Protein-protein interactions(PPls)play a crucial role in drug discovery and disease ***,the development of effective drugs targeting PPls remains challenging due to limited methodologies for probing their spatiotemporal ***,we propose a single-molecule approach using a unique force circuit to investigate Ppl dynamics and anisotropy under mechanical *** conventional techniques,this approach enables the manipulation and real-time monitoring of individual proteins at specific amino acids with defined geometry,offering insights into molecular mechanisms at the single-molecule *** DNA force circuit was constructed using click chemistry conjugation methods and genetic code expansion techniques,facilitating orthogonal conjugation between proteins and nucleic *** SET domain of the MLL1 protein and the tail of histone H3 were used as a model system to demonstrate the application of the DNA force *** the use of atomic force microscopy and magnetic tweezers,optimized assembly procedures were *** DNA force circuit provides an exceptional platform for studying the anisotropy of PPis and holds promise for advancing drug discovery research targeted at PPIs.

Though there are numerous intrinsic merits of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),low charge separation efficiency has imposed heavy restrictions on their photocatalytic ***,in situ porphyrin ligand substitution,as a strategy for improving the charge separation efficiency and increasing the amounts of active sites,has been designed and realized in a Hf-biphenyl dicarboxylic acid(BPDC)***,a size and geometry matched meso-tetra(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin(TCPP)ligand was selected and doped into Hf-BPDC MOF by forming coordinating bonds with Hf centers,forming dualligand Hf-BPDC-TCPP *** resultant Hf-BPDC-TCPP MOF showed significantly improved activity and chemical stability in the photocatalytic H_(2)generation(261μmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1))and tetracycline(TC)degradation reactions(95.8%),which was 48 and 1.47 folds higher than that of the Hf-BPDC *** and electrochemical studies revealed that the introduction of porphyrin ligand could generate a stronger internal electric field for boosting the charge separation and transfer,increase the specific surface area for providing more active sites,and narrow the band gap to enhance the visible light *** in situ ligand substitution method provides a promising approach to build a tunable platform for constructing high-performance MOF photocatalysts.

Method for the navigation line recognition of the ridge without crops via machine vision

The assembly of exogenous artificial architectures inside cells can regulate a series of biological events,which heavily relies on the development of spatiotemporally controlled molecular assembly *** herein report a designer deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA)nanostructure that enables light-mediated spatiotemporally dynamic assembly in living cells and consequently achieves efficient regulation of cell *** DNA nanostructure was constructed from i-motif moiety-containing branched DNA,photocleavable bond-containing linker,and tumor cell-targeting *** cellular uptake mediated by aptamers,under the spatiotemporal control of both UV light and late endosomal/lysosomal acidic environments,disassembly/reassembly of DNA nanostructure occurred via two rationally designed routes,generating microsized DNA *** a result,autophagy was significantly enhanced with the increase of DNA assembly *** enhanced autophagy showed an impact on related biological *** system is expected to be a powerful tool for the regulation of intracellular events and cellular behaviors.

Global warming is causing glaciers to retreat and glacial lakes to expand in the Himalayas,which amplifies the risk of glacial lake outburst debris flows(GLODFs)and poses a significant threat to downstream lives and ***,the complex interplay between GLODF occurrences and associated indicators,coupled with the lack of a comprehensive susceptibility indicator system that considers the entire GLODF process,presents a substantial challenge in assessing GLODF susceptibility in the *** study proposes a process-driven GLODF susceptibility assessment indicator system responding to climate change that considers the complete process of GLODF formation,incorporating relevant parameters about upstream,themselves,and downstream of glacial ***,to mitigate subjective factors associated with traditional evaluation methods,we developed three novel hybrid machine-learning models by integrating classic machine-learning algorithms with the whale optimization algorithm(WOA)to delineate the distribution of GLODF susceptibility in the *** the hybrid models effectively predicted the GLODFs occurrence,with the WOA-SVC model demonstrating the highest prediction *** 34%of the catchments exhibit high and very high susceptibility levels,primarily concentrated along the north and south sides of the Himalayan ridge,particularly in the eastern and central *** capturing the physical formation process of hazards,such as topographic potential(highest relative importance value of 40%),can precisely identify GLODF.A total of 128 catchments pose potential transboundary threats,with 24 classified as having a very high susceptibility level and 25 as having a high susceptibility ***,the border region between China and Nepal is a prominent hotspot for transboundary threats of *** findings can provide valuable clues for disaster prevention,mitigation,and cross-border coordination in the Himalayas.

