Collapse of charge ordering in Bi_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)MnO_3 by cation disorder: a magnetic and structural investigation

The structure, transport, and magnetic properties of ***0.5MnO3 （LBSMO）（x=0.1 and 0.4） were studied through X-ray diffraction, magnetization, and electron spin resonance （ESR） measurements. The structural analysis showed that the LBSMO crystallized in an orthorhombic perovskite structure with Pbnm space group for x=-0.1 and Imma space group for x=0.4 and the highly polarizable 6s^2 lone pair of Bi^3＋ was the ttming factor for the structural variations. Magnetic studies revealed that the replacement of Bi ions by La ions resulted in the collapse high temperature charge ordering state of BSMO and it order Ferro Magnetically （FM） with Tc around 355 and 330 k for x=0.1 and 0.4, respectively. Both ESR, temperature and field dependant magnetization suggested that there was a coexistence of FM and the paramagnetic phases well below Tc and the FM and CO-AFM phases below 250 k of LBSMO.

Complex nature of underwater environment poses biggest challenge towards image acquisition and transmission of underwater *** paper proposes an integrated approach which consists of a non-learning enhancement method with deep Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)for compression and reconstruction of the *** proposed method does color and contrast correction for image *** enhanced images are down-sampled using 9-layer CNN followed by Discrete Wavelet Transform(DWT).The decompression is done by using Inverse ***,the sub-pixel up-sampled image is de-blurred using a three-layer *** Dense CNN(RD-CNN)is used to improve the quality of the reconstructed image after *** quality of the reconstructed images is measured using Peak Signal to Noise Ratio(PSNR)and Structural Similarity Index Metric(SSIM).The proposed model provides better image enhancement,compression,and reconstruction quality than the existing state-of-the-art methods and Super Resolution CNN(SRCNN)respectively.

Pure TiO2 thin films were deposited onto quartz substrates using a ceramic TiO2 target at an elevated substrate temperature of 573 k by RF magnetron sputtering, and an analysis of structural, optical and photoluminescence characteristics of the films upon phase transformation is reported in this paper. Structural investigations using X-ray diffraction revealed that the as-deposited film was amorphous in nature. Thermal annealing for 2 h at 873 k in air resulted in the formation of anatase phase, and a phase transformation to rutile was observed at 1073 *** increase in grain size and an improvement in crystallinity were also observed on annealing. Rod- like rutile crystallites were observed in the SEM images of the film annealed at 1273 k. As-deposited films and films annealed up to 1073 k were highly transparent in the visible region with a transparency 480%. Optical band gap of the films decreased upon thermal annealing which is attributed to phase transformation from amorphous to anatase and then to rutile. Optical parameters such as refractive index, optical conductivity and optical dielectric constant increased with increase in annealing temperature. Since rutile is the optically active phase, the superior refractive index of the film annealed at 1073 k along with its high transparency in visible region suggests the application of this film in antireflective coatings. Photoluminescence emission of maximum intensity was observed for the film annealed at 873 k, which exhibits anatase phase. Intense blue emission observed in this film makes it suitable for use in optoelectronic display devices.
