The translocation of YAP from the cytoplasm to the nucleus is critical for its activation and plays a key role in tumor ***,the precise molecular mechanisms governing the nuclear import of YAP are not fully *** this study,we have uncovered a crucial role of SOX9 in the activation of ***9 promotes the nuclear translocation of YAP by direct ***,we have identified that the binding between Asp-125 of SOX9 and Arg-124 of YAP is essential for SOX9-YAP interaction and subsequent nuclear entry of ***,we have discovered a novel asymmetrical dimethylation of YAP at Arg-124(YAP-R124me2a)catalyzed by ***-R124me2a enhances the interaction between YAP and SOX9 and is associated with poor prognosis in multiple ***,we disrupted the interaction between SOX9 and YAP using a competitive peptide,S-A1,which mimics anα-helix of SOX9 containing Asp-125.S-A1 significantly inhibits YAP nuclear translocation and effectively suppresses tumor *** study provides the first evidence of SOX9 as a pivotal regulator driving YAP nuclear translocation and presents a potential therapeutic strategy for YAP-driven human cancers by targeting SOX9-YAP interaction.

Asia stands out as a priority for urgent biodiversity conservation due to its large protected areas(PAs)and threatened *** the 21st century,both the highlands and lowlands of Asia have been experiencing the dramatic human ***,the threat degree of human expansion to biodiversity is poorly ***,the threat degree of human expansion to biodiversity over 2000 to 2020 in Asia at the continental(Asia),national(48 Asian countries),and hotspot(6,502 Asian terrestrial PAs established before 2000)scales is investigated by integrating multiple large-scale *** results show that human expansion poses widespread threat to biodiversity in Asia,especially in Southeast Asia,with Malaysia,Cambodia,and Vietnam having the largest threat degrees(~1.5 to 1.7 times of the Asian average level).Human expansion in highlands induces higher threats to biodiversity than that in lowlands in one-third Asian countries(most Southeast Asian countries).The regions with threats to biodiversity are present in~75%terrestrial PAs(including 4,866 PAs in 26 countries),and human expansion in PAs triggers higher threat degrees to biodiversity than that in *** findings provide novel insight for the Sustainable Development Goal 15(SDG-15 Life on Land)and suggest that human expansion in Southeast Asian countries and PAs might hinder the realization of *** reduce the threat degree,Asian developing countries should accelerate economic transformation,and the developed countries in the world should reduce the demands for commodity trade in Southeast Asian countries(i.e.,trade leading to the loss of wildlife habitats)to alleviate human expansion,especially in PAs and highlands.

[Objectives]To observe the effects of Wuwei Xiaodu Decoction on uterine energy metabolism and serum inflammatory factors in the acute pelvic inflammatory disease(APID)model.[Methods]75 Wistar rats(females)were randomly divided into control group,model group and Wuwei Xiaodu Decoction low,medium and high dose groups(n=15).Except for the control group,the rat APID model was established by right uterine *** the fifth day after inoculation,the low,medium and high dose groups of Wuwei Xiaodu Decoction were administered at 4,8 and 16 g/kg,and the control group and model group received normal *** were killed 12 h after nondose administration,blood was collected from the abdominal aorta and measured by ELISA for serum interleukin-6(interleukin-6,IL-6),IL-8,and C-reactive proteins(CRP);the right uterus of rats was tested for high-energy phosphate adenosine phosphate(AMP),adenosine diphosphate(ADP),adenosine triphosphate(ATP)and total adenine nucleotides(TAN)level to evaluate the uterine energy metabolism.[Results]AMP,ADP,ATP and TAN were significantly higher in the Wuwei Xiaodu Decoction of low,medium and high dose than the model group,while the serum IL-6,IL-8 and CRP were significantly lower than the model group,and the difference between the low,medium and high doses(P<0.05).[Conclusions]The Wuwei Xiaodu Decoction can dose-dependent promote uterine energy metabolism and inhibit inflammatory response in APID model rats.

Fe-based Prussian blue(Fe-PB)cathode material shows great application potential in sodium(Na)-ion batteries due to its high theoretical capacity,long cycle life,low cost,and simple preparation ***,the crystalline water and vacancies of Fe-PB lattice,the low electrical conductivity,and the dissolution of metal ions lead to limited capacity and poor cycling *** this work,a perylene tetracarboxylic dianhydride amine(PTCDA)coating layer is successfully fabricated on the surface of Fe-PB by a liquid-phase *** aminated PTCDA(PTCA)coating not only increases the specific surface area and electronic conductivity but also effectively reduces the crystalline water and vacancies,which avoids the erosion of Fe-PB by ***,the PTCA layer reduces the charge transfer resistance,enhances the Na-ion diffusion coefficient,and improves the structure *** PTCA-coated Fe-PB exhibits superior Na storage performance with a first discharge capacity of 145.2 mAh g^(−1) at 100 mA g^(−1).Long cycling tests exhibit minimal capacity decay of 0.027%per cycle over 1000 cycles at 1 A g^(−1).Therefore,this PTCA coating strategy has shown promising competence in enhancing the electrochemical performance of Fe-PB,which can potentially serve as a universal electrode coating strategy for Na-ion batteries.

