Layered double hydroxide（LDH） comprising of Co^2＋ and La^3＋-ions with acetate counter anion was successfully synthesized by hydrogen peroxide catalyzed hydrolysis reaction and characterized extensively. The observed reflections in the powder X-ray diffraction pattern could be indexed in P3 space group with a=0.316 nm and c=2.97 nm. Lattice fringes of distances corresponding to the peak. observed in X-ray diffraction pattern were observed in high resolution transmission electron microscopic images. UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy results confirmed the presence of Co（OH）6 along with the presence of charge-transfer band due to the interlayer carboxylate anion. Magnetization measurements at room temperature indicated high spin configuration of Co^2＋-ion in the sample exhibiting paramagnetic behavior. The mixed metal oxide from calcination was used to reconstruct the parent layered structure. Intercalation experiments with other organic anions in Co-La LDH proved be successful.

On the basis of a three year record of Radiosonde observations over Indian region, the autocorrelation function and structure function of the humidity mixing ratio (r) were computed for 850 hPa level. These are necessary for the construction of a suitaole objective analysis scheme for humidity over Indian region using optimum interpolation method. The statistics were derived for the monsoon period (June through September) for 850 hPa *** order to model the humidity correlation for Indian region, two types of curves were fitted: (i) μ(p) = α exp ( - bp), (ii) μ(p) = A exp (-Bp2) where n is the autocorrelation function -a function of distance p-between two observing stations. It was found that the best description of humidity correlation function was given by Eq. (1). The value of 'a' gives a quantitative impression of the observation error. Further, the mean random errors were computed from structure functions, the weighting factors for the observing stations with respect to each grid point were

In this work.we design a multisensory IoT-based online vitals monitor(hereinafter referred to as the VITALS)to sense four bedside physiological parameters including pulse(heart)rate,body temperature,blood pressure,and periph-eral oxygen ***,the proposed system constantly transfers these signals to the analytics system which aids in enhancing diagnostics at an earlier stage as well as monitoring after *** core hardware of the VITALS includes commercial off-the-shelf sensing devices/medical equipment,a powerful microcontroller,a reliable wireless communication module,and a big data analytics *** extracts human vital signs in a pre-programmed interval of 30 min and sends them to big data analytics system through the WiFi module for further *** use Apache k.fk.(to gather live data streams from connected sen-sors),Apache Spark.to categorize the patient vitals and notify the medical pro-fessionals while identifying abnormalities in physiological parameters),Hadoop Distributed File System(HDFS)(to archive data streams for further analysis and long-term storage),Spark.SQL,Hive and Matplotlib(to support caregivers to access/visualize appropriate information from collected data streams and to explore/understand the health status of the individuals).In addition,we develop a mobile application to send statistical graphs to doctors and patients to enable them to monitor health conditions *** proposed system is implemented on three patients for 7 days to check.the effectiveness of sensing,data processing,and data transmission *** validate the system accuracy,we compare the data values collected from established sensors with the measured readouts using a commercial healthcare monitor,the Welch Allyn®Spot *** pro-posed system provides improved care solutions,especially for those whose access to care services is limited.

The removal of trace propyne(C_(3)H_(4))from propyne/propylene(C_(3)H_(4)/C_(3)H_(6))mixtures is a technical and challenging task.during the production of polymer-grade propylene in view of their very similar size and physical *** some progress has been made,it is still very challenging to use some highly stable and commercially available porous materials via an energy-efficient adsorptive separation ***,we report the ultrafine tuning of the pore apertures in type-A zeolites for the highly efficient removal of trace amounts of C_(3)H_(4)from C_(3)H_(4)/C_(3)H_(6)*** resulting ion-exchanged zeolite 5 A exhibits a large C_(3)H_(4)adsorption capacity(2.3 mmol g^(-1)under 10^(-4)MPa)and high C_(3)H_(4)/C_(3)H_(6)selectivity at room temperature,which were mainly attributed to the ultrafine-tuned pore size that selectively block. C_(3)H_(6)molecules,while maintaining the stro ng adsorption of C_(3)H_(4)at low pressure *** purity of C_(3)H_(6)(>99.9999%)can be directly obtained on this material under ambient conditions,as demonstrated by the experimental break.hrough curves obtained for both 1/99 and 0.1/99.9(V V)C_(3)H_(4)/C_(3)H_(6) mixtures.
