This study investigates the possibilities offered by the development of graphene environment technology that can contribute to new and effective approaches for the transition to an ecologically benign *** analyze the research and development progress in graphene environment technology,graphene environment technology research trends of South Korea for the years 2009e2020 are investigated by acquiring information pertaining to national research and development projects related to graphene environment technology from the National Science and Technology Information *** structured and unstructured data are analyzed using diverse text-mining methods,such as keyword frequency analysis,association rule mining,and topic *** results indicate that graphene research in South Korea is focused primarily on graphene use in batteries and energy-storage devices,such as solar cells,fuel cells,and secondary *** study can help understand the manner by which the South Korean government has been investing in the research and development of graphene environment technology;additionally,it discusses the future applications and prospects of graphene for the next decade.

Electrical conductivity(EC)of soil-water extracts is commonly used to assess soil ***,its conversion to the EC of saturated soil paste extracts(ECe),the standard measure of soil salinity,is currently required for practical *** many regression models can be used to obtain ECe from the EC of soil-water extracts,the application of a site-specific model to different sites is not straightforward due to confounding soil factors such as soil *** study was conducted to develop a universal regression model to estimate a conversion factor(CF)for predicting EC_(e) from EC of soil-water extracts at a 1:5 ratio(EC_(1:5)),by employing a site-specific soil texture(i.e.,sand content).A regression model,CF=8.9105e^(0.0106sand)/1.2984(r^(2)=0.97,P<0.001),was developed based on the results of coastal saline soil surveys(n=173)and laboratory experiments using artificial saline soils with different textures(n=6,sand content=10%-65%)and salinity levels(n=7,salinity=1-24 dS m^(-1)).Model performance was validated using an independent dataset and demonstrated that EC_(e) prediction using the developed model is more suitable for highly saline soils than for low saline *** feasibility of the regression model should be tested at other *** soil factors affecting EC conversion factor also need to be explored to revise and improve the model through further studies.

Transcranial focused ultrasound stimulation is a promising therapeutic modality for human brain disorders because of its noninvasiveness,long penetration depth,and versatile spatial control capability through beamforming and beam ***,the skull presents a major hurdle for successful applications of ultrasound ***,skull-induced focal aberration limits the capability for accurate and versatile targeting of brain *** addition,there lacks a fully functional preclinical neuromodulation system suitable to conduct behavioral ***,we report a miniature ultrasound system for neuromodulation applications that is capable of highly accurate multiregion targeting based on acoustic *** work includes the design and implementation of an acoustic lens for targeting brain regions with compensation for skull aberration through time-reversal recording and a phase conjugation ***,we utilize MEMS and 3D-printing technology to implement a 0.75-g lightweight neuromodulation system and present in vivo characterization of the packaged system in freely moving *** preclinical system is capable of accurately targeting the desired individual or multitude of brain regions,which will enable versatile and explorative behavior studies using ultrasound neuromodulation to facilitate widespread clinical adoption.

目的报道1例伴横纹肌样特征的肺癌,并复习相关文献。方法石蜡包埋组织连续切片分别做HE染色、Alcianblue黏液组化染色和免疫组化染色,光镜观察。结果肿瘤突出于右上肺支气管腔,HE染色显示在差分化癌组织中可见横纹肌样特征的癌细胞,约占30%,其细胞质丰富,细胞质内可见明显的嗜酸性包涵体,细胞核偏位,可见核仁。癌组织黏液染色阴性。免疫组化染色显示,vimentin和p63呈弥漫性强阳性,CKpan、CAM5·2、TTF-1和synaptophysin呈灶性阳性,嗜酸性包涵体对CAM5·2呈阳性反应,CEA、chromograninA、SCLC、myoglobin及desmin阴性。结论伴横纹肌样特征的肺癌是原发性肺癌少见的特殊亚型,可存在于差分化非小细胞肺癌中,并可显示灶性神经内分泌分化。

