Artificial photosynthesis is deemed as an efficient protocol for transforming abundant solar energy into valuable fuel. In this paper, the well-defined one-dimensional(1D) core–shell MnO_(2)@Cds hybrids were constructed by employing MnO_(2) nanotubes and Cds nanoparticles as nano-building blocks via a chemical coprecipitation route. The rationally designed core–shell structure provided an intimate heterojunction interface between the Cds shell and MnO_(2) core. All the MnO_(2)@Cds core–shell nanocomposites possess higher H_(2) evolution rate through visible light irradiation contrary to pristine Cds, and the optimal MnO_(2)@Cds hybrid exhibits the utmost H_(2) evolution rate of 3.94 mmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1), which is2.8-fold higher compared with that of Cds. Appertaining to XPs and Mott-schottky(M-s) analysis, such enhanced photocatalytic H_(2) generation of MnO_(2)@Cds heterojunction was ascribed to an s-scheme mechanism, which suppressed the charge recombination along with a fast detachment of electron–hole pairs(e^(-)–h^(+)) and significantly improved the severance of carriers, thus improved H_(2) evolution performance. These findings envision a new insight into the development of s-scheme heterostructure for photocatalytic H_(2) generation.

Mg-4Zn-1RE-0.5Zr (ZE41) Mg alloy is extensively used in the aerospace and automobile *** order to improve the applicability and performance,this alloy was engineered with in-situ Ti B2reinforcement to form Ti B2/ZE41 *** high temperature deformation behavior and manufacturability of the newly developed Ti B2/ZE41 composite and the parent ZE41 Mg alloy were studied via establishing constitutive modeling of flow stress,deformation activation energy and processing map over a temperature range of 250℃-450℃ and strain rate range of 0.001 s-1-10 *** predicted flow stress behavior of both materials were found to be well consistent with the experimental values.A significant improvement in activation energy was found in Ti B2/ZE41 composite (171.54 k J/mol) as compared to the ZE41 alloy (148.15 k J/mol) due to the dispersed strengthening of in-situ Ti *** processing maps were developed via dynamic material modeling.A wider workability domain and higher peak efficiency (45%) were observed in Ti B2/ZE41 composite as compared to ZE41 alloy (41%).The Dynamic recrystallization is found to be the dominating deformation mechanism for both materials;however,particle stimulated nucleation was found to be an additional mode of deformation in Ti B2/ZE41 *** twinning and stress induced cracks were observed in both the materials at low temperature and high strain rate.A narrow range of instability zone is found in the present Ti B2/ZE41 composite among the existing published literature on Mg based *** detailed microstructural characterization was carried out in both workability and instability domains to establish the governing deformation mechanisms.

One-hundred years have passed since the original description of the commonly described phenomenon of persistent abdominal symptoms being triggered by an acute enteric infection. This first account was generated out of astute observations by sir Arthur Hurst in World War I. Additional descriptions followed from military and non-military practitioners adding the evidence which has transitioned this recognized condition from association to causation. While mechanistic understanding is an area of active pursuit, this historical accounting of a centuries progress highlights important advances and contributions of military medicine and scientists to advances benefiting global populations.

Background:Bite mark identification is based on the individuality of a dentition and helps in identifying the *** use of three-dimensional(3D)analysis of forensic evidence is highlighted in comparison with traditional *** has been used in registering bite mark on food *** our knowledge this is the first study where CBCT is used to register bite mark from human *** and Objective:To signify the potential of CBCT in registering and analysing the bite mark on human skin and to analyse various identifying *** and Method:60 subjects of either sex were asked to bite their own forearm and alginate impression of the maxillary and mandible dentition was taken and cast was *** bitemark and cast was subjected to CBCT scanning and parameters like arch shape,inter canine width,mesio distal dimension of anterior teeth,and individual characteristics like rotation,buccal/lingual tilting of teeth was noted and compared and assigned a score using simplified version ofABFO scoring ***:Highly significant result with 56.6%definite match,26.66%probable match and 16.66%possible match were obtained using ***:CBCT is a non-destructive,accurate,efficient,objective and reproducible *** of all parameter mesio-distal dimension of teeth is the best parameter to judge the bitemark on skin.

Aims: The purpose of this study was to determine the sex of primary and permanent tooth pulp tissue under different environmental conditions using deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) analysis and the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification method. Materials and Methods: For this study, 40 permanent and primary teeth (20 males and 20 females) that were scheduled for extraction were used. For 6 months, the teeth were divided into four groups of ten (5 males and 5 females) based on different environmental conditions. The pulp was extracted from each tooth, DNA was isolated using QIAGEN’s DNeasy Blood and Tissue kit, and sex was determined using a PCR technique. Results: DNA was extracted from all 40 samples subjected to various environmental conditions, but sex was correctly determined in only 90% of the samples. Conclusions: PCR-based sex determination using primary and permanent teeth under different environmental conditions for up to 6 months is a reliable technique with high accuracy.

A heuristic technique is developed for a nonlinear magnetohydrodynamics （MHD） Jeffery-Hamel problem with the help of the feed-forward artificial neural net- work （ANN） optimized with the genetic algorithm （GA） and the sequential quadratic programming （sQP） method. The twodimensional （2D） MHD Jeffery-Hamel problem is transformed into a higher order boundary value problem （BVP） of ordinary differential equations （ODEs）. The mathematical model of the transformed BVP is formulated with the ANN in an unsupervised manner. The training of the weights of the ANN is carried out with the evolutionary calculation based on the GA hybridized with the sQP method for the rapid local convergence. The proposed scheme is evaluated on the variants of the Jeffery-Hamel flow by varying the Reynold number, the Hartmann number, and the an- gles of the walls. A large number of simulations are performed with an extensive analysis to validate the accuracy, convergence, and effectiveness of the scheme. The comparison of the standard numerical solution and the analytic solution establishes the correctness of the proposed designed methodologies.

Grass carp reovirus (GCRV) is a relatively new virus first isolated in China and is a member of the Aquareovirus genus of the Reoviridae family. Recent report of genomic se-quencing showed that GCRV shared high degree of homology with mammalian reovirus (MRV). As a step of our effort to understand the structural basis of GCRV pathogenesis, we determined the three-dimensional (3D) structure of GCRV capsid at 17 ? resolution by electron cryomicro-scopy. Each GCRV capsid has a multilayered organization, consisting of an RNA core, an inner, middle and outer protein layer. The outer layer is made up of 200 trimers that are arranged on an incomplete T=13 icosahedral lattice. A characteristic feature of this layer is the depression re-sulting from the absence of trimers around the peripentonal positions, revealing the underlying trimers on the middle layer. There are 120 subunits in the inner layer arranged with T=1 symme-try. These structural features are common to other members of the Reoviridae. Moreover, sDs-PAGE analysis showed that GCRV virions contain seven structural proteins (VP1-VP7). These structural proteins have a high degree of sequence homology to MRV, consistent with the structural similarities observed in our study. The high structural similarities of isolated GCRV and MRV suggest that future structural studies focusing on GCRV entering into and replicating within its host cell are necessary in order to fully understand the structural basis of GCRV pathogenesis.
