Mechanical Behavior and Failure Mechanism of an As-Extruded Mg-11wt%Y Alloy at Elevated Temperature

Through carrying out the high-temperature tensile experiments on an as-extruded Mg-11wt%Y alloy at 350℃,400℃,450℃,500℃and 550℃,the mechanical behavior and fracture mechanisms at elevated temperatures are investigated and *** results show that with the increase of temperature,the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of the alloy increase at first and then decrease,while that the elongation ratio decreases firstly and then *** the sample being tested at 350℃,the values of yield strength,ultimate tensile strength and the elongation ratio are 188 MPa,266 MPa and 11%,*** 400℃,the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength reach the maximum values of,respectively,198 MPa and 277 MPa,but the elongation ratio is the lowest and its value is only 8%.When the applied temperature is increased to 550℃,the values of yield strength and ultimate tensile strength,respectively,decrease to 140 MPa and 192 MPa and the elongation ratio increases to 38%.Failure analysis demonstrates that the fracture surfaces of different samples are mainly composed of plastic dimples and exhibit the typical characteristic of ductile *** observation to the fracture side surfaces indicates that at the temperatures of 350℃and 400℃,microcracks mainly initiate in the interior of Mg_(24)Y_(5)*** the temperatures are 450℃,500℃and 550℃,the cracks preferentially initiate at the Mg_(24)Y_(5)/α-Mg interfaces.

Structural damage in heterogeneousmaterials typically originates frommicrostructures where stress concentration ***,evaluating the magnitude and location of localized stress distributions within microstructures under external loading is *** unit cells(RUCs)are commonly used to represent microstructural details and homogenize the effective response of *** work develops a machine learning-based micromechanics tool to accurately predict the stress distributions of extracted *** locally exact homogenization theory efficiently generates the microstructural stresses of RUCs with a wide range of parameters,including volume fraction,fiber/matrix property ratio,fiber shapes,and loading ***,the conditional generative adversarial network(cGAN)is employed and constructed as a surrogate model to establish the statistical correlation between these parameters and the corresponding localized *** stresses predicted by cGAN are validated against the remaining true data not used for training,showing good *** work demonstrates that the cGAN-based micromechanics tool effectively captures the local responses of composite *** can be used for predicting potential crack initiations starting from microstructures and evaluating the effective behavior of periodic composites.

Objectives:The chemical constituents of Poria cocos grown with different substrates vary significantly;thus,identifying and comparing their biomarkers are *** and Methods:Herein,the chemical constituents of Poria cocos obtained with five different substrates were assessed using gas chromatography–ion mobility spectrometry(GC-IMS),high-performance liquid chromatography and multivariate statistical ***:The content of moisture,ash,alcohol-soluble matter,and heavy metals,except for those of the miscellaneous wood Poria cocos,conform to the specifications defined in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia(Edition 2020),and the polysaccharide contents are all greater than 57%.Conclusions:Based on GC-IMS and the established fingerprints,87 compounds were detected,70 of which were identified in each *** statistical analysis revealed seven compounds(two esters,three alcohols,and two aldehydes),which could be considered as potential marker compounds for discrimination.

With the introduction of more recent deep learning models such as encoder-decoder,text generation frameworks have gained a lot of *** Natural Language Generation(NLG),controlling the information and style of the output produced is a crucial and challenging *** purpose of this paper is to develop informative and controllable text using social media language by incorporating topic knowledge into a keyword-to-text framework.A novel Topic-Controllable key-to-Text(TC-k2T)generator that focuses on the issues of ignoring unordered keywords and utilising subject-controlled information from previous research is ***-k2T is built on the framework of conditional language *** order to guide the model to produce an informative and controllable language,the generator first inputs unordered keywords and uses subjects to simulate prior human *** an additional probability term,the model in-creases the likelihood of topic words appearing in the generated text to bias the overall *** proposed TC-k2T can produce more informative and controllable senescence,outperforming state-of-the-art models,according to empirical research on automatic evaluation metrics and human annotations.