Inverted cystic tubulovillous adenoma involving Brunner’s glands of duodenum

Benign neoplasia of the duodenum are very rare. Moreover, duodenal tubulovillous adenomas are more uncommon lesions. The microscopic structure of tubulovillous adenoma has frond-like projection of mucosa with branching papillary structure and generally upward growth into the lumen. We describe a 72-year-old man who showed aduodenal tubulovillous adenoma with unusual inverted cystic growth pattern. Interestingly, this tubulovillous adenomatous lesion was interrupted by gastric metaplasia in the deep portion of the cyst and was closely surrounded by Brunner’s glands. Although histogenesis of gastric metaplasia of duodenum is not fully understood, Brunner’s glands has been suggested as a precursor for gastric metaplasia. Therefore, these findings argued that this adenoma arises from Brunner’s glands through gastric metaplasia. This is the first case of inverted cystic tubulovillous adenoma involving Brunner’s glands of duodenum with gastric metaplasia.

BACKGROUND High-intensity focused ultrasound(HIFU) ablation is a minimally invasive approach in gynecology that is used to manage uterine *** this procedure is safe and effective,adverse outcomes are becoming a major *** SUMMARY We present a case of ventral hernia that occurred as a rare and delayed complication of HIFU ablation for uterine fibroids *** patient came to the hospital with abdominal bloating that occurred 6 mo after ultrasound-guided HIFU ablation for managing uterine *** ventral hernia,which occurred due to atrophied muscle layers following the procedure,was confirmed by imaging studies and intraoperative *** required a hernia repair with mesh and hysterectomy for definitive treatment of uterine *** High-intensity ultrasound ablation should be performed only on appropriate *** should be educated about potential complications of the procedure and the possibility of subsequent ***-procedural long-term follow-up for detecting delayed adverse effects is important.

NdFeB magnets are third-generation permanent magnets that are employed as indispensable components in various ***,rare-earth elements(REEs)such as Dy and Nd must be efficiently recovered from end-of-life magnets to enable resource circulation and reinforce unstable supply *** that end,this paper reports synergistically performing core/shell-structured composite fibers(CSCFs)containing sodium polyacrylate and nanoporous zeolitic imidazolate framework-8(NPZIF-8)nanocrystals as a readily recoverable adsorbent with an exceptional REE-adsorbing *** CSCF core forms an NPZIF-8 nanocrystal shell on the fiber surface as well as draws REEs using its dense sodium carboxylate groups into the NPZIF-8 nanocrystal lattice with high specific surface *** CSCFs exhibit significantly higher maximum adsorption capacities(468.60 and 435.13 mg·g-1)and kinetic rate constants(2.02 and 1.92 min-1)for the Nd3+and Dy3+REEs than those of previously reported REE ***,the simple application of the CSCFs to an adsorption reactor considerably mitigates the adsorbent-shape-induced pressure drop,thereby directly influencing the energy efficiency of the ***,the high REE-recovery ability,tractability,and recyclability of the CSCFs offers a pragmatic pathway to achieving cost-effective REE ***,this study provides new insights into designing synergistically performing core/shell architectures for feasible REE recovery.

Developing efficient separation materials for recovering metal resources from aqueous environments is crucial for the sustainable water–food–energy nexus,which addresses the interdependence between energy production,water production,and energy *** material-based separation processes have demonstrated outstanding ***,electric energy and chemicals are used to frequently replace the separation materials used in such processes owing to their short life *** study presents a methodology for designing the self-regenerable fiber(SRF)according to the types of metals through a self-regeneration *** SRF can semi-permanently recover the metal resources from water through a repetitive adsorption–crystallization–detachment process of metal ions on its *** ionic metal resources are adsorbed and crystallized with the counter-anions on the SRF ***,the metal crystals are self-detached from the SRF surface by the collision between the crystals and curvature and non-sticky surface of the ***,a module containing the SRF maintains its metal recovery capability even during continuous injection of the metal solution without its *** findings highlight the significance of interfacial engineering and further guide the rational design of energy/environmentally friendly resource recovery modules.
