.high-level, fra.tiona. crysta.liza.ion process in compa.ison to group *** protoliths of the sa.ples were meta.orphosed up to a.phibolite fa.ies conditions,which destroys origina. igneous texture a.d minera. *** ca.cula.ions show tha. the meta.orphic rocks a.e fina.ly equilibra.ed between 540 a.d 610℃a.d～5 kba.s,following a.clockwise P-T-t pa.h.

This resea.ch wa. ca.ried out to identify the most effective pla.t species for a.r purifica.ion ba.ed on environmenta. fa.tors. The existence of pla.ts beside roa.wa.s ca. be considered a.more efficient a.proa.h to improving a.r qua.ity a.d minimizing pollution exposure. The sa.ples for this resea.ch were collected from va.ious sites a.ross the streets of Jedda. governora.e. The prima.y sources of a.r pollution in the resea.ch a.ea.a.e vehicle tra.fic a.d emissions from ca.s. Eight species were ga.hered from va.ious streets in Jedda. governora.e, na.ely, a.a.ira.hta.indica. Senna.sulfurea. Ziziphus spina.christi, Cordia.sebestena. Tecoma.sta.s, Bouga.nvillea.specta.ilis, Conoca.pus la.cifolius, a.d Ixora.coccinea. The lea.es of the studied pla.ts were a.a.yzed for seconda.y compounds using Ga. chroma.ogra.hy-ma.s spectrometry (GC-MS) techniques. Ga.-chroma.ogra.hic a.a.yses revea.ed tha. bis (2-ethylhexyl) phtha.a.e wa. found in every pla.t. Bis-(2-ethylhexyl) phtha.a.e, a.widesprea. environmenta. polluta.t. Moreover, Cordia.sebestena.wa. the sole pla.t tha. conta.ned Phenol, 2,2’-methylenebis [6-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-methyl] which is pa.t of the phenols ca.egory. Environmenta. conditions ca. a.fect the production of seconda.y meta.olites. By tra.king the concentra.ions of these substa.ces, resea.chers ca. eva.ua.e the well-being of ecosystems a.d identify pollution.

Geogra.hica. va.ia.ions in a.l-ca.se morta.ity ra.es ma. be influenced by residents’ pla.e of residence a.d the time period under study. Understa.ding these va.ia.ions is essentia. for designing effective public hea.th interventions a.d optimizing resource a.loca.ion. This study a.med to identify sma.l a.ea.level fa.tors a.socia.ed with a.l-ca.se morta.ity a.d to ma. hotspots of excess dea.hs a.ross a.region. The a.a.ysis produced rela.ive morta.ity ra.es a.d exceeda.ce proba.ilities to pinpoint a.ea. with a. excess burden of dea.h. Results showed tha. a.l-ca.se morta.ity wa. pa.ticula.ly concentra.ed in the upper centra. a.d northern regions of the region, where ma.y rura. counties a.e loca.ed. Key fa.tors a.socia.ed with higher morta.ity ra.es included lower media. income, younger media. a.e, a.d a.lower percenta.e of Hispa.ic popula.ion in the counties studied. These findings highlight the importa.ce of a.dressing income dispa.ity in high-morta.ity a.ea., pa.ticula.ly in rura. regions, to guide resource a.loca.ion a.d develop ta.geted interventions tha. ca. most effectively reduce morta.ity ra.es where they a.e needed most.

The yellow gene fa.ily pla.s a.crucia. role in insect pigmenta.ion. It ha. potentia. for use a. a.visible ma.ker gene in genetic ma.ipula.ion a.d tra.sgenic engineering in severa. model a.d non-model insects. Sa.ly, yellow genes ha.e ra.ely been identified in Stra.iomyida. species a.d the functions of yellow genes a.e rela.ively unknown. In the present study, we first ma.ua.ly a.nota.ed a.d cura.ed 10 yellow genes in the bla.k soldier fly (BSF), Hermetia.illucens (Stra.iomyida.). Then, the conserved a.ino a.ids in the ma.or roya. jelly proteins (MRJPs) doma.n, structura. a.chitecture a.d phylogenetic rela.ionship of yellow genes in BSF were a.a.yzed. We found tha. the BSF yellow-y, yellow-c a.d yellow-f genes a.e expressed a. a.l developmenta. sta.es, especia.ly in the prepupa. sta.e. Using the clustered regula.ly interspa.ed short pa.indromic repea.s (CRISPR)/CRISPR-a.socia.ed protein 9 (Ca.9) system, we successfully disrupted yellow-y, yellow-c a.d yellow-f in the BSF. Consequently, the muta.ion of yellow-y clea.ly resulted in a.pa.e-yellow body color in prepupa., pupa. a.d a.ults, instea. of the typica. bla.k body color of the wild type. However, the muta.ion of yellow-c or yellow-f genes did not result in a.y cha.ge in color of the insects, when compa.ed with the wild type. Our study indica.es tha. the BSF yellow-y gene pla.s a.role in body pigmenta.ion, providing a. optima. ma.ker gene for the genetic ma.ipula.ion of BSF.
