Theories of indirect chiral coupling and proposal of Fabry-Perot resonance as a flexible chiral-coupling interface

The chiral coupling of an emitter to waveguide mode, i.e., the propagation direction of the excited waveguide mode is locked to the transverse spin(T-spin) of a circularly polarized emitter, has exhibited unprecedented applications in nanophotonics and quantum information processing. This chiral coupling can be largely enhanced in terms of unidirectivity, efficiency, and spontaneous emission rate by introducing resonant modes as coupling interfaces. However, this indirect chiral coupling still undergoes limitations in flexibility and miniaturization, and the underlying physical mechanisms are to be clarified. Here, we present an intuitive and rigorous approach for analyzing the direct/indirect chiral coupling, and thereout, derive some general relations between the chiralcoupling directionality and the T-spin of the field or emitter. Based on the theories, we propose an indirect chiral-coupling system on the platform of surface plasmon polariton(SPP), with a nanocavity supporting Fabry–Perot(FP) resonance of dual SPP modes serving as a novel coupling interface. The FP resonance provides flexible design freedoms which can modulate the chirality of the T-spin(and the resultant chiral-coupling directionality) to flip or disappear. A unidirectivity up to 99.9% along with a high coupling efficiency and enhancement of spontaneous emission rate is achieved. Two first-principles-based SPP models for the reciprocal and original problems are built up to verify the decisive role of the FP resonance in achieving the chiral *** proposed theories and novel chiral-coupling interface will be beneficial to the design of more compact and flexible chiral-coupling systems for diverse applications.

本文基于热管反应堆多物理场耦合分析框架,提出了一种基于数据驱动型神经网络构建的快速预测方案。该方案利用神经网络部分代替分析框架中的数值计算模块,实现核-热-力多物理场耦合迭代过程的高效求解。以Megapower作为分析对象,搭建了相应的神经网络模型构建快速预测方案并对其进行相关参数的预测,与传统数值计算方法对比。快速预测产生的关键参数和数值计算的结果差异很小,其中,最大应力差值不超过2 MPa,燃料平均温度差值不超过3 K。相同计算环境中,相比于数值计算需要6 h的计算时间,快速预测仅需4 min,计算时间降低了95%以上。基于上述结果,认为基于神经网络的快速预测方案具有准确性高、速度快的特点。配合其灵活性及对训练数据量要求低、可针对性的优化模型等特点,认为基于神经网络的快速预测方案是应对堆芯优化等大规模计算需求场景的优选方案。

该文报道1例以尿量减少为主要表现的濒临溺水导致的急性肾损伤(acute kidney injury,AKI)病例。患者为37岁中年男性,因意外落水后肾功能急剧恶化,肾脏病理示急性肾小管损伤。经血液透析治疗后,尿量明显增加,肾功能、蛋白尿明显改善。濒临溺水导致的AKI缺乏典型的临床表现,容易延误诊断及治疗,对濒临溺水患者应进行随访以明确有无并发AKI。

2020年冬季—2022年冬季,采用样线法和样方法对黑龙江省凉水国家级自然保护区中黑啄木鸟(Dryocopus martius)取食生境偏好进行调查研究,结果表明:在取食微生境尺度中,黑啄木鸟取食树树种、取食树状态与对照样方具有显著差异(p<0.05),偏好在冷杉(Abies fabri,47.71%)和半枯立木(73.86%)的树木主干(86.93%)中上部(43.14%)、上部(32.03%)取食,且偏好粗壮、高大的树木;在取食样方尺度中,黑啄木鸟偏好在有林窗(92.16%)的天然林(96.73%)中取食,偏好郁闭度较低、优势乔木均高较低、优势乔木平均胸径较大、样方中活立木较少、枯立木、倒木较多和距人为干扰更近的生境中取食,与对照样方呈显著差异(p<0.05)。资源选择函数结果表明,影响黑啄木鸟取食生境偏好的关键因子是取食树树种,次关键因子是枯立木数量、优势乔木均高、取食树高度和倒木数量。

Based on a uniform linear array, a new widely linear unscented Kalman filter-based constant modulus algorithm (WL-UKF-CMA) for blind adaptive beamforming is proposed. The new algorithm is designed according to the constant modulus criterion and takes full advantage of the noncircular property of the signal of interest (SOI), significantly increasing the output signal-to interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR), enhancing the convergence speed and decreasing the steady-state misadjustment. Since it requires no known training data, the proposed algorithm saves a large amount of the available spectrum. Theoretical analysis and simulation results are presented to demonstrate its superiority over the conventional linear least mean square-based CMA (L-LMS-CMA), the conventional linear recursive least square-based CMA (L-RLS-CMA), WL-LMS-CMA, WL-RLS-CMA and L-UKF-CMA.
