Superiority of Strontium-Doped Barium Titanate as an Electron Transport for Perovskite Solar Cells for Enhanced Efficiency and Thermal Stability

This study presents a detailed comparative analysis of three electron transport layer（ETL） materials for perovskite solar cells（PSCs）,namely titanium dioxide（TiO2）,barium titanate（BaTiO3or BTO）,and strontium-doped barium titanate(Ba1-xSrxTiO3or BST),and their impact on the quantum efficiency（QE） and power conversion efficiency（PCE） of CH3NH3PbI3（MAPbI3） *** optimized structure demonstrates that devices utilizing BST as an ETL achieved the highest PCE of 29.85%,exhibiting superior thermal stability with the lowest temperature coefficient of-0.43%/*** temperature-induced degradation is comparable to that of commercially available silicon ***,BST-based ETLs show 29.50% and 26.48% higher PCE than those of TiO2-based and BTO-based *** enhanced internal QE and favorable current density-voltage（J-V） characteristics of BST compared with those of TiO2and BTO are attributed to its improved charge carrier separation,reduced recombination rates,and robust electrical characteristics under varied environmental ***,the electric field and generation rate of the BST-based ETLs show a more favorable distribution than those of the TiO2-based and BTO-based *** findings provide significant insights into the role of different ETLs in enhancing QE,indicating that BST is a superior ETL that enhances both the efficiency and stability of *** study contributes to the understanding of how perovskite-structured ETLs can be used to design and optimize highly efficient and stable photovoltaic devices.

The thermal nanofluids have garnered widespread attention for their use in multiple thermal systems, including heating processes, sustainable energy, and nuclear reactions. Research on nanofluids has revealed that the thermal efficiencies of such materials are adversely affected by various thermal features. The purpose of the current work is to demonstrate the thermal analysis of Jeffrey nanofluids with the suspension of microorganisms in the presence of variable thermal sources. The variable effects of thermal conductivity, Brownian diffusivity, and motile density are utilized. The investigated model also reveals the contributions of radiation phenomena and chemical reactions. A porous, saturated, moving surface with a suction phenomenon promotes flow. The modeling of the problem is based on the implementation of the Cattaneo-Christov *** convective thermal constraints are used to promote the heat transfer features. A simplified form of the governing model is treated with the assistance of a shooting technique. The physical effects of different parameters for the problem are presented. The current problem justifies its applications in heat transfer, coating processes, heat exchangers, cooling systems in microelectronics, solar systems, chemical processes, etc.

Spatiotemporal Analysis of Pavement Roughness Using Connected Vehicle Data for Asset Management

Pavement condition monitoring and its timely maintenance is necessary to ensure the safety and quality of the roadway infrastructure. The International Roughness Index (IRI) is a commonly used measure to quantify road surface roughness and is a critical input to asset management. In Indiana, the IRI statistic contributes to roughly half of the pavement quality index computation used for asset management. Most agencies inventory IRI once a year, however, pavement conditions vary much more frequently. The objective of this paper is to develop a framework using crowdsourced connected vehicle data to identify and detect temporal changes in IRI. Over 3 billion connected vehicle records in Indiana were analyzed across 30 months between 2022 and 2024 to understand the spatiotemporal variations in roughness. Annual comparisons across all major interstates in Indiana showed the miles of interstates classified as “Good” decreased from 1896 to 1661 miles between 2022 and 2024. The miles of interstate classified as “Needs Maintenance” increased from 82 to 120 miles. A detailed case study showing monthly and daily changes of estimated IRI on I-65 are presented along with supporting dashcam images. Although the crowdsourced IRI estimates are not as robust as traditional specialized pavement profilers, they can be obtained on a monthly, weekly, or even daily basis. The paper concludes by suggesting a combination of frequent crowdsourced IRI and commercially available dashcam imagery of roadway can provide an agile and responsive mechanism for agencies to implement pavement asset management programs that can complement existing annual programs.

为探究美国白蛾Hyphantria cunea（Drury）地理种群系统发育关系以及黑头型和红头型的分化。本文对采自我国河北、河南、辽宁、山东、天津9个样点以及美国佐治亚州、伊利诺伊州、印第安纳州、堪萨斯州、肯塔基州、密歇根州、密苏里州、北卡罗来纳州、俄亥俄州、田纳西州、弗吉尼亚州17个样点的美国白蛾幼虫样本进行线粒体mt-COI基因扩增、测序和分析。结合GenBank下载的24条mt-COI序列，利用邻接法（Neighbor-joining，NJ）和最大似然法（Maximum likelihood，ML）重建美国白蛾系统发育关系，利用DnsSP6进行单倍型分析。结果表明：美国白蛾48条mt-COI序列聚成两个分支，代表了两种不同的幼虫头型，黑头型mt-COI基因序列进一步分成两支，第一个分支由中国、加拿大东海岸、美国中东部和东北部、日本茨城的地理种群聚成；第二个分支由美国南部和西部、日本名古屋的地理种群聚成。红头型和黑头型幼虫呈现出明显的种群分化。在黑头型美国白蛾中，中国和日本茨城的地理种群与加拿大东海岸和美国东北部的种群更接近，日本名古屋的地理种群与美国西部和南部的种群更接近，且日本种群较中国种群呈现出更明显的分化。

The present work is focusing on the synthesization and physico-chemical properties of Jatropha curcas biodiesel with diesel and *** densities of binary diesel(2)+1-alkanols(C_(3) or C_(4))(3)and ternary Jatropha curcas biodiesel(1)+diesel(2)+1-alkanols(C_(3)or C_(4))(3)blends have been reported over full range of composition at temperatures within range 288.15 to 313.15 *** densities of Jatropha curcas biodiesel(1)+diesel or 1-alkanols(C_(3) or C_(4))(2)blends have been measured at 313.15 *** molar volumes,V^E,V^E_(123)of binary and ternary blends were calculated from the measured data and the derived properties were correlated to composition using Redlich-kister equation.A reasonable agreement was found between the measured and estimated ***,densities and excess molar volumes data were reasoned to discuss molecular interactions taking into consideration effect of composition and temperature.

The Diagnosis of Maritime Structures, a Management Support Tool: Case of the Sèmè-Podji Wharf in the Republic of Benin

Port structures constitute the main link in the maritime transport chain of coastal countries and therefore contribute to their economic development. But it should be noted that the installation of said works is not without consequences for the countries concerned. Benin, a country in the Gulf of Guinea, is no exception to this phenomenon because, due to its maritime history, it has a heritage of port structures. These structures, built on its coastline, cause a wide variety of environmental problems such as silting and erosion on either side of them. The general objective of this article is to contribute to the proper functionality of port facilities while minimizing environmental problems that may arise. It aims to provide managers with a tool allowing them to fully understand the state of their assets in order to rationalize maintenance actions. In order to achieve this objective, an assessment of the state of the structure, and then a structural diagnosis are necessary and recommendations can be established to restore the level of service of the latter. As a result, two examples were presented: the wharf of the Sèmè-Podji pipeline project and the maritime piles project of the Wasco de Gama bridge (control project), and recommendations adapted to this objective were established. The comparative analysis of the two examples, both maritime works, revealed an under-sizing at the level of the spans of the wharf bridge of the Sèmè-Podji pipeline project (spans of 7 m in length), while these spans vary on average by 45 m to 62 m for the Wasco da Gama bridge. Bringing the piles closer together at the Sèmè-Podji wharf reduces the energy of the current which promotes the accumulation of sediment. The structure no longer experiences a flow capable of setting in motion the sands accumulated since at least 2022. This element appears to be a fundamental characteristic explaining the erosion observed to the east of the structure.
