Background:Hepatitis B virus(HBV)has affected over 300 million people worldwide which causes to induce mostly liver disease and liver *** is a member of the family Hepadnaviridae which is a small DNA virus with unusual characters like ***,hepatoprotective drugs provoke some side effects in human *** the reason,this study aims to identify alternative drug molecules from the natural source of medicinal plants with smaller quantity of side effects than those conventional drugs in treating ***:We developed computational methods for calculating drug and target binding resemblance using the Maestro v10.2 of Schrodinger *** target and ligand molecules were obtained from recognized *** molecules of 40 phytoconstituents were retrieved from variety of plants after we executed crucial analyses such as molecular docking and absorption,distribution,metabolism,and excretion(ADME)***:In the docking analysis,the natural analogues repandusinic acid showed better docking scores of-14.768 with good binding *** remaining bioactive molecules corilagin,furosin,nirurin,iso-quercetin and gallocatechin also showed better docking ***:This computational analysis reveals that repandusinic acid is a suitable drug candidate for ***,we recommend that this analogue is suitable in further exploration using in vitro studies.

Reverse vaccinology method was used to predict the monovalent peptide vaccine candidate to produce antibodies for therapeutic purpose and to predict tetravalent vaccine candidate to act as a common vaccine to cover all the dengue virus serotypes. Envelope（E）-proteins of DENV-1-4 serotypes were used for vaccine prediction using NCBI,Uniprot/Swissprot, Swiss-prot viewer, VaxiJen V2.0, TMHMM, BCPREDS, Propred-1, Propred and MHC Pred. Eproteins of DENV-1-4 serotypes were identified as antigen from which T cell epitopes, through B cell epitopes, were predicted to act as peptide vaccine candidates. Each selected T cell epitope of E-protein was confirmed to act as vaccine and to induce complementary antibody against particular serotype of dengue virus. Chimeric tetravalent vaccine was formed by the conjugation of four vaccines, each from four dengue serotypes to act as a common vaccine candidate for all the four dengue serotypes. It can be justifiably concluded that the monovalent 9-mer T cell epitope for each DENV serotype can be used to produce specific antibody against dengue virus and a chimeric common tetravalent vaccine candidate to yield a comparative vaccine to cover any of the four dengue virus serotype. This vaccine is expected to be highly immunogenic against dengue fever.

Objective:To identify the in vitro antiplasmodial activity of seaweed plants against Plasmodium falciparum ***:A total of eight seaweeds were collecled from kanvakumari district,Tainilnadu,*** in vitro antiplasmodial activity was performed in 96 well plates against Plasmodium falciparum,and preliminary phytochemcial analysis were performed for the ***:Of the selected plants Enteromorpha intestinalis(2.61%) showed maximum percentage of *** minimum concentration of inhibitory(IC_(50)) value was observed with Chaetomorpha antennina[(26.37±4.14)μg/ml.]further,the positive controls such as chloroquine and artemether showed antiplasmodial activities(IC_(50)) with(19.10±5.93) and(6.03±0.21)μg/mL concentrations,*** preliminary phytochemical analysis of the seaweed extracts showed a variety of phytochemical constituents such as carboxylic acids,phenols,protein, resins,steroids and ***:The antiplasmodial activity of the seaweed extract might due to the presence of sugars and phenolic *** the present findings,it is concluded that,the seaweed extract of Chaetomorpha antennina can be further used as a putative antiplasmodial drugs in near future.

Effectiveness of sodium silicate as gangue depressants in iron ore slimes flotation

The recovery of iron from the screw classifier overflow slimes by direct flotation was studied. The relative effectiveness of sodium silicates with different silica-to-soda mole ratios as depressants for silica and silicate bearing minerals was investigated. Silica-to-soda mole ratio and silicate dosage were found to have significant effect on the separation efficiency. The results show that an increase of Fe content in the concentrate is observed with concomitant reduction in SiO2 and A1203 levels when a particular type of sodium silicate at a proper dosage is used. The concentrate of 58.89wt% Fe, 4.68wt% SiO2, and 5.28wt% A1203 with the weight recovery of 38.74% and the metal recovery of 41.13% can be obtained from the iron ore slimes with 54.44wt% Fe, 6.72wt% SiO2, and 6.80wt% A1203, when NazSiO3 with a silica-to-soda mole ratio of 2.19 is used as a depressant at a feed rate of 0.2 kg/t.

Objective:To evaluate the antihyperglycemic activity of leaves of Hyptis suaveolens using streptozotocin ***:Hyptis suaveolens extract(HSE) 250 and 500 mg/kg body weight was administered orally to streptozotocin induced diabetes,once daily for 21 ***:A significant reduction in blood glucose was observed in diabetic animals treated with HSE at different doses when compared with diabetic *** of triglyceride,total cholesterol,low density *** low density lipoprotein were decreased while administering HSE at different doses,compared with their control values in diabetic ***:Our results show that HSE possesses significant antihyperglycemic activity which might be attributed to stimulating effects on glucose utilization and antioxidant enzyme.

A cost-effective component minimized embedded controlled Z-source inverter for induction motor drive is presented. The proposed topology combines the advantages of a traditional four-switch three-phase inverter with the advantages of the z impedance network (two inductors in series and two X connected capacitors). This new topology, besides the self-boost property, has low switch count and it can operate as a buck-boost inverter. As a result, the new embedded controlled reduced switch Z-source inverter system provides ride through capability during voltage sags, reduces line harmonics, improves power factor, reliability and extends output voltage range. Analysis, simulation and experiment result will be presented to demonstrate these new features.

A new method of analysis namely, Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA) is applied to the Indian Summer Monsoon (June-September) Rainfall (ISMR) series. The method is efficient in extracting the statistically significant oscillations with periods 2.8 and 2.3 year from the white noise of the ISMR series. The study shows that 2.8 / 2.3 year cycle captures the variability of the ISMR related to Southern Oscillation / Quasi Biennial Oscillation. The temporal structure of these oscillations show that these are in phase in extreme (excess and drought) monsoon conditions as well as in El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) years. Both these oscillations show minimum variability during the period 1920-1940 and there is an increasing trend in the variability of these oscillations in the recent decades. The study enables to obtain pure signal consisting of reconstructed time series using these two Oscillations, from the original white noise series.

A prevalent diabetic complication is Diabetic Retinopathy(DR),which can damage the retina’s veins,leading to a severe loss of *** treated in the early stage,it can help to prevent vision *** since its diagnosis takes time and there is a shortage of ophthalmologists,patients suffer vision loss even before ***,early detection of DR is the necessity of the *** primary purpose of the work is to apply the data fusion/feature fusion technique,which combines more than one relevant feature to predict diabetic retinopathy at an early stage with greater *** procedures for diabetic retinopathy analysis are fundamental in taking care of these *** profound learning for parallel characterization has accomplished high approval exactness’s,multi-stage order results are less noteworthy,especially during beginning phase *** Connected Convolutional Networks are suggested to detect of Diabetic Retinopathy on retinal *** presented model is trained on a Diabetic Retinopathy Dataset having 3,662 images given by *** results suggest that the training accuracy of 93.51%0.98 precision,0.98 recall and 0.98 F1-score has been achieved through the best one out of the three models in the proposed *** same model is tested on 550 images of the kaggle 2015 dataset where the proposed model was able to detect No DR images with 96%accuracy,Mild DR images with 90%accuracy,Moderate DR images with 89%accuracy,Severe DR images with 87%accuracy and Proliferative DR images with 93%accuracy.
