Regression analysis of squeezing-induced hybrid nanofluid flow in Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium

This article presents a mathematical model addressing a scenario involving a hybrid nanofluid flow between two infinite parallel plates. One plate remains stationary, while the other moves downward at a squeezing velocity. The space between these plates contains a Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium. A mixture of water-based fluid with gold(Au) and silicon dioxide(Si O2) nanoparticles is formulated. In contrast to the conventional Fourier's heat flux equation, this study employs the Cattaneo-Christov heat flux equation. A uniform magnetic field is applied perpendicular to the flow direction, invoking magnetohydrodynamic(mHD) effects. Further, the model accounts for Joule heating, which is the heat generated when an electric current passes through the fluid. The problem is solved via NDSolve in mATHEmATICA. Numerical and statistical analyses are conducted to provide insights into the behavior of the nanomaterials between the parallel plates with respect to the flow, energy transport, and skin *** findings of this study have potential applications in enhancing cooling systems and optimizing thermal management strategies. It is observed that the squeezing motion generates additional pressure gradients within the fluid, which enhances the flow rate but reduces the frictional drag. Consequently, the fluid is pushed more vigorously between the plates, increasing the flow velocity. As the fluid experiences higher flow rates due to the increased squeezing effect, it spends less time in the region between the plates. The thermal relaxation, however, abruptly changes the temperature, leading to a decrease in the temperature fluctuations.

SBL-JP-0004:A promising dual inhibitor of JAk2 and PI3kCD against gastric cancer

Background:Gastric cancer(GC)remains a global health burden and is often characterized by heterogeneous molecular profiles and resistance to conventional *** phosphoinositide 3-kinase and PI3k and Janus kinase(JAk)signal transducer and activator of transcription(JAk-STAT)pathways play pivotal roles in GC progression,making them attractive targets for therapeutic ***:This study applied a computational and molecular dynamics simulation approach to identify and characterize SBL-JP-0004 as a potential dual inhibitor of JAk2 and PI3kCD *** and SNU-5 GC cells were used for in vitro ***:SBL-JP-0004 exhibited a robust binding affinity for JAk2 and PI3kCD kinases,as evidenced by molecular docking scores and molecular dynamics *** interactions and Gibbs binding free energy estimates confirmed stable and favorable interactions with target ***-JP-0004 displayed an half-maximal inhibitory concentration(IC_(50))value of 118.9 nm against JAk2 kinase and 200.9 nm against PI3kCD ***-JP-0004 exhibited potent inhibition of cell proliferation in kATOIII and SNU-5 cells,with half-maximal growth inhibitory concentration(GI50)values of 250.8 and 516.3 nm,respectively.A significant elevation in the early phase apoptosis(28.53%in kATOIII cells and 26.85%in SNU-5 cells)and late phase apoptosis(17.37%in kATOIII cells and 10.05%in SNU-5 cells)were observed with SBL-JP-0004 treatment compared to 2.1%and 2.83%in their respective ***:The results highlight SBL-JP-0004 as a promising dual inhibitor targeting JAk2 and PI3kCD kinases for treating GC and warrant further preclinical and clinical investigations to validate its utility in clinical settings.

Ion Beam Surface modification of Y-TZP and Effects of Subsequent Annealing

Tetragonal zirconia polycrystals containing 3 mol% yttria (3Y-TZP), which show Superplasticity at high temperatures, were irradiated using 130 meV Zr+" ions in the TANDEm accelerator facility at Tokai Research Establishment, JAERI. The irradiation induced atomic displacement damage was analyzed by TRIm code. Changes in the mechanical properties and fracture behavior caused by the ion irradiation and the effects of subsequent annealing were studied. The distribution of micro-indentation depth as a function of the indentation position from the irradiated surface to the specimen interior was also examined. The occurrence of compressive residual stresses and increases in hardness and fracture toughness were found in the as-irradiated surface region of the specimen. The subsequent annealing revealed that these quantities were decreased gradually with raising the annealing temperature. Probable causes of the generation of the residual stress and the changes in mechanical properties and fracture mode due to the irradiation are discussed.

