Hydatid disease(HD)is an accidental human parasitic infestation by cestodes and is most commonly caused by Echinococcus *** happens to be the most common site of involvement,although involvement of other organ symptoms is not *** of the retrovesical pouch by hydatidosis is generally secondary in nature with an incidence of 0.1%-0.5%*** retrovesical hydatid cyst(RVHC)is extremely rare with only few cases in existing *** can present with a wide gamut of symptoms ranging from asymptomatic to obstructive uropathy.A 38-year-old male presented to us with complaints of lower urinary tract symptoms(LUTS)and was found to have an isolated primary retrovesical hydatid cyst on *** RVHC had compressed the right ureter leading to a grossly hydronephrotic non-functional right *** patient was started on albendazole therapy and underwent robot assisted right nephroureterectomy and partial pericystectomy for the *** postoperative period was uneventful with resolution of *** report highlights the various clinical presentations of RVHC as well as the minimal invasive management of this rare entity.

The increasing rate of private car usage in the urban areas as a result of fast-growing economy,derelict policies and subsidies are the main causes making car parking one of the main concerns for transport and traffic management all over the *** coordination between parking policies and traffic management revealed how parking is becoming a barrier to the through-traffic ***,it is responsible for the inefficient use of available resources,even the decisions are made on an ad-hoc basis while making ***,it is necessary to understand the parking choice behaviour and actual demand of parking *** the last three decades,ample studies have been done to evaluate parking characteristics,to estimate the demand for parking and on driver’s behaviour while choosing the parking *** paper integrates all these aspects and presents the state-of-the-art review of models and studies on the parking *** related to and due to the parking,various parking characteristics and their applications,parking choice behaviour of drivers,development of demand models considering various factors and review of parking policies as an integral part of the urban transport system are discussed in *** underdeveloped,authors found the literatures suggest that greater attention should be given to metrics like ease of access,walk time,parking charges,parking guidance and information system,management,etc.,at all stages of planning and policy *** together,mentioned studies demonstrate useful information concerning the entire parking *** also provides useful information to the planners and policy makers for planning,designing and evaluating parking system.

Quantitation of tadalafil in human plasma using a sensitive and rapid LC-mS/mS method for a bioequivalence study

A highly sensitive liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry（LC-mS/mS） method was developed for the determination of tadalafil（TAD） in human plasma. TAD and its deuterated internal standard（IS）, tadalafil-d3, were extracted from 200 mL plasma using Phenomenex Strata-X-C 33 m extraction cartridges. Chromatographic analysis was carried out on Synergi Hydro-RP C18（100 mm × 4.6 mm, 4 mm）column with a mobile phase consisting of methanol and 10 m m ammonium formate, p H 4.0（90：10, v/v）,delivered at a flow rate of 0.9 m L/min. Quantitation of the protonated analyte was done on a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer using multiple reaction monitoring via electrospray ionization. The precursor to product ions transitions monitored for TAD and TAD-d3 were m/z 390.3-268.2 and m/z393.1-271.2, respectively. The calibration curve was linear over the concentration range of 0.50–500 ng/m L with correlation coefficient, r2 Z 0.9994. Acceptable intra-batch and inter-batch precision（r3.7%） and accuracy（97.8% to 104.1%） were obtained at five concentration levels. The recovery of TAD from spiked plasma was highly precise and quantitative（98.95% to 100.61%）. Further, the effect of endogenous matrix components was minimal. TAD was found to be stable under different storage conditions in human plasma and also in whole blood samples. The validated method was successfully used to determine TAD plasma concentration in a bioequivalence study with 20 mg TAD tablets in 24 healthy volunteers. method performance was evaluated by reanalyzing 115 study samples.

