This paper investigates the physical properties and predicted radii of compact stars generated by the Tolman-IV complexity-free model within the background of modified gravity theory,particularly the f(R,T)-gravity theory,under complexity formalism for a spherically symmetric spacetime proposed by ***[Phys Rev D 97:044010,2018].By solving the resulting set of differential equations,we obtain the explicit forms of the energy-momentum(EM)tensor components,including the density,radial pressure,and tangential *** influence of the parameterχon various physical properties of the star is thoroughly *** model undergoes a series of rigorous tests to determine its physical *** findings indicate that the model exhibits regularity,stability,and a surface with vanishing *** boundary of this surface is determined by carefully selecting the parameter *** complexity method employed in f(R,T)gravity offers an interesting approach for developing astrophysical models that are consistent with observable events as demonstrated by recent *** this regard,we use observational data from the GW190814 event,detected by the LIGO and Virgo observatories,to investigate the validity of the Tolman-IV model in f(R,T)*** analysis includes comparing the model's predictions with the observed characteristics of the compact object involved in the *** addition,data from two-millisecond pulsars,PSR J1614-2230 and PSR J0952-0607,are incorporated to further constrain the theoretical ***,we present a diagram depicting the relationship between the total mass and radius of the compact object candidates for different values ofχ.

Graphene derivatives as efficient hole transport materials for lead-free double perovskite(csSnI) solar cells: a numerical study

The double perovskite cs2SnI6has notable optical and electrical characteristics， rendering it a highly prospective candidate for deployment as the absorber layer in perovskite solar cells (PScs). We simulated the performance of PScs using lead-free cs2SnI6double perovskite absorber layer and graphene derivatives， namely graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO)， as hole transport layers (HTLs). Our findings show that rGO offers an excellent hole extraction property with minimal interfacial recombination compared to GO. PSc utilizing rGO as the HTL material achieved a power conversion efficiency of 19.07%， while those employing GO HTL attained only 16.9%. The superior performance of rGO is attributed to its greater charge carrier mobility of rGO and its favorable energy level alignment with the double perovskite absorber layer. In contrast， the mismatch in the charge transport properties between the absorber layer and the GO HTL resulted in poor performance. Our study showcases the potential of using graphene derivative-based HTLs for realizing lead-free PScs.

Leveraging the potential of big genomic and phenotypic data for genome-wide association mapping in wheat

Learning about good nutrition with the 5-color front-of-package label"Nutri-Score":an experimental study

The Nutri-Score is a 5-color front-of-pack nutrition label designed to provide consumers with an easily understandable guideline to the healthiness of food *** impact that the Nutri-Score may have on consumers'choices is unclear since different experimental paradigms have found vastly different effect *** the present study,we have investigated how student participants change a hypothetical personal 1-daydietary plan after a learning phase during which they learn about the Nutri-Scores of the available food *** were instructed to compose a healthy diet plan in order that the question of whether the NutriScore would improve their ability to compose a healthy dietary plan could be investigated,independent of the question of whether they would apply this knowledge in their ordinary *** found a substantial(cohen's d=0.86)positive impact on nutritional quality(as measured by the Nutrient Profiling System score of the Food Standards Agency)and a medium-sized(cohen's d=0.43)reduction of energy *** content reduction was larger for participants who had initially composed plans with higher energy *** results suggest that the Nutri-Score has the potential to guide consumers to healthier food *** remains unclear,however,whether this potential will be reflected in real-life dietary choices.

Border Sensitive knowledge Distillation for Rice Panicle Detection in UAV Images

Research on panicle detection is one of the most important aspects of paddy phenotypic analysis. A phenotyping method that uses unmanned aerial vehicles can be an excellent alternative to field-based methods. Nevertheless, it entailsmany other challenges, including different illuminations, panicle sizes, shape distortions, partial occlusions, and complex backgrounds. Object detection algorithms are directly affected by these factors. This work proposes a model for detecting panicles called Border Sensitive knowledge Distillation (BSkD). It is designed to prioritize the preservation of knowledge in border areas through the use of feature distillation. Our feature-based knowledge distillationmethod allows us to compress themodel without sacrificing its effectiveness. An imitationmask is used to distinguish panicle-related foreground features from irrelevant background features. A significant improvement in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) images is achieved when students imitate the teacher's features. On the UAV rice imagery dataset, the proposed BSkD model shows superior performance with 76.3% mAP, 88.3% precision, 90.1% recall and 92.6% F1 score. © 2024 The Authors.

Effects of layer interactions on instantaneous stability of finite Stokes flows

The stability analysis of a finite Stokes layer is of practical importance in flow control. In the present work, the instantaneous stability of a finite Stokes layer with layer interactions is studied via a linear stability analysis of the frozen phases of the base flow. The oscillations of two plates can have different velocity amplitudes, initial phases, and frequencies. The effects of the Stokes-layer interactions on the stability when two plates oscillate synchronously are analyzed. The growth rates of two most unstable modes when δ kes-layer thickness and the half height of the channel, respectively. However, their vorticities are different. The vorticity of the most unstable mode is symmetric, while the other is asymmetric. The Stokes-layer interactions have a destabilizing effect on the most unstable mode when δ ct when δ > 0.68. However, the interactions always have a stabilizing effect on the other unstable mode. It is explained that one of the two unstable modes has much higher dissipation than the other one when the Stokes-layer interactions are strong. We also find that the stability of the Stokes layer is closely related to the inflectional points of the base-flow velocity profile. The effects of inconsistent velocity-amplitude, initial phase, and frequency of the oscillations on the stability are analyzed. The energy of the most unstable eigenvector is mainly distributed near the plate of higher velocity amplitude or higher oscillation frequency. The effects of the initial phase difference are complicated because the base-flow velocity is extremely sensitive to the initial phase.
