As a material with good biocompatibility,hydroxyapatite(HAP)can have optical properties after doping with various rare earth *** a biocompatible fluorescent material,doped HAP could have broad applications in biological probes,drug delivery,optoelectronic materials,fluorescence anti-counterfeiting,and other *** this paper,we put forward the preparation of HAP doped with terbium(Ⅲ)ions(Tb^(3+))by hydrothermal *** controlling the Tb^(3+)doping content in reaction and the reaction time,the changes in HAP's structure,morphology,and luminescence properties under different conditions were *** the doping amount of Tb^(3+)reached an optimal value,the dipole-quadrupole would occur and the concentration would be *** control experiment showed that the optimal Tb3+content was 7.5×10^(-5)mol,which showed the best fluorescence ***,a non-luminous material,was rarely used in the field of fluorescent anti-counterfeiting and photoelectric *** proposed to prepare a luminescent aramid/polyphenylene sulfide(ACFs/PPs)fiber paper and a new light-emitting diode(LED)using the Tb-doped HAP *** composite sample exhibited an excellent stability and fluorescence performance,which also demonstrated a possibility of HAP applications in anticounterfeiting and *** introduction of Tb3+dopant HAP was done to give HAP optical properties and broaden the application range of HAP.

Predictive active control of building structures using LQR and artificial intelligence

This study presents a neural network-based model for predicting linear quadratic regulator(LQR)weighting matrices for achieving a target response *** on the expected weighting matrices,the LQR algorithm is used to determine the various responses of the *** responses are determined by numerically analyzing the governing equation of motion using the state-space *** training a neural network,four input parameters are considered:the time history of the ground motion,the percentage reduction in lateral displacement,lateral velocity,and lateral acceleration,Output parameters are LQR weighting *** study the effectiveness of an LQR-based neural network(LQRNN),the actual percentage reduction in the responses obtained from using LQRNN is compared with the target percentage ***,to investigate the efficacy of an active control system using LQRNN,the controlled responses of a system are compared to the corresponding uncontrolled *** trained neural network effectively predicts weighting parameters that can provide a percentage reduction in displacement,velocity,and acceleration close to the target percentage *** on the simulation study,it can be concluded that significant response reductions are observed in the active-controlled system using ***,the LQRNN algorithm can replace conventional LQR control with the use of an active control system.

Geochemistry and depositional environment of fuchsite quartzites from sargur Group,western Dharwar Craton,India

Meso-Neoarchean fuchsite quartzites are present in different stratigraphic positions of Dharwar Craton including the oldest(~3.3 Ga)sargur Group of western Dharwar *** present study deals with the petro-graphic and geochemical characteristics of the fuchsite quartzites from the Ghattihosahalli belt to evaluate their genesis,depositional setting and the enigma involved in the ancient sedimentation *** major mineral assemblages include quartz,fuchsite,and feldspars along with accessory kyanite and *** geochemical com-positions are characterized by high siO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),low MgO,CaO,strongly enriched Cr(1326–6899 ppm),Ba(1165–3653 ppm),sr(46–210 ppm),V(107–868 ppm)and Zn(11–158 ppm)contents compared to the upper continental crust(UCC).The UCC normalized rare earth element(REE)patterns are characterized by depleted light REE[(La/sm)UCC=0.33–0.95]compared to heavy REE[(Gd/Yb)_(UCC)=0.42–1.65]with conspicuous positive Eu-anomalies(Eu/Eu^(*)=1.35–18.27)characteristic of hydrothermal solutions evidenced through the interlayered *** overall major and trace element systematics reflect a combined mafic-felsic provenance and suggest their deposition at a passive continental margin *** comprehensivefield,petrographic,and geo-chemical studies indicate that these quartzites are infiltrated by Cr-richfluids released during high-grade metamorphism of associated ultramafic *** sargur and the subse-quent Dharwar orogeny amalgamated diverse lithounits from different tectonic settings,possibly leading to the release of Cr-richfluids and the formation of fuchsite quartzite during or after the *** sug-gest a pre-existing stable crust prior to the sargur Group and the link between orogenic events and various mineral deposits in the Dharwar Craton.

BACkGROUND Cronkhite-Canada syndrome(CCs)is a rare disease of unknown *** optimal treatment for CCs remains *** with corticosteroids is considered the mainstay treatment because of its high efficacy,but the therapeutic strategy for steroid-resistant CCs is not yet *** sUMMARY This is the case of an 81-year-old woman who was diagnosed with *** her severe diarrhea,nausea,vomiting,and hypoproteinemia,hormone therapy(40 mg/d)was administered,and the symptoms improved within 1 *** 3 mo,the patient had no obvious *** polyps were significantly reduced on review gastroscopy and colonoscopy,thus hormone reduction gradually *** hormone level was maintained at 10 mg/d after 6 *** the age of the patient and the side effects of hormones,the patient had no obvious ***,hormone drugs were discontinued,and mesalazine was administered orally at 3 g/*** patient's symptoms continued to improve after a follow-up of 5 *** Corticosteroids and mesalazine are potential treatment options for CCs.

Unmanned ship Identification Based on Improved YOLOv8s Algorithm

Aiming at defects such as low contrast in infrared ship images,uneven distribution of ship size,and lack of texture details,which will lead to unmanned ship leakage misdetection and slow detection,this paper proposes an infrared ship detection model based on the improved YOLOv8 algorithm(R_YOLO).The algorithm incorporates the Efficient Multi-scale Attention mechanism(EMA),the efficient Reparameterized Generalized-feature extraction module(CsPstage),the small target detection header,the Repulsion Loss function,and the context aggregation block(CABlock),which are designed to improve the model’s ability to detect targets at multiple scales and the speed of model *** algorithm is validated in detail on two vessel *** comprehensive experimental results demonstrate that,in the infrared dataset,the YOLOv8s algorithm exhibits improvements in various performance ***,compared to the baseline algorithm,there is a 3.1%increase in mean average precision at a threshold of 0.5(mAP(0.5)),a 5.4%increase in recall rate,and a 2.2%increase in mAP(0.5:0.95).simultaneously,while less than 5 times parameters,the mAP(0.5)and frames per second(FPs)exhibit an increase of 1.7%and more than 3 times,respectively,compared to the CAA_YOLO ***,the evaluation indexes on the visible light data set have shown an average improvement of 4.5%.

One-step conversion of methane and formaldehyde to ethanol over sA-FLP dual-active-site catalysts: A DFT study

One-step conversion of methane and formaldehyde into ethanol is a 100% atom-efficient process for carbon resources utilization and environment protection but still faces eminent challenges due to the lacking of efficient catalysts. Therefore, developing active and stable catalysts is crucial for the co-conversion of methane and formaldehyde. Herein, twelve kinds of “single-Atom”-“Frustrated Lewis Pair”(sA-FLP)dual-active-site catalysts are designed for the direct conversion of methane and formaldehyde to ethanol based on density functional theory(DFT) calculations and microkinetic simulations. The results show that the sA-FLP dual active sites can simultaneously activate methane at the sA site and activate formaldehyde at the FLP site. Among the twelve designed sA-FLP catalysts, Fe1-FLP shows the best performance in the co-conversion of methane and formaldehyde to ethanol with the rate-determining barrier of 1.15 e *** is proved as the main product with the turnover frequency of 1.32 × 10^(-4)s^(-1)at 573 k and 3 *** work provides a universal strategy to design dual active sites on metal oxide materials and offers new insights into the effective conversion of methane and formaldehyde to desired C_(2) chemicals.
