The present paper deals with the Sharma-Tasso-Olver-Burgers equation(STOBE)and its conservation laws and kink *** precisely,the formal Lagrangian,Lie symmetries,and adjoint equations of the STOBE are firstly constructed to retrieve its conservation *** solitons of the STOBE are then extracted through adopting a series of newly well-designed approaches such as kudryashov and exponential *** graphs in 2 and 3D postures are formally portrayed to reveal the dynamical features of kink *** to the authors’knowledge,the outcomes of the current investigation are new and have been listed for the first time.

The current paper presents a thorough study on the pull-in instability of nanoelectromechanical rectangular plates under intermolecular, hydrostatic, and thermal actuations. Based on the kirchhoff theory along with Eringen's nonlocal elasticity theory, a nonclassical model is developed. Using the Galerkin method(GM), the governing equation which is a nonlinear partial differential equation(NLPDE) of the fourth order is converted to a nonlinear ordinary differential equation(NLODE) in the time domain. Then, the reduced NLODE is solved analytically by means of the homotopy analysis method. At the end, the effects of model parameters as well as the nonlocal parameter on the deflection, nonlinear frequency, and dynamic pull-in voltage are explored.

Prediction of sediment distribution in reservoirs is an important issue for dam designers to determine the reservoir active storage *** proposed to calculate sediment distribution are varied,and mainly *** all the methods currently available,only area-reduction and areaincrement methods are considered as the principal methods for prediction of sediment *** this paper,data of 16 reservoirs in the United States are used to propose a new empirical method for prediction of sediment distribution in *** the proposed method,reservoir sediment distribution is related to sediment volume and original reservoir *** validate the accuracy of the new proposed method,obtained results are compared with survey data for two *** results of this investigation showed that the proposed method has an acceptable accuracy.

The present paper studies the unstable nonlinear Schr¨odinger equations, describing the time evolution of disturbances in marginally stable or unstable media. More precisely, the unstable nonlinear Schr¨odinger equation and its modified form are analytically solved using two efficient distinct techniques, known as the modified kudraysov method and the sine-Gordon expansion approach. As a result, a wide range of new exact traveling wave solutions for the unstable nonlinear Schr¨odinger equation and its modified form are formally obtained.

The effects of a harmonically exciting monopole source on an infinitely long cylindrical cavity embedded entirely within a fluid-saturated poroelastic formation of infinite extent are examined theoretically. It is assumed that the source is located outside the cavity at a specified distance from the borehole axis. The magnitudes of the hoop and radial stresses beside the pore pressures exerted on the interface and inside the porous medium surrounding the borehole are calculated and discussed. Biot's poroelastic modeling along with three types of boundary conditions for the cylindrical interface including the ideal fluid, empty borehole, and rigid inclusion with a hard boundary is employed for the analysis. Utilizing a proper translational addition theorem for expressing the incident spherical wave in terms of cylindrical wave expansions, the proposed boundary conditions at the interface are satisfied. Stresses are formulated by means of wave potential functions in a three-dimensional(3D) manner. The effects of the frequency and the radial distance between the source and borehole on the induced stresses are examined for the first cylindrical modes over frequency spectra. Two permeability conditions for the interface and three types of soils for the porous formation are considered throughout the analysis. To give an overall outline of the study, a numerical example is presented. The results clearly indicate that the distance is a key parameter and has considerable effects on the induced stress values. In addition, the interface permeability condition and soil characteristics play an important role in determining the dynamic response of the borehole. Finally,the obtained results are compared with the relevant analyses existing in the literature for some limit cases, and good agreement is achieved.

Extensive neurodegeneration is a hallmark of traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI) that underlies permanent sensorimotor and autonomic impairments (Alizadeh et al.,2019).Following the primary impact,the spinal cord undergoes a cascade of secondary injury mechanisms that are driven by disruption of the blood-spinal cord ba rrier,vascula r inju ry,glial reactivity,neu roinfla mmation,oxidative stress,lipid peroxidation,and glutamate excitotoxicity that culminate in neuronal and oligodendroglial cell death,demyelination,and axonal damage(Alizadeh et al.,2019).To achieve a meaningful functional recovery after SCI,regeneration of new neurons and oligodendrocytes and their successful growth and integration within the neural network are critical steps for reconstructing the damaged spinal cord tissue (Fischer et al.,2020).