Dissipative dynamics of an entangled three-qubit system via non-Hermitian Hamiltonian: Its correspondence with markovian and non-markovian regimes

We investigate an entangled three-qubit system in which only one of the qubits experiences the decoherence effect by considering a non-Hermitian Hamiltonian,while the other two qubits are isolated,i.e.,do not interact with environment,***,the time evolution of the density matrix(for the pure as well as mixed initial density matrix)and the corresponding reduced density matrices are obtained,by which we are able to utilize the dissipative non-Hermitian Hamiltonian model with markovian and non-markovian regimes via adjusting the strange of the non-Hermitian term of the total Hamiltonian of the under-considered system.

Gain Flattening Filter Canceling Temperature Dependence of EDFA's gain

We have developed a gain flattening filter (GFF) for an erbium doped fiber (EDF) without temperature control systems. This GFF, which consists of temperature-sensitive long period gratings (LPGs) and a temperature compensated slanted fiber Bragg grating (SFBG), follows the gain shift of EDF with temperature. Gain variation of the EDFA less than 0.25dBp-p was achieved with the bandwidth of 37nm, and the temperature range 0-65℃ without any temperature control systems.

The Swedish astrophysicist and Nobel Prize winner Hannes Alfven said： Theories come and go -- the experiment is here forever. Often a theory, which we set up to describe an observed physical phenomenon, suffers from the lack of knowledge of decisive parameters, and therefore at best the theory becomes insufficient. Contrary, the experiment always reveals nature itself, though at prevailing experimental conditions. With essential parameters being out of control and even maybe unidentified, apparently similar experiments may deviate way beyond our expectations. However, these discrepancies offer us a chance to reflect on the character of the unknown parameters. In this way non-concordant experimental results may hold the key to the development of better theories - and to new experiments for the testing of their validity. Cavitation and cavitation nuclei are phenomena of that character.

Deformed photon-added entangled squeezed vacuum and one-photon states: Entanglement, polarization, and nonclassical properties

In this paper, after a brief review on the entangled squeezed states, we produce a new class of the continuous-variable- type entangled states, namely, deformed photon-added entangled squeezed states. These states are obtained via the iterated action of the f-deformed creation operator A = f（n）a＋ on the entangled squeezed states. In the continuation, by studying the criteria such as the degree of entanglement, quantum polarization as well as sub-Poissonian photon statistics, the two- mode correlation function, one-mode and two-mode squeezing, we investigate the nonclassical behaviors of the introduced states in detail by choosing a particular f-deformation function. It is revealed that the above-mentioned physical properties can be affected and so may be tuned by justifying the excitation number, after choosing a nonlinearity function. Finally, to generate the introduced states, we propose a theoretical scheme using the nonlinear Jaynes-Cummings model.

Failure pattern in ceramic metallic target under ballistic impact

The ballistic resistance and failure pattern of a bi-layer alumina 99.5%-aluminium alloy 1100-H12 target against steel 4340 ogival nosed projectile has been explored in the present experimental cum numerical *** the experimental investigation,damage induced in the ceramic layer has been quantified in terms of number of cracks developed and failure zone *** resultant damage in the backing layer has been studied with variation in the bulge and perforation hole in the backing layer with the varying incidence *** discussion of the experimental results has been further followed by three dimensional finite element computations using ABAQUS/Explicit finite code to investigate the behaviour of different types of bi-layer targets under multi-hit projectile *** JH-2 constitutive model has been used to reproduce the behaviour of alumina 99.5%and JC constitutive model has been used for steel 4340 and aluminium alloy *** total energy dissipation has been noted to be of lesser magnitude in case of sub-sequential impact in comparison to simultaneous impact of two *** distance between the impact points of two projectiles also effected the ballistic resistance of bi-layer *** ballistic resistance of single tile ceramic front layer and four tile ceramic of equivalent area found to be dependent upon the boundary conditions provided to the target.
