Shrimp aquaculture is an important source of revenue for the state of Sarawak, Malaysia. However, there were concerns on the impact of shrimp farming on the mangrove ecosystem due to the discharge of shrimp pond water to the surrounding environment and potential self-pollution through the intake of surrounding water for the shrimp ponds. therefore, the objectives of this study were to determine the water quality of the harvesting pond water and quantify the pollutants loadings. Samplings were conducted in three ponds and three channels near the pond outflow in a commercial shrimp farm during complete draining of water at harvest. Results indicated that tSS and Chl-a were high in both the ponds and channels. total ammonia-nitrogen was the predominant form of the inorganic nitrogen and the mean values in both the ponds and channels were more than 1 mg/L which exceeded the maximum recommended for fish. therefore, the water quality of the ponds and channel indicate that pond effluent should not be discharged directly into the surrounding environment but treated and nutrients recovered. Loads of total suspended solids, BOD5, inorganic nitrogen, ammonia nitrogen, soluble reactive phosphorus and Chl-a of the effluent were quantified.

Developments along the Santubong River basin may have an impact on the aquatic ecosystem. to determine the impacts of activities on the water quality, ten stations were selected for water quality study over 9 months. Results show that salinity increases from 14.0 PSU upstream to 30.4 PSU downstream. Lowest DO range was 2.3-4.1 mg/L. tSS ranged was 20-135 mg/L and the highest was observed near construction and residential areas, the second and third highest near shrimp culture discharge areas. BOD5 was the highest near construction and residential areas. BOD5 of a station near shrimp culture was not significantly different from the residential areas. two stations near shrimp culture site also recorded the highest Chl-a. the highest ammonia-nitrogen, nitrite-nitrogen and reactive phosphorus were observed at stations near shrimp farm sites whereas nitrate-nitrogen was the highest near construction and residential areas. Cage culture site showed the highest phosphorus and second highest nitrite-nitrogen and ammonia-nitrogen. this study showed that tSS and BOD5 were elevated near residential and construction areas and nutrients were elevated near shrimp farm sites resulting in algal bloom. therefore, it is recommended that residential and shrimp farm discharge be treated to acceptable quality before discharge to protect the aquatic resources.

当前技术条件下,风能是众多清洁能源中发展相对稳健的一种能源。由于地理位置优越,英国在风电开发上具有一定优势.此外,成熟的电力市场机制为风电的商业化运行提供了稳定的平台.当前英国电网中风力发电已占有了相当的比例,并规划了长远的发展目标.风机由于其电气特性和风能特点,存在一些常规发电厂没有的问题。基于此,简要介绍英国风电发展、调度特点以及存在的各类问题,并概括性综述大规模风能接入后电网公司面临的挑战以及一些解决方法和设想,为中国风力发电产业的发展提供参考.

How to improve a urology outpatient service? A survey of patient satisfaction

AIM: to investigate and improve our out-patients department patient satisfaction, provide minimum consultation delay and appropriate consultation duration to meet with targets. MEtHODS: We distributed the modified satisfaction with outpatient service(SWOPS) questionnaires developed for use in Irish hospitals by the Health Services Research between August and December 2012. the patient disclosed their age and sex and completed the modified SWOPS questionnaire anonymously. Every patient was eligible to participate in the study who attended any of the Urology Outpatient Clinics. Patients lacking capacity to consent were excluded. Additionally, each patient was only permitted to complete one questionnaire regardless of repeat attendances within the 4 mo study period. the answers to every question were presented as percentages. One-way ANOVA was used to establish whether there was a significant difference in appointment delay and "Overall Satisfaction"on the different clinic days. the unpaired t-test was applied to establish whether "Overall Satisfaction" was affected by diagnosis(benign or malignant). Paired t-test was used to establish whether "Overall Satisfaction" was affected by appointment delay and appointment length. RESULtS: three hundred and forty-eight questionnaires were completed with an overall > 65% participation rate. Eighty-one point six percent were male and 18.4% female with a mean age of 65 ± 21 years. Mean delay time was 32 min, which 30.6% stated should be an improvement priority. the delay times for Wednesday(mean 13 min) were significantly(P than for other days(mean 36 min). Generally 12-15 min outpatient appointment length is acceptable and adequate for patients as 97.70% suggested, however 31.60% of patients would favour longer duration. 目的纵跳是一种基础的运动类型,常见于各类运动项目之中。局部的肌肉疲劳会导致纵跳落地阶段的下肢运动学、动力学参数发生改变。在于跑步诱导的疲劳对于纵跳表现以及下肢运动学、动力学参数的即刻影响。方法纳入15名成年男性受试者,疲劳方式采用跑步诱导疲劳,疲劳前后采集3次成功纵跳的运动学以及动力学数据。采用Wilcoxon符号秩检验及配对样本t检验对下肢运动学、动力学数据以及纵跳高度进行分析。结果疲劳并未影响纵跳高度以及垂直地面反作用力峰值。

AIM: to evaluate daclatasvir vs telaprevir, each combined with peginterferon alfa-2a/ribavirin(peg IFN/RBV), in treatment-naive hepatitis C virus(HCV) genotype(Gt) 1-infected ***: In this phase 3, randomized, open-label, noninferiority study, 602 patients were randomly assigned(2:1) to daclatasvir vs telaprevir, stratified by IL28 B rs12979860 host genotype(CC vs non-CC), cirrhosis status(compensated cirrhosis vs no cirrhosis), and HCV Gt1 subtype(Gt1a vs Gt1b). Patients were selected by study inclusion criteria from a total of 793 enrolled patients. Patients received daclatasvir 60 mg once daily or telaprevir 750 mg 3 times daily plus peg IFN/RBV. Daclatasvir recipients received 24 wk of daclatasvir plus peg IFN/RBV; those without an extended rapid virologic response(e RVR; undetectable HCV-RNA at weeks 4 and 12) received an additional 24 wk of peg IFN/RBV. telaprevir-treated patients received 12 wk of telaprevir plus peg IFN/RBV followed by 12(with e RVR) or 36(no e RVR) wk of peg IFN/RBV. the primary objective was to compare for noninferiority of sustained virologic response rates at posttreatment week 12(SVR12) in Gt1b-infected patients. Key secondary objectives were to demonstrate that the rates of anemia(hemoglobin ted events, through week 12, were lower with daclatasvir + peg IFN/RBV than with telaprevir + peg IFN/RBV among Gt1b-infected patients. Resistance testing was performed using population-based sequencing of the NS5 A region for all patients at baseline, and for patients with virologic failure or relapse and HCV-RNA ≥ 1000 IU/m L, to investigate any link between NS5 A polymorphisms associated with daclatasvir resistance and virologic outcome. RESULtS: Patient demographics and disease characteristics were generally balanced across treatment arms; however, there was a higher proportion of black/African Americans in the daclatasvir groups(6.0% and 8.2% in the Gt1 b and Gt1 a groups, respectively) than in the telaprevi

目的了解西昌邛海周边血吸虫病重流行区沼气建设使用情况及农户接受程度。方法用问卷调查方式随机抽查10个自然村的254户,了解有关沼气修建、使用、农户接受程度等情况;访谈43名居民,了解其对沼气建设的态度。结果已建沼气户仅占20.5%,建沼气户与未建户的年经济收入差异无统计学意义(t=0.354,P>0.05);96.2%建沼气户表示满意;农户对政府补助有较严重的依赖性。结论尽管农户对沼气建设有良好的认同,但沼气池的推广还需进一步加强,农户对沼气修建与寄生虫病流行关系的认识以及使用沼气的习惯,尚待进一步提高和改善。
