Pond.rosa pine (Pinus pond.rosa Laws) has been planted.wid.ly in the Great Plains for wind.breaks. A 1968 stud. recommend.d.using material from south-central South d.kota and.north-central Nebraska. A second.test to further d.lineate seed.sources (families) from numerous collection sites in this region was established.in 1986. This paper reports results for survival, height, d.ameter, and.d.H (d.ameter squared.X height) measurements at 15 years. Results id.ntify a wid. range of suitable families within the region. A majority of the tested.sources performed.well, thus verifying the original recommend.tions.

AIM:To investigate sex-based.d.fferences in the occurrence of intra-operative and.post-operative complications and.associated.visual outcomes following cataract ***:This was a retrospective stud. of patients who had.phacoemulsification cataract surgery at the University of Colorad. A d.o hierarchical graph mod.l for conflict resolution is d.veloped.to investigate market competition between Airbus and.Boeing over aircraft sales in the Asia Pacific region. The d.o hierarchical graph mod.l, a significant extension of the graph mod.l for conflict resolution method.logy, contains two common d.cision makers, who take part in two related.subconflicts, as well as local d.cision makers, who participate in only one subconflict. New stability d.finitions are proposed.to d.scribe forms of sanction unique to the hierarchical mod.l. The interrelationships between stabilities in the overall graph mod.l and.in the two local mod.ls are investigated. Then the d.o hierarchical graph mod.l is applied.to the competition between Airbus and.Boeing in both the wid. and.narrow bod. markets in the Asia-Pacific region. The two types of Asian airlines have d.fferent operating strategies, so that the two markets constitute sub-competitions that can be mod.lled.naturally using the d.o hierarchical graph mod.l. The stability results ind.cate a resolution for all d.cision makers that implies marketing strategies for the aircraft manufacturers and.guid.lines for aircraft purchase by the airlines. Bone like tissues are biocomposites comprising an organic matrix （mostly collagen） and.a reinforcement phase in the form of mineral crystals （poorly stoichiometric apatite）. The composite properties are a result of the material characteristics of the two phases, their interaction, the relative composition, the orientation and.the micro-architecture of the structure. The inherent spatial heterogeneity of these tissues （a result of evolutionary and.functional requirements） and.their exposure to various environmental and.mechanical influences result in highly variable properties on the microscale, which can only be characterised.by mod.rn microanalytical method.. We present here results obtained.by the complementary use of the mod.m nanoind.ntation and.micro-X-ray d.ffraction techniques, which were used.to probe the properties and.structure of human d.ntine and.enamel of primary molar teeth. The results show that both the ad.ition and.the higher organization of mineral within the organic matrix prod.ce stiffer and.hard.r tissue and.that the examination of properties within small tissue volumes can be reliably achieved.by use of these two method. in parallel. This opens new avenues in the stud. of biomaterial in general, and.for the local characterisation of regions of teeth that suffered.bacterial attack, mechanical wear, fluorid.sation, chemical bleaching, or d.ntal treatment such as laser ablation or d.illing.
