Rechargeable aluminum batteries(RABs),which use earth-abundant and high-volumetric-capacity metal anodes(8040 m Ah cm-3),have great potential as next-generation power sources because they use cheaper resources to deliver higher energies,compared to current lithium ion ***,the mechanism of charge delivery in the newly developed,ionic liquid-based electrolytic system for RABs differs from that in conventional organic ***,targeted research efforts are required to address the large overpotentials and cycling decay encountered in the ionic liquid-based electrolytic *** this study,a nanoporous carbon(NPC)electrode with well-developed nanopores is used to develop a high-performance aluminum *** negatively charged nanopores can provide quenched dynamics of electrolyte molecules in the aluminum deposition process,resulting in an increased collision *** fast chemical equilibrium of anionic species induced by the facilitated anionic collisions leads to more favorable reduction reactions that form aluminum *** nanoconfinement effect causes separated nucleation and growth of aluminum nanoparticles in the multiple confined nanopores,leading to higher coulombic efficiencies and more stable cycling performance compared with macroporous carbon black and 2D stainless steel electrodes.

Recently,Industrial Control Systems(ICSs)have been changing from a closed environment to an open environment because of the expansion of digital transformation,smart factories,and Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT).Since security accidents that occur in ICSs can cause national confusion and human casualties,research on detecting abnormalities by using normal operation data learning is being actively *** single technique proposed by existing studies does not detect abnormalities well or provide satisfactory *** this paper,we propose a GRU-based Buzzer Ensemble for AbnormalDetection(GBE-AD)model for detecting anomalies in industrial control systems to ensure rapid response and process *** newly proposed ensemble model of the buzzer method resolves False Negatives(FNs)by complementing the limited range that can be detected in a single model because of the internal models composing *** the internal models remain suppressed for False Positives(FPs),GBE-AD provides better *** addition,we generated mean prediction error data in GBE-AD and inferred abnormal processes using soft and hard *** confirmed that the detection model’s Time-series Aware Precision(TaP)suppressed FPs at 97.67%.The final performance was 94.04%in an experiment using anHIL-basedAugmented ICS(HAI)Security Dataset(ver.21.03)among public datasets.

In the quest to minimize energy waste,the energy performance of buildings(EPB)has been a focus because building appliances,such as heating,ventilation,and air conditioning,consume the highest ***,effective design and planning for estimating heating load(HL)and cooling load(CL)for energy saving have become *** this vein,efforts have been made to predict the HL and CL using a univariate ***,this approach necessitates two models for learning HL and CL,requiring more computational ***,the one-dimensional(1D)convolutional neural network(CNN)has gained popularity due to its nominal computa-tional complexity,high performance,and low-cost hardware *** this paper,we formulate the prediction as a multivariate regression problem in which the HL and CL are simultaneously predicted using the 1D *** the building shape characteristics,one kernel size is adopted to create the receptive fields of the 1D CNN to extract the feature maps,a dense layer to interpret the maps,and an output layer with two neurons to predict the two real-valued responses,HL and *** the 1D data are not affected by excessive parameters,the pooling layer is not applied in this ***,the use of pooling has been questioned by recent *** performance of the proposed model displays a comparative advantage over existing models in terms of the mean squared error(MSE).Thus,the proposed model is effective for EPB prediction because it reduces computational time and significantly lowers the MSE.

The solid-solution reaction between an alkali cation and an active host material is known as a singlephase redox mechanism,and it is typically accompanied by a continuous voltage *** is distinct from the typical alkali cation intercalation reaction at an equivalent site of the active host material,which exhibits a voltage ***,we report an unusual solid-solution potassium-ion intercalation mechanism with a low-voltage plateau capacity on multilayered turbostratic graphene nanosheets(T-GNSs).Despite the disordered graphitic structure with a broad range of d-spacings(3.65–4.18À),the T-GNSs showed a reversible plateau capacity of~200 m A h g^(-1),which is higher than that of a well-ordered graphite nanoplate(~120 m A h g^(-1)).In addition,a sloping capacity of~220 m A h g^(-1)was delivered with the plateau capacity,and higher rate capabilities,better reversibility,and a more stable cycling performance were confirmed on the turbostratic ***-principles calculations suggest that the multitudinous lattice domains of the T-GNSs contain diverse intercalation sites with strong binding energies,which could be the origin of the high-performance solid-solution potassium-ion intercalation behavior when the turbostratic graphene stacks have a d-spacing smaller than that of equilibrium potassium–graphite intercalation compounds(5.35À).

BACkGROUND Although premalignant duodenal lesions such as adenomas are uncommon,the incidences of these lesions have increased in recent times,and thus,the demand for minimally invasive treatments such as endoscopic resection(ER)has also ***,ER in the duodenum is more challenging than ER in other locations of the gastrointestinal *** To evaluate the safety and efficacy of ER for superficial nonampullary duodenal epithelial tumors(SNADETs)METHODS We performed a retrospective observational study on 56 consecutive patients(58 lesions)diagnosed with SNADETs that underwent ER from January 2011 to December 2020 at Yeungnam University *** demographics,lesion characteristics,and procedural and technical data were collected,and clinical outcomes,including procedure-related complications,completeness of resection,and recurrence were *** Median patient age was 57 years[range,26–77,30(53.6%)men].Endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR)was performed on 57 lesions(98.3%)and snare polypectomy on one(1.7%).Lesions consisted of 52 adenomas with low-grade dysplasia(89.7%),3 adenomas with high-grade dysplasia(5.2%),and 3 intramucosal adenocarcinomas(5.2%).There were 16 cases of intraprocedural bleeding(27.6%)and 1 case of delayed bleeding(1.7%),and all these 17 cases were successfully managed *** perforation or procedure-related death *** lesion size was associated with an increased risk of EMR-related bleeding(P=0.033).During a median follow-up period of 23 mo(range 6–100 mo),no local recurrence occurred,despite the fact one-third of the patients(19 lesions,32.8%)underwent piecemeal resection and 3 patients(3 lesions,5.2%)that underwent en bloc resection had a pathologically determined positive lateral *** patient died from a primary duodenal *** The majority of SNADETs can be safely and curatively resected by EMR,and thus,based on consideration of the high incidence of fatal complications attribut

The fabrication of a highly dense and ultrathin Gd doped ceria(GDC) interlayer on a large-area, porous electrolyte-coated planar anode support using vacuum slurry coating is studied for application in solid oxide fuel cells(SOFCs). The electrolyte-coated planar anode support body is fabricated by tape casting and pre-sintering is performed at 1100, 1150, and 1200°C. The GDC interlayer is coated onto the pre-sintered electrolyte-coated anode support using a vacuum slurry coating process with different immersion times(30–60 s). A highly dense and ultrathin GDC interlayer with a thickness of 1.48 μm is produced after co-sintering at 1400°C. The 1200°C pre-sintered electrolyte-coated anode support showed a thin and highly dense GDC interlayer which is attributed to a lower shrinkage difference between the coated GDC interlayer and pre-sintered body. The electrochemical performance of a vacuum slurry-coated GDC interlayer cell is 38 % higher compared to that of the screen-printed GDC-coated cell at 700°C due to the greatly reduced Ohmic and electrode polarization resistances. The considerable improvement in the performance is attributed to the ultrahigh GDC density which has prevented the secondary phase formation between the cathode and electrolyte. This study presents the economical, scalable, and reproducible process for the fabrication of highly robust GDC interlayer for the large-area planar anode-supported SOFCs.