Stability and transepithelial transport of oligopeptide(kRQkYD)with hepatocyte-protective activity from Jinhua ham in human intestinal Caco-2 monolayer cells

The study evaluated the stability of an oligopeptide(Lys-Arg-Gln-Lys-Tyr-Asp,kRQkYD)and its transport mechanism by simulating gastrointestinal digestion and a model of human intestinal Caco-2 monolayer cells in *** this study,the effects of environmental factors(temperature,pH and NaCl concentration)and simulated gastrointestinal digestion on the stability of kRQkYD were evaluated by indicators of the levels of alanine transaminase(ALT),aspartate transaminase(AST)and malondialdehyde(MDA)in an alcoholinduced hepatocyte injury *** results showed that kRQkYD still maintained satisfactory hepatocyteprotective activity after treatment with different temperatures(20-80℃),pH(3.0-9.0),NaCl concentration(1%-7%)and simulated gastrointestinal digestion,which indicated that kRQkYD showed good stability to environmental factors and simulated gastrointestinal ***,the intact kRQkYD could be absorbed in a model of Caco-2 monolayer cells with a P_(app)value of(9.70±0.53)×10^(-7)cm/*** with an energy inhibitor(sodium azide),a competitive peptide transporter inhibitor(Gly-Pro)and a transcytosis inhibitor wortmannin did not decrease the level of transepithelial kRQkYD transport,indicating that the transport mechanism of kRQkYD was not associated with energy dependent,vector mediated and *** tight junction disruptor cytochalasin D significantly increased the level of transepithelial kRQkYD transport(PkRQkYD was absorbed by paracellular transport.

Enhanced photocatalytic hydrogen production from Co-MOF/CN by nitrogen and sulfur co-doped coal-based carbon quantum dots

A novel composite photocatalyst for photocatalytic decomposition of water for hydrogen evolution was successfully synthesized by in-situ growth of nitrogen and sulfur co-doped coal-based carbon quantum dots(NSCQDs)nanoparticles on the surface of sheet cobalt-based metal-organic framework(Co-MOF)and graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4),CN).The structure and properties of the obtained catalysts were systematically *** effectively broaden the absorption of Co-MOF and CN in the visible *** new composite photocatalyst has high hydrogen production activity and the hydrogen production rate reaches 6254μmol/(g·h)at pH=*** the same time,NSCQDs synergy Co-MOF/CN composites have good *** four cycles of hydrogen production,the performance remains relatively *** tran sient photocurrent response and Nyquist plot experimental results further demonstrate the improvement of carrier separation efficiency in composite *** semiconductor type(n-type semico nductor)of the single-phase catalyst was determined by the Mott-Schottky test,and the band structure was *** conductive and valence bands of CN are-0.99 and 1.72 eV,respectively,and the conduction and valence bands of Co-MOF are-1.85 and 1.33 eV,*** e mechanism of the photocatalytic reaction can be inferred,that is,Z-type heterojunction is formed between CN an d Co-MOF,and NSCQDs was used as cocatalyst.

Low thermal conductivity,compatible thermal expansion coefficient,and good calcium–magnesium–aluminosilicate(CMAS)corrosion resistance are critical requirements for environmental barrier coatings used on silicon-based ***2Si2O7(RE=rare earth)has been widely recognized as one of the most promising candidates for environmental barrier coatings due to its good water vapor corrosion ***,the relatively high thermal conductivity and poor resistance to CMAS corrosion have limited its practical *** by the high entropy effect,in this work,a novel rare earth disilicate(Lu_(_(1/7))Yb_(_(1/7))Sc_(_(1/7))Er_(_(1/7))Y_(_(1/7))Ho_(_(1/7))Dy_(_(1/7)))2Si2O7((7RE_(_(1/7)))2Si2O7)has been designed and synthesized by a solid reaction process.(7RE_(_(1/7)))2Si2O7 showed a low thermal conductivity of 1.81 W·m^(−1)·k^(−1)at 1273 ***,the thermal expansion coefficient of(7RE_(_(1/7)))_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)(4.07×10^(−6)℃^(−1)from room temperature(RT)to 1400℃)is close to that of the SiC-based ceramic matrix composites(SiC-CMCs)((4.5–5.5)×10^(−6)℃^(−1)).Additionally,(7RE_(_(1/7)))2Si2O7 exhibited excellent resistance to CMAS *** exposed to CMAS at 1300℃for 48 h,the reaction layer thickness was 22μ*** improved performance of(7RE_(_(1/7)))2Si2O7 highlights its potential as a promising candidate for thermal/environmental barrier coatings.
