This study aims to predict the undrained shear strength of remolded soil samples using non-linear regression analyses,fuzzy logic,and artificial neural network modeling.A total of 1306 undrained shear strength results from 230 different remolded soil test settings reported in 21 publications were collected,utilizing six different measurement *** water content,plastic limit,and liquid limit were used as input parameters for fuzzy logic and artificial neural network modeling,liquidity index or water content ratio was considered as an input parameter for non-linear regression *** non-linear regression analyses,12 different regression equations were derived for the prediction of undrained shear strength of remolded ***-Forward backpropagation and the TANSIG transfer function were used for artificial neural network modeling,while the mamdani inference system was preferred with trapezoidal and triangular membership functions for fuzzy logic *** experimental results of 914 tests were used for training of the artificial neural network models,196 for validation and 196 for *** was observed that the accuracy of the artificial neural network and fuzzy logic modeling was higher than that of the non-linear regression ***,a simple and reliable regression equation was proposed for assessments of undrained shear strength values with higher coefficients of determination.

Oil blending is the method of choice used worldwide to improve oxidative stability and nutritional *** is no such edible oil/fat that meets all the recommendations from the health point of *** fatty acid composition of vegetable oils decides the fate of the *** single oil is unable to provide a balanced amount of fatty acids(FAs)required/recommended on a daily intake *** oils/fats is an appropriate procedure of physically mixing multiple oils in suitable proportions which may provide functional lipids with improved antioxidant potential and desirable physical and chemical *** review piled up the accessible data on the blending of diverse oils/fats in the combination of binary,ternary,quaternary,or other types of oils into a single blended *** can be found very convincing towards appropriate FA profile,enhancement in physicochemical characteristics,and augmented stability for the period of storage or when used as cooking/frying processes which could ultimately serve as an effectual dietary intervention towards the health protectiveness.

Powdery mildew(Pm)caused by Podosphaera aphanis is a major fungal disease of cultivated *** Resistance Locus O(mLO)is a gene family described for having conserved seven-transmembrane *** loss-of-function in specific mLO genes can confer durable and broad resistance against Pm ***,the genomic structure and potential role of mLO genes for Pm resistance have not been characterized yet in the octoploid cultivated *** the present study,mLO gene families were characterized in four diploid progenitor species(Fragaria vesca,***,***,and ***)and octoploid cultivated(Fragaria×ananassa)strawberry,and potential sources of mLO-mediated susceptibility were *** mLO sequences were identified in *** and 68 identified in F.×*** analysis divided diploid and octoploid strawberry mLO genes into eight different clades,in which three FvemLO(mLO10,mLO17,and mLO20)and their twelve orthologs of FamLO were grouped together with functionally characterized mLO genes conferring Pm *** number variations revealed differences in mLO composition among homoeologous chromosomes,supporting the distinct origin of each subgenome during the evolution of octoploid *** genomic sequence and structural variations in candidate FamLO genes revealed their potential role associated with genetic controls and functionality in strawberry against Pm ***,the gene expression profiling and RNAi silencing of putative FamLO genes in response to the pathogen indicate the function in Pm *** results are a critical first step in understanding the function of strawberry mLO genes and will facilitate further genetic studies of Pm resistance in cultivated strawberry.

In this article, using generalized weighted mean and difference matrix of order m, we introduce the paranormed sequence space l（u, v, p; △（m））, which consist of the sequences whose generalized weighted △（m）-difference means are in the linear space l（p） defined by ***. Also, we determine the basis of this space and compute its α-, β- and γ-duals. Further, we give the characterization of the classes of matrix mappings from l（u, v, p, △（m）） to l∞, c, and co. Finally, we apply the Hausdorff measure of noncompacness to characterize some classes of compact operators given by matrices on the space lp（U, v, △（m））（1 ≤ p 〈 ∞）.

Gasoline-powered motorcycles contribute disproportionately to traffic noise and emissions,so motorcycle electrification merits *** advances in battery efficiency allow electric motorcycles(EmCs)to join electric cars and bicycles as a viable consumer *** study quantifies noise and emissions using both simulations and experimental data,examines the factors that make motorcycles big offender and uses popular EmC makes and models to estimate the costs and benefits of electrification in the *** produce more CO,CH4,NOx,HC and particulate matter per vehicle-mile travelled than passenger *** to limited regulation of motorcycles and weak enforcement,the perceived noise level of motorcycles exceeds that of most other vehicles,being roughly double those of automobiles at speeds of over 30 mph and surpassing even those of medium trucks and buses at speeds of over 50 mph,at which point motorcycles exceeds the 80 dBA US standard *** can resolve such issues,although range limitations and high prices are presently a barrier to widespread *** order to realize these environmental benefits,it is important that electrification occurs with a corresponding shift away from coal as an energy *** emission regulations and stronger enforcement of existing prohibitions on certain forms of customization could also reduce the outlier status of gasoline-powered motorcycles.
