Spinel metal oxides containing Mn,Co,or Fe（AB2O4,A/B=Mn/Fe/Co） are one of the most promising nonPt electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction（ORR） in alkaline ***,the low conductivity of metal oxides and the poor intrinsic activities of transition metal sites lead to unsatisfactory ORR *** this study,eutectic molten salt（EMS） treatment is employed to reconstruct the atomic arrangement of MnFe2O4electrocatalyst as a prototype for enhancing ORR *** analyses by using XAFS,soft XAS,XPS,and electrochemical methods reveal that the EMS treatment reduces the oxygen vacancies and spinel inverse in MnFe2O4effectively,which improves the electric conductivity and increases the population of more catalytically active Mn2+sites with tetrahedral ***,the enhanced Mn-O interaction after EMS treatment is conducive to the adsorption and activation of O2,which promotes the first electron transfer step（generally considered as the ratedetermining step） of the ORR *** a result,the EMS treated MnFe2O4catalyst delivers a positive shift of 40 mV in the ORR half-wave potential and a two-fold enhanced mass/specific *** work provides a convenient approach to manipulate the atomic architecture and local electronic structure of spinel oxides as ORR electrocatalysts and a comprehensive understanding of the structureperformance relationship from the molecular/atomic scale.

This study aimed to determine the prevalence and clinical features of Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy(ARVC)caused by pathogenic mutations in the Phospholamban(PLN)*** study included 170 patients who had a confrmed diagnosis of ARVC and underwent PLN genetic screening using next-generation *** fndings of this study provide valuable insights into the association between PLN mutations and ARVC,which can aid in the development of more efective diagnostic and treatment strategies for ARVC *** of the patients evaluated,six had a rare pathogenic mutation in PLN with the same p.R14del *** screening revealed that heterozygous carriers of p.R14del exhibited a defnite ARVC *** clinical studies,individuals with the p.R14del mutation experienced a similar rate of malignant arrhythmia events as those with classic desmosome *** adjusting for covariates,individuals with PLN mutations had a two point one seven times greater likelihood of experiencing transplant-related risks compared to those who did not possess PLN mutations(95%CI 1.08–6.82,p=0.035).The accumulation of left ventricular fat and fbers is a pathological marker for ARVC patients with p.R14del *** a cohort of 170 Chinese ARVC patients,three point fve percent of probands had the PLN pathogenic variant(p.R14del)and all were *** data shows that PLN-related ARVC patients are at high risk for ventricular arrhythmias and heart failure,which requires clinical diferentiation from classic ***,carrying the p.R14del mutation can be an independent prognostic risk factor in ARVC patients.

Designing microstructures and unveiling dynamic erosion mechanisms remain important challenges for Ag-based contacts. To simultaneously enhance erosion and compression resistance, an Al Co Cr Fe Ni high-entropy alloy(HEA) is introduced into Ag-based materials to fabricate novel Ag-HEA contacts with island-and skeletonrestricted microstructures. The arc erosion experimental results reveal that the skeleton-restricted HEA microstructure is the key factor in reducing the hill and crater morphologies of the contact surface, effectively delaying material transfer between the movable and stationary contacts. The molten bridge evolution and compressive deformation behavior of Ag-HEA contacts with various microstructures are investigated using molecular dynamics(MD) simulations. MD results indicate that the constraint of Ag atom diffusion in the molten pool and the involvement of HEA atoms in the molten bridge are the primary mechanisms for improving erosion resistance. The skeleton-restricted HEA microstructure reduces the total energy and structural stability of the molten bridge system and promotes its fracture and disintegration. Moreover, the synergistic effect of the twin and Lomerz–Cottrell lock structures can hinder dislocation glide, generating dispersed and small-area stacking faults in the Ag matrix and mitigating the concentration of shear strains. Thus, the skeleton-restricted HEA microstructure contributes positively to compression resistance. This study presents a novel approach to designing Ag-based contacts.

Ultrasonic-vibration-assisted milling(UVAM)is an advanced method for the efficient and precise machining of difficult-to-machine materials in modern ***,the milling efficiency is limited because the ultrasonic vibration toolholder ER16 collet has a critical cutting ***,a 2D UVAM platform is built to ensure precision machining efficiency and improve the surface quality without changing the milling *** evaluate this 2D UVAM platform,ultrasonic-vibration-assisted high-speed dry milling(UVAHSDM)is performed to process a titanium alloy(Ti-6Al-4V)on the platform,and the milling temperature,surface roughness,and residual stresses are selected as the important indicators for performance *** results show that the intermittent cutting mechanism of UVAHSDM combined with the specific spindle speed,feed speed,and vibration amplitude can reduce the milling temperature and improve the texture of the machined *** with conventional milling,UVAHSDM reduces surface roughness and peak-groove surface profile values and extends the range of residual surface compressive stresses from−413.96 MPa to−600.18 *** excellent processing performance demonstrates the feasibility and validity of applying this 2D UVAM platform for investigating surface quality achieved under UVAHSDM.

Background: Biliary mucinous cystic neoplasms(BMCNs) are rare hepatobiliary cystic tumors, which can be divided into noninvasive and invasive types. This study aimed to investigate the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of BMCNs in a large single center. Methods: We analyzed 49 patients with BMCNs confirmed by postoperative pathology at the First Afflliated Hospital, zhejiang University School of Medicine between January 2007 and December 2021. Results: Among the 49 patients, 37 were female(75.5%), and the average age was 57.04 years. Common symptoms included abdominal discomfort, jaundice and fever, while 22 patients(44.9%) had no symptoms. Serum carbohydrate antigen(CA) 19-9 and CA125 concentrations were elevated in 34.8% and 19.6% of patients, respectively. Forty-eight patients had tumors in the intrahepatic bile ducts and only one had a tumor in the extrahepatic bile duct. Forty-eight patients with noninvasive intrahepatic BMCNs were further analyzed in terms of pathological features: 34(70.8%) had low-grade intraepithelial neoplasms(LGINs), and 14(29.2%) had high-grade intraepithelial neoplasms(HGINs). The potential immunohistochemical markers of BMCNs were cytokeratin(CK) 19, CK7, estrogen receptor and progesterone receptor. Follow-up data for 37 patients with intrahepatic BMCNs were obtained. The median overall survival(OS) of BMCNs was not reached. The longest survival time was 137 *** 5-and 10-year OS rates were 100% and 85.4%, respectively. The 5-and 10-year recurrence-free survival(RFS) rates were 93.9% and 80.2%, respectively. Conclusions: BMCNs are rare cystic neoplasms that commonly occur in middle-aged females. BMCNs can only be diagnosed and classified by postoperative pathology, as there are no specific clinical presentations, serological indicators or imaging modalities for preoperative diagnosis. Complete surgical resection is necessary for BMCNs, and the postoperative prognosis is favorable.
