BACkGROUNd Pre-clinical simulation-based training(SBT)in endoscopy has been shown to augment trainee performance in the short-term,but longer-term data are *** To assess the impact of a two-day gastroscopy induction course combining theory and SBT(Structured PRogramme of INduction and Training–SPRINT)on trainee outcomes over a 16-mo *** This prospective case-control study compared outcomes between novice SPRINT attendees and controls matched from a United.k.ngdom training *** outcomes comprised:(1)Unassisted d2 intubation rates;(2)Procedural discomfort scores;(3)Sedation practice;(4)Time to 200 procedures;and(5)Time to *** Total 15 cases and 24 controls were included,with mean procedure counts of 10 and 3(P=0.739)***-SPRINT,no significant differences between the groups were detected in long-term d2 intubation rates(P=0.332)or discomfort scores(P=0.090).However,the cases had a significantly higher rate of unsedated procedures than controls post-SPRINT(58%vs 44%,P=0.018),which was maintained over the subsequent 200 *** tended to perform procedures at a greater frequency than controls in the post-SPRINT period(median:16.2 vs 13.8 per mo,P=0.051),resulting in a significantly greater proportion of cases achieving gastroscopy certification by the end of follow up(75% vs 36%,P=0.017).CONCLUSION In this pilot study,attendees of the SPRINT cohort tended to perform more procedures and achieved gastroscopy certification earlier than *** data support the role for wider evaluation of pre-clinical induction involving SBT.

The Pb isotope composition of the upper mantle beneath Central Europe is heterogeneous due to the subduction of regionally contrasting material during the Variscan and Alpine *** Variscan to Cenozoic mantlederived melts allow mapping this heterogeneity on a regional scale for the last ca.340 *** Cretaceous and Cenozoic anorogenic magmatic rocks of the Bohemian Massif(lamprophyres,volcanic rocks of basanite/tephrite and trachyte/phonolite series) concentrate mostly in the Eger *** ultramafic lamprophyres yielded the most radiogenic Pb isotope signatures reflecting a maximum contribution from metasomatised lithospheric mantle,whereas Tertiary alkaline lamprophyres originated from mantle with less radiogenic ^(206)Pb/^(204)b ratios suggesting a more substantial modification of lithospheric source by interaction with asthenosphericderived *** volcanic rocks of the basanite/tephrite and trachyte/phonolite series define a linear mixing trend between these components,indicating dilution of the initial lithospheric mantle signature by upwelling asthenosphere during *** Pb isotope composition of Late Cretaceous and Cenozoic magmatic rocks of the Bohemian Massif follows the same Pb growth curve as Variscan orogenic lamprophyres and lamproites that formed during the collision between Laurussia,Gondwana,and associated *** implies that the crustal Pb signature in the post-Variscan mantle is repeatedly sampled by younger anorogenic *** Cenozoic mantle-derived rocks of Central Europe show similar Pb isotope ranges as the Bohemian Massif.

Hydropower production is one of the greatest threats to fluvial ecosystems and freshwater *** that we have entered the Anthropocene,there is an opportunity to reflect on what might constitute a‘sustainable’Anthropocene in the context of hydropower and riverine fish *** elements of existing practices that promote favorable social-ecological outcomes(i.e.,‘bright spots’)is timely given that there are plans to expand hydropower capacity in previously undammed rivers,intensify dam development in some of the world's largest river systems,and re-license existing *** approach this from a pragmatic perspective:for the foreseeable future,hydropower will likely remain an important source of renewable *** offer support for moving toward a more‘sustainable’Anthropocene,we provide syntheses of best practices during the siting,design,construction,operation,and compensation phases of hydropower development to minimize impacts on inland *** each phase,we offer positive examples(or what might be considered‘bright spots’)pertaining to some of the approaches described within our syntheses,acknowledging that these projects may not be viewed as without ecological and(or)societal detriment by all *** findings underscore the importance of protecting critical habitat and free-flowing river reaches through careful site selection and basinscale planning,infrastructure designs that minimize reservoir effects and facilitate safe passage of fish,construction of hydropower plants using best practices that minimize long-term damage,operating guidelines that mimic natural flow conditions,and compensation that is lasting,effective,inclusive,and locally *** from these‘bright spots’may require engagement of diverse stakeholders,professionals,and governments at scales that extend well beyond a given site,river,or even ***,environmental planning that integrates hydropower development into broader discussions

Microporous carbons have found numerous applications in the areas of chemistry, chemical engineering and materials science due to their potential for use in separation and storage of *** activated carbons are an example of a disordered microporous *** have found widespread use in industry due to their low production cost and high adsorption *** Co.’s bituminous coal-based carbon(BPL) is among the most widely studied and has been used extensively in environmental applications as an adsorbent for the removal of toxic and odorous industrial *** the Hybrid Reverse Monte Carlo method,Palmer et *** recently developed a morphologically realistic model of BPL,that successfully predicts the adsorptive properties of the real material. A second class of materials which has had recent interest are carbon templates of silica materials such as MCM-41,SBA-15 or various *** type of material is inherently highly ordered.A carbon replica of the zeolite Faujasite(C-FAU) has shown potential application in the areas of hydrogen storage and in the development of hydrogen fuel cells. Using a mimetic Grand Canonical Monte Carlo templating process,Roussel et *** modeled C-FAU and compared its structural and adsorptive properties with experiment. Using microcanonical molecular dynamics simulations,we compare the self-diffusion of fluids confined in the model BPL and C-FAU and show that the microporous features of the materials lead to multi-modal diffusion *** also compare to the diffusion of fluids in a carbon nanotube(CNT) bundle,which has distinct bimodal diffusion,with Fickian diffusion occurring inside the CNTs and single-file diffusion occurring in *** show that the diffusion of fluids in the ordered(C-FAU) and disordered(BPL) microprous carbons possess both slower(quasi-single-file) and faster(Fickian) diffusion modes.

在很多领域中，识别错误的检测是一项重要的工作，比如进一步提高检测识别的性能，节约阅读校对和修改、编辑需要的人工劳动，以及在构造数字图书馆时为检索分配合适的权重等。本文提出一种用于多分类器检测识别错误的新方法。采用单一分类器和单一门限的检测方法，并不能提高检测识别错误的能力，因此需要使用多分类器。虽然一个分类器无法提高检测识别错误的能力，但它提供了比较的基线，相关的错误检测其有用特征的学习表明了可以提供三种不同的情况。在每一种情况中，多分类器分别分配一个分类器检测是否有错误，并且考虑每种情况的额外特征。实验结果表明，识别错误的回现率为70％-80％，识别错误的检测精确率为80％-90％，比使用单一分类器和单一门限检测方法具有更好的效果，能节省75％的人工劳动。
