This study proposes a new generation of floating gate transistors(FGT)with a novel built-in security *** new device has applications in guarding the IC chips against the current reverse engineering techniques,including scanning capacitance microscopy(SCM).The SCM measures the change in the C–V characteristic of the device as a result of placing a minute amount of charge on the floating gate,even in nano-meter *** proposed design only adds a simple processing step to the conventional FGT by adding an oppositely doped implanted layer to the *** new structure was first analyzed theoretically and then a two-dimensional model was extracted to represent its C–V ***,this model was verified with a *** addition,the C–V characteristics relevant to the SCM measurement of both conventional and the new designed FGT were compared to discuss the effectiveness of the added layer in masking the state of the *** effect of change in doping concentration of the implanted layer on the C–V characteristics was also ***,the feasibility of the proposed design was examined by comparing its I–V characteristics with the traditional FGT.

Nanosized 1 at% Sm^(3+)doped Y_(2)O_(3)powders were prepared by an ultrasound assisted sol-gel method.Y_(2)O_(3):Sm^(3+)powders crystallize in Y_(2)O_(3)pure cubic phase and XRD analysis shows that the as-used agitation protocol affects strongly the crystallite’s shape and mean *** recorded emission spectra under λ_(em)=600 nm exhibit two absorption bands;the first one is assigned to O^(2-)→Sm^(3+)charge transfer state(CTS) with a maximum absorption at 223 nm,and the second is due to intraconfigurational transition 4f^(5)-4f^(5) of Sm^(3+) with a maximum absorption at 407 *** 223 and 407 nm transitions are attributed to characteristics intra-configurational transitions of Sm^(3+).All emission spectra are dominated by reddish/orange luminescence located at 606 nm and assigned to ^(4)G_(5/2)→^(6)H_(7/2) *** is found that the photoluminescence intensity of samples obtained under excitation at 407 nm is 60 times smaller than that obtained under 223 nm *** time measurements of the ^(4)G_(5/2)→^(6)H_(7/2) luminescence transition indicate that decay time of nano-sized powder is significantly shorter than bulk material one.

Fluid-flow measurements of petroleum can be performed using a variety of equipment such as orifice meters and wellhead *** is useful to understand the relationship between flow rate through orifice meters(Qv)and the five fluid-flow influencing input variables:pressure(P),temperature(T),viscosity(μ),square root of differential pressure(ΔP^0.5),and oil specific gravity(SG).Here we evaluate these relationships using a range of machine-learning algorithms applied to orifice meter data from a pipeline flowing from the Cheshmeh khosh Iranian oil *** coefficients indicate that(Qv)has weak to moderate positive correlations with T,P,andμ,a strong positive correlation with theΔP^0.5,and a weak negative correlation with oil specific *** order to predict the flow rate with reliable accuracy,five machine-learning algorithms are applied to a dataset of 1037 data records(830 used for algorithm training;207 used for testing)with the full input variable values for the data set *** algorithms evaluated are:Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System(ANFIS),Least Squares Support Vector Machine(LSSVM),Radial Basis Function(RBF),Multilayer Perceptron(MLP),and Gene expression programming(GEP).The prediction performance analysis reveals that all of the applied methods provide predictions at acceptable levels of *** MLP algorithm achieves the most accurate predictions of orifice meter flow rates for the dataset *** and RBF also achieve high levels of *** and LSSVM perform less well,particularly in the lower flow rate range(i.e.,<40,000 stb/day).Some machine learning algorithms have the potential to overcome the limitations of idealized streamline analysis applying the Bernoulli equation when predicting flow rate across an orifice meter,particularly at low flow rates and in turbulent flow *** studies on additional datasets are required to confirm this.

One of the main environmental pollutants is heavy metals. Due to extensive usage in industry, these metals enter biological cycle rapidly and contaminated water and soil resources rapidly. In this work, lead, copper, zinc and chromium of Bandar Abbas wastewater are examined. For this research, nine stations were set for measurement in urban level in Bandar Abbas and sampling of aforesaid metals was performed in fall and winter 2006 in these stations. After extraction and preparation operations using APDC-MIBk, samples were measured using flame atomic absorption system. According to results, concentrate of studied metals was lower than allowable standard value set by Iran environmental protection organization for agricultural purposes and sewage to ground level waters. In addition, efficiency of Bandar Abbas wastewater treatment plant to remove these metals is 40% - 70% from which highest removal is for zinc as much as 71.1% and lowest level is for copper as much as 40.5%. However, copper level was higher than allowable level for agricultural purposes in spring and summer (0.21 mg/L and 0.23 mg/L, respectively) and lower in fall and winter (0.103 mg/L and 0.098 mg/L, respectively). Furthermore, changes in concentration of metals in these stations in various seasons were measured and analyzed using one-way variance analysis and simultaneous effects of time and place on measured variables were analyzed using two-way variance analysis.

