Though flexible electrochromic devices have shown huge potential application in the fields of safety warning,display and smart windows,limited attention was paid on preparing flexible electrochromic fiber because of the difficulty in fabricating the multilayer electrochromic device structure in one-dimensional *** this study,a flexible electrochromic nylon fiber based on Ag nanowires(Nws)/PEDOT:PSS/wO3 nanoparticles(NPs)(PEDOT:PSS=poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):polystyrenesulfonic acid)is successfully fabricated,delivering rapid color switching(2.5 and 9 s for bleaching and coloration)and high optical modulation(65.5%at 633 nm),and sustainable to repeated mechanical *** Nws,PEDOT:PSS and wO3 NPs were dip-coated on the nylon fiber,resulting in an electrochromic fiber electrode with stable fiber resistance of 50-100Ω/10 cm,which can withstand mechanical deformation against 300 times of bending cycles with bending radius of 0.5 cm,and sustain 30 times of *** the galvanostatic tests,the capacitance of the electrochromic electrode can maintain 70%of the initial value even after 5,000 times of charge-discharge *** in knotted shape,the fiber still shows excellent color *** study provides a novel method to construct flexible electrochromic fiber and pave the way for the development of flexible optoelectronic devices,such as flexible and wearable displays.

Parkinson’s disease(PD)relates to defective mitochondrial quality control in the dopaminergic motor *** studies have revealed that PINk1 and Parkin mutations are indicative of a heightened propensity to PD onset,pinpointing mitophagy and inflammation as the culprit pathways involved in neuronal loss in the substantia nigra(SNpc).In a reciprocal manner,LRRk2 functions in the regulation of basal flux and inflammatory responses responsible for PINk1/Parkin-dependent mitophagy *** intervention in these diseasemodifying pathways may facilitate the development of novel PD therapeutics,despite the current lack of an established drug evaluation *** such,we reviewed the feasibility of employing the versatile global Pink1knockout(kO)rat model as a self-sufficient,spontaneous PD model for investigating both disease etiology and drug *** rats retain clinical features encompassing basal mitophagic flux changes with PD *** demonstrate the versatility of this PD rat model based on the incorporation of additional experimental insults to recapitulate the proinflammatory responses observed in PD patients.

Volunteered geographic information(VGI)is the assembly of spatial information based on public *** VGI has proliferated in recent years,assessing the quality of volunteer-contributed data has proven challenging,leading some to question the efficiency of such *** this paper,we compare several quality metrics for individual volunteers’*** data were the product of the‘Cropland Capture’game,in which several thousand volunteers assessed 165,000 images for the presence of cropland over the course of 6 *** compared agreement between volunteer ratings and an image’s majority classification with volunteer self-agreement on repeated images and expert *** also examined the impact of experience and learning on *** self-agreement was nearly always higher than agreement with majority classifications,and much greater than agreement with expert validations although these metrics were all positively *** quality showed a broad trend toward improvement with experience,but the highest accuracies were achieved by a handful of moderately active contributors,not the most active *** results emphasize the importance of a universal set of expert-validated tasks as a gold standard for evaluating VGI quality.

BACkGROUND:Conversion hepaticojejunostomy is considered the salvage intervention for biliary anastomotic stricture,a common complication of right-liver living donor liver transplantation with duct-to-duct anastomosis,after failed endoscopic *** aim of this study is to compare the outcomes of side-to-side hepaticojejunostomy with those of endto-side ***:Prospectively collected data of 402 adult patients who had undergone right-liver living donor liver transplantation with duct-to-duct anastomosis were *** of biliary anastomotic stricture was made based on clinical,biochemical,histological and radiological *** treatment was the first-line treatment of biliary anastomotic ***:Interventional radiological or endoscopic treatment failed to correct the biliary anastomotic stricture in 13 patients,so they underwent conversion *** of them received end-to-side hepaticojejunostomy and three received side-to-side *** the end-to-side group,two patients sustained hepatic artery injury requiring repeated microvascular anastomosis,two developed restenosis requiring further percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage and balloon dilatation,and two required revision *** the side-to-side group,one patient developed re-stenosis requiring further endoscopic retrograde cholangiography and balloon *** re-operation was needed in this ***,outcomes in the two groups were similar in terms of liver function and graft ***:Despite the similar outcomes,side-to-side hepaticojejunostomy may be a better option for bile duct reconstruction after failed interventional radiological or endoscopic treatment because it can decrease the chance of hepatic artery injury and allows future endoscopic treatment if re-stricture ***,more large-scale studies are warranted to validate the results.

Flexible thin-film transistors(TFTs)have attracted wide interest in the development of flexible and wearable displays or ***,the conventional high processing temperatures hinder the preparation of stable and reliable dielectric materials on flexible ***,we develop a stable laminated Al_(2)O_(3)/HfO_(2) insulator by atomic layer deposition at a relatively lower temperature of 150℃.A sputtered amorphous indium-gallium-zinc oxide(IGZO)with the stoichiometry of In_(0.37)Ga_(0.20)Zn_(0.18)O_(0.25) is used as the active channel *** flexible TFTs with bottom-gate top-contacted configuration are further fabricated on a flexible polyimide substrate with the Al_(2)O_(3)/HfO_(2) *** from the unique structural and compositional configuration in the nanolaminates consisting of amorphous Al_(2)O_(3),crystallized HfO_(2),and the aluminate Al-Hf-O phase,the as-prepared TFTs present the carrier mobilities of 9.7 cm^(2) V^(−1) s^(−1),ON/OFF ratio of-1.3×10^(6),subthreshold voltage of 0.1 V,saturated current up to 0.83 mA,and subthreshold swing of 0.256 V dec^(−1),signifying a high-performance flexible TFT,which simultaneously able to withstand the bending radius of 40 *** TFTs with nanolaminate insulator possess satisfactory humidity stability and hysteresis behavior in a relative humidity of 60-70%,a temperature of 25-30℃ *** yield of IGZO-based TFTs with the nanolaminate insulator reaches 95%.

Updating an authoritative Land Use and Land Cover(LULC)database requires many *** geographic information(VGI)involves citizens in the collection of data about their spatial *** is a growing interest in using existing VGI to update authoritative *** paper presents a framework aimed at integrating multi-source VGI based on a data fusion technique,in order to update an authoritative land use *** VGI data source is considered to be an independent source of information,which is fused together using Dempster-Shafer Theory(DST).The framework is tested in the updating of the authoritative land use data produced by the French National Mapping *** data sets were collected from several in-situ and remote campaigns run between 2018 and 2020 by contributors with varying *** data fusion approach achieved an overall accuracy of 85.6%for the 144 features having at least two contributions when the confidence threshold was set to *** the heterogeneity and limited amount of VGI used,the results are promising,with 99%of the LU polygons updated or *** results show the potential of using multi-source VGI to update or enrich authoritative LU data and potentially LULC data more generally。