Three-dimensional(3D)phononic topological insulators(TIs)featuring two-dimensional(2D)surface states and one-dimensional(1D)hinge states have opened up a new route for multi-dimensional robust wave transport,providing unprecedented methods for integrated acoustic sensors and energy harvesting ***,aiming at the elastic 3D phononic TI with gapless surface states and hinge states,the realization of elastic 3D phononic TIs with gapless surface states and hinge states is a significant challenge due to the complicated multi-mode polarization of elastic waves in 3D *** this study,we demonstrate an elastic 3D phononic TI with a Dirac hierarchy by elaborately operating the corresponding spatial symmetries of the chiral honeycomb ***,a 3D double Dirac cone of elastic wave can be achieved by doubling the lattice along the outof-plane direction to fold two iso-frequency Weyl *** topological phase transitions and 2D gapless two-fold Dirac surface states of elastic wave are realized by breaking the half-lattice spatial translation ***,based on the Brillouin zone folding along the in-plane direction,the 2D gapless two-fold surface Dirac cones are folded into four-fold surface Dirac ***,by inducing the relative radius of adjacent holes to break the in-plane spatial inversion symmetry,the fourfold surface Dirac cones are gapped and associated with a surface state inversion,in which the gapless 1D hinge Dirac dispersion is *** research offers a route for engineering the hierarchies of TIs in 3D elastic wave systems and provides new possibilities for designing 3D ultrasonic devices with unconventional functions.

Effect of titanium on the wettability between Fe-P-Ti alloy and Al2O3 substrate

It is of significance that the wettability between the molten alloy and the Al2O3affects the inclusion removal,nozzle clogging and refractory erosion. In the present work, the wettability between the Al2O3substrate and Fe–P–Ti alloys with different Ti content was investigated by using the sessile droplets method. The interfacial characteristics were investigated by scanning electron microscope（SEM）. The contact angles between the sintered Al2O3substrate and Fe–P–Ti alloys with 0, 0.05, 0.10 and 0.15 wt% Ti are 100.1°, 97.3°, 94.5°and 90.5°,respectively. The oxidation of [Al] and [Ti] in the molten alloys leads to the formation of the oxides on the droplets. With the increase of Ti content in the Fe–P–Ti alloys, the formed oxides change from Al2O3to Ticontaining oxides. The reaction between [Ti] and Al2O3substrate in the interface results in the formation of Ti-containing oxides. The quantity of the interfacial oxides increases with the increase of Ti content in the *** a result, the synergetic effect of the formation of the interfacial products and the oxides on the surface of droplets leads to the decrease of the contact angles between the Al2O3substrate and Fe–P–Ti alloys due to the increase of Ti content.

Spatio-temporal Variation Characteristics of Extreme Climate Events and Their Teleconnections to Large-scale Ocean-atmospheric Circulation Patterns in huaihe River Basin,China During 1959–2019

huaihe River Basin(HRB) is located in China’s north-south climatic transition zone,which is very sensitive to global climate *** on the daily maximum temperature,minimum temperature,and precipitation data of 40 meteorological stations and nine monthly large-scale ocean-atmospheric circulation indices data during 1959–2019,we present an assessment of the spatial and temporal variations of extreme temperature and precipitation events in the HRB using nine extreme climate indices,and analyze the teleconnection relationship between extreme climate indices and large-scale ocean-atmospheric circulation *** results show that warm extreme indices show a significant(P < 0.05) increasing trend,while cold extreme indices(except for cold spell duration) and diurnal temperature range(DTR) show a significant decreasing ***,all extreme temperature indices show significant mutations during ***,a stronger warming trend occurs in eastern HRB than western HRB,while maximum 5-d precipitation(Rx5day) and rainstorm days(R25) show an increasing trend in the southern,central,and northwestern regions of *** oscillation(AO),Atlantic multidecadal oscillation(AMO),and East Atlantic/Western Russia(EA/WR) have a stronger correlation with extreme climate indices compared to other circulation *** and AMO(EA/WR) exhibit a significant(P < 0.05) negative(positive)correlation with frost days and diurnal temperature *** warm events are strongly correlated with the variability of AMO and EA/WR in most parts of HRB,while extreme cold events are closely related to the variability of AO and AMO in eastern *** contrast,AMO,AO,and EA/WR show limited impacts on extreme precipitation events in most parts of HRB.