Association of Hypertension and Plant-based Dietary Patterns on Cognitive Impairment: A Nationwide Cohort Study in China

This study investigated the association of hypertension with cognitive impairment and determined whether better adherence to plant-based diet (PBD) patterns may modify the association. We analyzed 4485 elderly individuals with normal cognition at baseline from the Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (2011-2018). Cognitive function was assessed by the Mini-mental State Examination (MMSE)， and cognitive impairment was defined as an MMSE score below 18 points. Diet patterns were assessed using the overall plant-based diet index (PDI)， healthful plant-based diet index (hPDI)， and unhealthful plant-based diet index (uPDI) derived from a simplified food frequency questionnaire (FFQ). Blood pressure was measured through physical examination. Cox proportional hazard regression and restricted cubic spline were performed. Participants with hypertension had an increased risk of cognitive impairment compared with normal group. The associations between hypertension and cognitive impairment were more pronounced among participants with lower PDI than those with higher PDI， among participants with lower hPDI than those with higher hPDI， and among participants with higher uPDI than those with lower uPDI. A healthful PBD pattern may attenuate hypertension-induced cognitive impairment， while an unhealthful PBD pattern may exacerbate hypertension-induced cognitive impairment in elderly. Adherence to healthful PBD pattern could be used to prevent or mitigate adverse neurological effects in the hypertensive population.

为研究塑性黏结炸药PBX-9501在低速撞击条件下的力学变形、损伤以及温升情况,发展了基于黏塑性演化方程以及复杂应力状态下微裂纹形核、演化机制的非线性黏弹塑性细观损伤力热化学耦合模型.通过分析低速撞击试验中力学变形-损伤对炸药宏细观温升的影响,可确定炸药发生点火的主导机制及点火速度阈值,结果表明:撞击速度为59 m/s时PBX-9501炸药呈现大变形与破碎响应特征,顶部位置微裂纹和微孔洞演化程度最高,裂纹摩擦热点机制对炸药热点温升起主要作用;随着撞击速度增大,微裂纹热点机制仍为点火主导机制,可预测得到PBX-9501炸药点火临界撞击速度为120~125 m/s.

重症胸外伤急诊救治经验及临床效果分析

目的:总结并分析重症胸外伤的急诊救治经验及临床效果。方法:回顾性分析2022年11月-2023年11月收治的重症胸外伤37例患者的临床资料及救治经验和效果。结果:37例患者中致伤原因多为车祸伤,其次为高处坠落和重物砸伤。闭合性胸外伤32例,开放性胸外伤5例;合并颅脑损伤21例,合并腹部损伤8例,合并四肢、骨盆及脊柱骨折13例;急诊手术26例,择期手术12例;治愈31例,自动出院3例(均合并颅脑损伤,家属放弃治疗),死亡3例,治愈率83.8%。结论:重症胸外伤发病突然,起病急,伤情重,且多为合并其他脏器损伤的复合伤,病死率高,救治难度大,一旦接诊,应开通绿色救命通道,尽快完成液体复苏,有手术指证者尽早手术,同时注意多学科协作,提高救治成功率。

目的分析宫腔粘连分离术(transcervical resection of adhesion,TCRA)对冻融胚胎移植(frozen-thawed embryo transfer,FET)后患者产科并发症的影响及其相关因素。方法采用回顾性队列研究,收集2015年4月至2022年5月期间在南京医科大学附属妇产医院生殖医学中心行自体卵母细胞FET治疗并至少活产1名新生儿患者的临床资料。根据宫腔情况分为3组,对照组:正常宫腔形态(712例);宫腔粘连(intrauterine adhesion,IUA)组:IUA患者未行TCRA治疗(45例);TCRA组:IUA患者行TCRA治疗(51例)。通过倾向性评分匹配(propensity score matching,PSM)探讨3组患者宫腔情况与产科并发症的关系,并通过多因素logistic回归方法分析与TCRA相关的产科并发症的危险因素,采用校准曲线、受试者工作特征(receiver operating characteristic,ROC)曲线对构建的多因素logistic回归模型的效能进行评估。结果①在PSM前,3组间子宫内膜厚度、有无瘢痕子宫、妊娠次数、分娩次数、流产次数、人工流产次数和移植胚胎数的差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.05);在PSM后,基线特征在各组间达到平衡,TCRA组和IUA组的胎盘植入性疾病(placenta accreta spectrum disorders,PAS)发生率[48.8%(20/41);45.2%(19/42)]显著高于相应的对照组[24.7%(18/73),P=0.016;22.8%(18/79),P=0.019]。②多因素logistic回归分析显示子宫内膜厚度(OR=0.79,95%CI:0.69~0.90,P<0.001)、妊娠次数(2次,OR=2.25,95%CI:1.33~3.82,P=0.003)、子宫内膜准备方案(促性腺激素释放激素激动降调节联合激素替代疗法,OR=2.29,95%CI:1.16~4.52,P=0.017)、瘢痕子宫(OR=2.19,95%CI:1.39~3.45,P<0.001)和宫腔情况(IUA和TCRA,OR=2.11,95%CI:1.07~4.17,P=0.031;OR=2.70,95%CI:1.37~5.31,P=0.004)是PAS发生的独立预测因子。③预测PAS发生的多因素logistic回归模型的ROC曲线下面积为0.732(95%CI:0.686~0.778),并且校准曲线的结果经过内部验证表明预测风险和实际结果之间具有良好一致性(P=0.540),表现出良好的区分度和校准度。结论TCRA术后患者的前置胎盘、产后出血、胎膜早破等产科并发症的发病率与正常宫腔形态患者相同。然而,TCRA显著增加了采用FET助孕治疗的IUA患者发生PAS的风险。
