The rich chemical constituents and diverse pharmacological properties of Ramulus Mori(RM) or the twig of Morus alba with evidence supported by clinical trials and patents are reviewed. Known as Sangzhi in Chinese, RM is widely used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat gout, arthritis, and rheumatism. Chemical constituents include flavonoids, benzofurans, alkaloids, stilbenes, chalcones, phenolic acids, and coumarins. Bioactivities of RM include antidiabetic, anti-obesity, anti-inflammatory, antityrosinase, neuroprotective, antioxidant, hepatoprotective, cytoprotective, renoprotective, antihyperuricemic, analgesic, antifungal, DNA protective, anticancer, gastroprotective, cardioprotective, anti-hair aging, anti-arthritic, and antiplatelet aggregation properties. The most active compounds from RM are mulberrin, oxyresveratrol, and mulberroside A. All four clinical trials on RM are focused on the treatment of diabetes. The patents entail using RM extracts as cosmetics for skin whitening and as agents for hypoglycemia. Topics for further research on RM are suggested.

The decay of Higgs boson into two spin-1/2 particles provides an ideal system to reveal quantum entanglement and *** e^(+)e^(-) colliders can improve the measurement accuracy of the spin correlation of tau lepton pairs from Higgs boson *** show the testability of Bell inequality through h→ττ at Circular Electron Positron Collider(CEPC).Two realistic methods of testing Bell inequality are investigated,i.e.,Törnqvist's method and Clauser-Home-Shimony-Holt(CHSH)*** the simulation,we consider the detector effects of CEPC including uncertainties for tracks and jets from Z boson in the production of e^(+)e^(-)→*** reconstruction approaches are described to measure quantum entanglement between τ^(+) and τ^(-).Finally,we show the sensitivity of CEPC to Bell inequality violation for the two methods.

Benefiting from the rapid development of environmental DNA(eDNA) technologies, sedimentary DNA(sedDNA)emerges as a promising tool for monitoring plant compositions in remote regions. The Tibetan Plateau(TP), renowned for its harsh environment and numerous ponds and lakes, presents a potentially demanding region for the application of sedDNA on vegetation investigations. Here, we used the g and h universal primers for the P6 loop region of the chloroplast trn L(UAA)intron to amplify plant DNA in surface sediments from 59 ponds and small lakes on the southwestern TP. The applicability and limitations of using plant DNA metabarcoding for modern vegetation monitoring and palaeo-vegetation reconstructions have been assessed by comparing sedDNA, pollen, and vegetation survey data. Our results showed that plant DNA metabarcoding recorded 186 terrestrial taxa, of which 30.1% can be identified at the species level. The plant sedDNA approach can effectively disclose the dominant plant taxa(including Asteraceae, Cyperaceae and Poaceae) and significant vegetation assemblages in the vicinity of the investigated sites. The number of taxa and taxonomic resolution of plant sedDNA exceeded that of pollen analysis(75 taxa detected, 5.3% can be identified at species level). Unlike pollen that retains a broad spectrum of regional plant signals(including Pinus and Artemisia), plant sedDNA mirrors very local plants, underscoring its utility in local vegetation monitoring and reconstructions. To conclude, plant DNA metabarcoding of(small) lake sediments warrant increased attention in the future for local vegetation monitoring and reconstructions on the TP.

The highly conserved CLV–WUS negative feedback pathway plays a decisive role in regulating stem cell maintenance in shoot and floral meristems in higher plants,including Arabidopsis,rice,maize,and ***,we find significant natural variations in the OsCLV2c,OsCLV2d,and OsCRN1 loci in a genome-wide association study of grain shape in ***2a,OsCLV2c,OsCLV2d,and OsCRN1 negatively regulate grain length–width ratio and show distinctive geographical distribution,indica–japonica differentiation,and artificial selection ***,OsCLV2a and OsCRN1 interact biochemically and genetically,suggesting that the two components function in a complex to regulate grain shape of ***,the genetic contributions of the haplotypes combining OsCLV2a,OsCLV2c,and OsCRN1 are significantly higher than those of each single gene alone in controlling key yield *** findings identify two groups of receptor-like kinases that may function as distinct co-receptors to control grain size in rice,thereby revealing a previously unrecognized role of the CLV class genes in regulating seed development and proposing a framework to understand the molecular mechanisms of the CLV–WUS pathway in rice and other crops.

Related-key model is a favourable approach to improve attacks on block ciphers with a simple key ***,to the best of our knowledge,there are a few results in which zero-correlation linear attacks take advantage of the related-key *** ascribe this phenomenon to the lack of consideration of the key input in zerocorrelation linear *** on the linear key schedule of a block cipher,we generalize the zero-correlation linear attack by using a related-key ***,we propose the creation of generalized linear hulls(GLHs)when the key input is involved;moreover,we indicate the links between GLHs and conventional linear hulls(CLHs).Then,we prove that the existence of zero-correlation GLHs is completely determined by the corresponding CLHs and the linear key *** addition,we introduce a method to construct zero-correlation GLHs by CLHs and transform them into an integral *** correctness is verified by applying it to SIMON16/16,a SIMON-like toy *** on our method,we find 12/13/14/15/15/17/20/22-round related-key zero-correlation linear distinguishers of SIMON32/64,SIMON48/72,SIMON48/96,SIMON64/96,SIMON64/128,SIMON96/144,SIMON128/192 and SIMON 128/256,*** far as we know,these distinguishers are one,two,or three rounds longer than current best zero-correlation linear distinguishers of SIMON.

Deubiquitinases(DUBs)are a class of enzymes that are able to reverse the process of ubiquitination.1 Extensive research has revealed that there are more than 100 DUBs found in humans,which are classified into seven main families:ubiquitin-specific proteases(USPs),ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolases,the Machado-Joseph disease domain superfamily,the otubain/ovarian tumor-domain containing proteins,the ZUFSP(Zinc finger with UFM1-specific peptidase domain protein)family,the JAB1/MPN/MOV34 proteases,and the novel motif interacting with ubiquitin-containing DUB *** DUBs are cysteine proteases,except the JAB1/MPN/MOV34 proteases,which are Zn^(2+) metalloproteases.