A highly sensitive, rapid and rugged liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometw （LC-ESI-mS/mS） method was developed for reliable estimation of amantadine （AmD）, an antiviral drug in human plasma. The analyte and internal standard （IS）, amantadine-d6 （AmD-d6）, were extracted from 200μL plasma by solid phase extraction on Phenomenex Strata-X-C 33 ~t cartridges. Chromatography was performed on Synergi^Tm Hydro-RP C18 （150 mm×4.6 mm, 4 μm） analytical column using a mixture of acetonitrile and 10 mm ammonium formate, pH 3.0 （80：20, v/v） as the mobile phase. Detection and quantitation was done by multiple reaction monitoring in the positive ionization mode for AmD （m/z 152.1→ 135.1 ） and IS （m/z 158.0 → 141.1） on a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer. The assay was linear in the concentration range of 0.50-500 ng/mL with correlation coefficient （r^2）〉 0.9969. The limit of detection of the method was 0.18 ng/mL The intra-batch and inter-batch precisions were 〈 5.42% and the accuracy varied from 98.47% to 105.72%. The extraction recovery of amantadine was precise and quantitative in the range of 97.89%-100.28%. IS-normalized matrix factors for amantadine varied from 0.981 to 1.012. The stability of AmD in whole blood and plasma was evaluated under different conditions. The developed method was successfully applied for a bioequivalence study with 100 mg of AmD in 32 healthy volunteers. The reproducibility of the assay was determined by reanalysis of 134 subject samples.

Brassinosteroids (BRs) are a family of about 70 structurally related polyhydroxy steroidal phytohormones that regulate a number of physiological processes in plants. Among these, brassinolide (BL), 28-homobrassinolide (28-homoBL) and 24-epibrassinolide (24-EpiBL) are more common. The present study aims at studying the usefulness of 24-epiBL in ameliorating the impacts of heat-stress in maize along with its role in regulating cellular antioxidant defense system. maize hybrid PmH 3 was grown in pots in a green house maintained at 14 hours day (25℃)/10hours night (17℃). A solution of 24-epiBL (1 μm) was applied externally at V4 stage. Leaf tissues were sampled from both treated and control plants. Subsequently, both the groups of pots were placed in plant growth chamber maintained at high temperature (48℃;RH 50%). Plants were sampled for biochemical analysis after 3, 6, 9, 24 and 48 hours of high temperature exposure. Exogenous application of 24-EpiBL arrested protein degradation and enhanced cell membrane stability, as compared to the control. The biochemical activities of antioxidant enzymes such as catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and peroxidase (POX) were found to be dynamically and variably modulated post 24-epiBL treatment. Thus, the study supports the role of BRs as anti-stress agents.

Lipid-lowering and antioxidant activities of a hydroalcoholic extract of Cyperus scariosus Linn. root(HCS) were evaluated in guinea pigs fed with a high cholesterol diet. Serum lipid profile(total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL-C, VLDL-C, and HDL-C), atherogenic indices and serum enzymes(ALT, AST, ALP, LDH, and CK-mB) were performed in each group at 0 days and at the end of 60 days. Histological study of liver and kidney was done in groups 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7. The total phenolic and flavonoid content in HCS and its antioxidant activity were evaluated by the DPPH assay. Both doses of HCS decreased serum lipid profile and atherogenic indices(P mmunosuppressive and antioxidant properties, and mays have value in atherosclerosis prevention. The higher dose of HCS also reduced serum AST, ALP, and LDH levels and rosuvastatin increased AST and ALP levels(P mulation and improvement in hepatocytes in HCStreated animals. The antioxidant activity of HCS may be responsible for its lipid lowering and cytoprotective action. HCS had significant lipid lowering and antioxidant activity, which; may be due to the phenolic compounds. HCS may be a safe and cost effective alternative to current statin therapy for patients with dyslipidaemia.

Surface tension of fluids is crucial for multiphase systems and is often controlled during industrial processes by introducing surfactants. In this study, effect of various microwave radiation modes on surface tension of water was investigated as an alternative physical method to manipulate the surface tension without using chemicals. It is found that surface tension decreased quickly while temperature increased during microwave. Once the radiation was turned off, the temperature returned rapidly as expected. However, surface tension did not recover so much. The minimum surface tension after microwave radiation depended on the power. moreover, a second radiation can have additional reduction on surface tension.
