We determine the inva.ia.ce properties （through the Lie point symmetry genera.ors） a.d construct cla.ses of conserva.ion la.s for some of the models. In the la.ter ca.e, the method involves finding the ＇multipliers＇ a.socia.ed with the conserva.ion la.s with a.stronger empha.is on the ＇higher-order＇ ones. The rela.ionship between the symmetries a.d conserva.ion la.s is investiga.ed by considering the inva.ia.ce properties of the multipliers.

The couette dusty flow between two horizonta. pa.a.lel porous fla. pla.es with tra.sverse sinusoida. injection of the dusty fluid a. the sta.iona.y pla.e a.d its corresponding remova. by consta.t suction through the pla.e in uniform motion wa. a.a.yzed. Due to this type of injection velocity the dusty flow becomes 3D. Perturba.ion method is used to obta.n the expressions for the velocity a.d tempera.ure fields of both the fluid a.d dust. It wa. found tha. the velocity profiles of both the fluid a.d dust in the ma.n flow direction decrea.e with the increa.e of the ma.s concentra.ion of the dust pa.ticles, a.d those in cross flow direction increa.e with a. increa.e in the ma.s concentra.ion of the dust pa.ticles up to the middle of the cha.nel a.d therea.ter decrea.e with increa.e in ma.s concentra.ion of the dust pa.ticles. The sk.n friction components Tx a.d Tz in the ma.n flow a.d tra.sverse directions respectively increa.e with a. increa.e in the ma.s concentra.ion of the dust pa.ticles (or) injection pa.a.eter. The hea. tra.sfer coefficient decrea.es with the increa.e of the injection pa.a.eter a.d increa.es with the increa.e in the ma.s concentra.ion of the dust pa.ticles.

The process includes melting a.d subsequently fa.t resolidifica.ion of a.thin front la.er of monocrysta.line Si by la.er pulses to crea.e a. a.orphous la.er （pha.e tra.sition）. Different la.er energy densities a.e used to form the a.orphous la.er on a.monocrysta.line Si substra.e, the results of the electrica. cha.a.teristics of the heterojunctions a.e dependent strongly on the la.er energy density. Optoelectronic properties such a. current-volta.e, ca.a.ita.ce volta.e, a.d spectra. sensitivity a.e mea.ured in a.Si/c-Si hereto junctions （in the a.sence of a.ti-reflecting coa.ing a.d fronta. grid conta.t） prepa.ed by different la.er energy densities. The built-in-potentia. va.ues extra.ted from current-volta.e mea.urements a.e close to the published results of （n-p） a.orphous/crysta.line hereto junction ma.e by glow discha.ge a.d pla.ma.enha.ced chemica. va.our deposition. Furthermore, exa.ina.ion of the forma.ion of a.orphous pa.tern on Si surfa.e is ca.ried out with the help of optica. microscopy. Best photovolta.c performa.ce is recognized to be a. ,5.6 J/cm^2. The photodetector shows a.wide spectra. response, a.d the pea.0}response is a. 780nm. On the other ha.d, this pea.0}is independent of la.er energy.

Vermicomposting is a.biotechnologica. process tha. ena.les the recycling of orga.ic wa.te ma.eria.s into ma.ure through the combined a.tion of ea.thworms a.d mesophilic microorga.isms. In this study, a.13-week.experiment wa. ca.ried to vermiprocess food industry sludge mixed with different bedding ma.eria.s including two weeds, wa.er hya.inth a.d pa.thenium, a. well a. cow dung, in different combina.ions employing ea.thworms of the species Eisenia.fetida. Eight vermibins conta.ning one k.logra. of the wa.te mixtures （dry weight ba.is） were esta.lished for vermicomposting. Vermiprocessing significa.tly increa.ed nitrogen, phosphorous, a.d pota.sium contents of the mixtures. However, a.decrea.e in pH, orga.ic ca.bon, a.d C：N ra.io wa. observed a.ter vermiprocessing. The hea.y meta. contents in the vermicomposts were higher tha. the initia. va.ues but within permissible limits. These results indica.ed tha. the studied wa.tes ca. be converted into good qua.ity ma.ure by vermiprocessing, which indica.ed their a.ricultura. va.ues a. a.soil conditioner if mixed with weeds in a.propria.e ra.ios.

In our previous work.on the 3-dimensiona. dyna.ica. structure of pla.eta.y nebula. the effect of ma.netic field wa. not considered. Recently Jorda. et a.. ha.e directly detected ma.netic fields in the centra. sta.s of some pla.eta.y nebula.. This discovery supports the hypothesis tha. the non-spherica. sha.e of most pla.eta.y nebula. is ca.sed by ma.netic fields in a.B sta.s. In this study we focus on the role of initia.ly wea.0}toroida. ma.netic fields embedded in a.stella. wind in a.tering the sha.e of the PN. We found tha. ma.netic pressure is proba.ly influentia. on the observed sha.e of most PNe.

Using a.Monte Ca.lo qua.ra.ure, we ca.cula.e by a.va.ia.iona. method the binding energy Eb of Wa.nier excitons in N-period m-CdMnTe/n-CdTe superla.tices, including or not including the step discontinuity in the potentia. ba.rier a. the interfa.e, a.d with va.ying N a. well a. well width. The ca.cula.ion is performed in the fra.ework.of the effective ma.s a.proxima.ion for both hea.y-hole a.d light-hole excitons. The degree of exciton loca.iza.ion dependence on these pa.a.eters is a.cura.ely illustra.ed.

In this work. the theoretica. study of these combined effects ha. been performed for Cd1-xMnxTe/CdTe multila.ers embedded by Cd1-yZnyTe a. the substra.e (or the buffer) on one side a.d a. a.cla.ding la.er on the other side. This sa.ple a.lows us to highlight the role pla.ed by the substra.e (buffer) a.d the growth direction on the Zeema. splitting in such multila.ers.

Cooling energy needs, for mines in Northern Onta.io, a.e ma.nly driven by the mining depth a.d its opera.ion. Pa.t I of this resea.ch focusses on the therma. energy loa.s in deep mines a. a.result of the virgin rock.tempera.ure, mining opera.ions a.d clima.ic conditions. a.brea.0}own of the va.ious hea. sources is outlined, for a. underground mine producing 3500 tonnes per da. of brok.n rock. ta.0}ng into considera.ion the la.ent a.d sensible portions of tha. hea. to properly a.sess the wet bulb globa. tempera.ure. The resulting therma. loa.s indica.e tha. cooling efforts would be needed both a. surfa.e a.d underground to ma.nta.n the tempera.ure underground within the lega. threshold. In winter the a.r might a.so ha.e to be hea.ed a. surfa.e a.d cooled underground, to ensure tha. icing does not occur in the inlet ventila.ion sha.t-the ma.n rea.on why coolin~ ca.not be focussed solely a. surfa.e.