Background Sphingosine-1-phosphate lyase insufficiency syndrome(SPLIS)or nephrotic syndrome type-14 is caused by biallelic mutations in ***,we conducted a systematic review to delineate the characteristics of SPLIS *** A literature search was performed in PubMed,Web of Science,and Scopus databases,and eligible studies were *** all patients,demographic,clinical,laboratory,and molecular data were collected and *** Fifty-five SPLIS patients(54.9%male,45.1%female)were identified in 19 *** consanguinity and positive family history were reported in 70.9%and 52.7%of patients,*** patients(54.9%)primarily manifested within the first year of life,nearly half of whom survived,while all patients with a prenatal diagnosis of SPLIS(27.5%)died at a median[interquartile(IQR)]age of 2(1.4–5.3)months(P=0.003).The most prevalent clinical feature was endocrinopathies,including primary adrenal insufficiency(PAI)(71.2%)and hypothyroidism(32.7%).kidney disorders(42,80.8%)were mainly in the form of steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome(SRNS)and progressed to end-stage kidney disease(ESkD)in 19(36.5%)patients at a median(IQR)age of 6(1.4–42.6)*** 30 different mutations in SGPL1,the most common was c.665G>A(***222Gln)in 11(20%)***-six(49.1%)patients with available outcome were deceased at a median(IQR)age of 5(1.5–30.5)months,mostly following ESkD(23%)or sepsis/septic shock(23%).Conclusion In patients with PAI and/or SRNS,SGPL1 should be added to diagnostic genetic panels,which can provide an earlier diagnosis of SPLIS and prevention of ESkD and other life-threatening complications.

将改进的有机氮肥管理模型(MANIMEA)与广为应用的土壤水流运动模型(SWAP)相耦合,用于模拟评价施用猪粪条件下NO3--N(硝态氮)通过地下排水的流失量。采用加拿大新斯科舍省农业大学试验站4个试验地块1999年的日地下排水量及NO3--N流失量观测值对模型进行了模拟验证。模拟结果表明,预测的日地下排水量与观测的地下排水量吻合较好,相关系数在0.73~0.78之间;日NO3--N流失量与地下排水量的关系密切,4个试验地块NO3--N流失量模拟值与观测值平均误差在-0.017kg/hm2和0.005 kg/hm2之间,绝对平均误差范围在0.087 kg/hm2和0.152 kg/hm2之间。模拟时段NO3--N总流失量与观测值的相对误差在-0.5%和8.9%之间。总体来说,图形显示和统计指标分析表明,MANIMEA模型具有良好的模拟性能,模型能够较好的预测地下排水中NO3--N流失量。

The greater part of urban heritage, especially of the medium and small Algerian cities, is subject to a major seismic risk. The probability of a happening earthquake is strong, and the territories vulnerability is great. Legislative procedures are implemented to support urban heritage and managing natural disasters. In fact, the PPSMVSS （permanent plan of safeguard and enhancement of saved sectors） as an instrument of protection, preservation and enhancement of this heritage, in its content, does not guide decision makers on how to manage the vulnerability of preserved areas from the earthquake. After the disaster of the earthquake that hit the Algerian Centre （wilaya of Boumerdes） in 2003. A legislative framework was created while other texts have been adapted. Emergency measures operations are launched to preserve the under threat monuments and protected areas. Saved sectors of Dellys, in the wilaya of Boumerdes and T6n^s in the wilaya of Chlef, are all the time subjected to seismic risk. This article presents a comparative study of two PPSMVSS, Dellys and T6n6s, and the management of the vulnerability of their two safeguarded areas. As a result of this study, some indicators were identified to allow the development of plans for the protection and management natural risks of these protected areas.

The present study deals with analytical investigation of temperature of a single burning iron *** mathematical methods including AGM(Akbari-Ganji’s method),CM(Collocation method)and GM(Galerkin Method)are applied to solving non-linear differential governing equation and effectiveness of these methods is examined as *** further investigation,forth order Runge-kutta approach,a numerical method,is used to validate the obtained analytical *** the present study,the developed mathematical model takes into account the effects of thermal radiation,convective heat transfer and particle density variations during combustion *** to particles’small size and high thermal conductivity,the system is assumed to be lumped in which the particle temperature does not change within the body and all of its regions are at the same *** temperature distributions obtained by analytical methods have satisfactory agreement with numerical ***,the results indicate that AGM is a more appropriate method than GM and CM due to its lower mean relative error and less run time.

The availability in the soil of potassium(k^(+)),a poorly mobile macronutrient required in large quantities for plant growth,is generally suboptimal for crop production in the absence of fertilization,making improvement of the ability of crops to adapt to k^(+)deficiency stress a major *** the uptake capacity of the root system is among the main strategies to achieve this ***,we report an integrative approach to examine the effect of k^(+)deficiency on the development of young plant entire root system,including root hairs which are known to provide a significant contribution to the uptake of poorly mobile nutrients such as k^(+),in two genetically distant wheat varieties.A rhizobox-type methodology was developed to obtain highly-resolved images of root and root hairs,allowing to describe global root and root hair traits over the whole root system via image analysis *** two wheat varieties responded differently to the k^(+)shortage:Escandia,a wheat ancestor,reduced shoot biomass in condition of k^(+)shortage and substantially increased the surface area of its root system,specifically by increasing the total root hair *** Zenati,a landrace,conversely appeared unresponsive to the k^(+)shortage but was shown to constitutively express,independently of the external k^(+)availability,favorable traits to cope with reduced k^(+)availability,among which a high total root hair ***,valuable information on root system adaptation to k^(+)deficiency was provided by global analyses including root hairs,which should also be relevant for other nutrient stresses.
