Recent evidence exists that glucose transporter 3（GLUT3） plays an important role in the energy metabolism in the *** previous studies have been conducted using focal or hypoxic ischemia models and have focused on changes in GLUT3 expression based on protein and m RNA levels rather than tissue *** the present study,we observed change in GLUT3 immunoreactivity in the adult gerbil hippocampus at various time points after 5 minutes of transient forebrain *** the sham-operated group,GLUT3 immunoreactivity in the hippocampal CA1 region was weak,in the pyramidal cells of the CA1 region increased in a time-dependent fashion 24 hours after ischemia,and in the hippocampal CA1 region decreased significantly between 2 and 5 days after ischemia,with high level of GLUT3 immunoreactivity observed in the CA1 region 10 days after *** a double immunofluorescence study using GLUT3 and glial-fibrillary acidic protein（GFAP）,we observed strong GLUT3 immunoreactivity in the ***3 immunoreactivity increased after ischemia and peaked 7 days in the dentate gyrus after ischemia/*** a double immunofluorescence study using GLUT3 and doublecortin（DCX）,we observed low level of GLUT3 immunoreactivity in the differentiated neuroblasts of the subgranular zone of the dentate gyrus after ***3 immunoreactivity in the sham-operated group was mainly detected in the subgranular zone of the dentate *** results suggest that the increase in GLUT3 immunoreactivity may be a compensatory mechanism to modulate glucose level in the hippocampal CA1 region and to promote adult neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus.

This paper proposes the multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)detection scheme by using the deep neural network(DNN)based ensemble machine learning for higher error performance in wireless communication *** the MIMO detection based on the ensemble machine learning,all learning models for the DNN are generated in offline and the detection is performed in online by using already learned *** the offline learning,the received signals and channel coefficients are set to input data,and the labels which correspond to transmit symbols are set to output *** the online learning,the perfectly learned models are used for signal detection where the models have fixed bias and *** performance improvement,the proposed scheme uses the majority vote and the maximum probability as the methods of the model combinations for obtaining diversity gains at the MIMO *** simulation results show that the proposed scheme has improved symbol error rate(SER)performance without additional receive antennas.

The cation channel of sperm （CatSper） protein family plays important roles in male reproduction and infertility. The four members of this family are expressed exclusively in the testis and are localized differently in sperm. To investigate the effects of Panax ginseng treatment on the expression of CatSper genes and sperm hyperactivation in male mice, sperm motility and CatSper gene expression were assessed using a computer-assisted semen analysis system, a Fluoroskan Ascent microplate fluorometer to assess Ca2＊ influx, *** polymerase chain reaction, Western blotting and immunofluorescence. The results suggested that the Ca2＊ levels of sperm cells treated with P. ginseng were increased significantly compared with the normal group. The P. ginseng-treated groups showed increased sperm motility parameters, such as the curvilinear velocity and amplitude of lateral head displacement. Taken together, the data suggest that CatSper messenger ribonucleic acid levels were increased significantly in mouse testes in the P. ginseng-treated group, as was the protein level, with the exception of CatSper2. In conclusion, P. ginseng plays an important role in improving sperm hyperactivation via CatSper gene expression.

Among the regression-based algorithms for deriving SST from satellite measurements, regionally optimized algorithms normally perform better than the corresponding global algorithm. In this paper, three algorithms are considered for SST retrieval over the East Asia region （15°-55°N, 105°-170°E）, including the multi-channel algorithm （MCSST）, the quadratic algorithm （QSST）, and the Pathfinder algorithm （PFSST）. All algorithms are derived and validated using collocated buoy and Geostationary Meteorological Satellite （GMS-5） observations from 1997 to 2001. An important part of the derivation and validation of the algorithms is the quality control procedure for the buoy SST data and an improved cloud screening method for the satellite brightness temperature measurements. The regionally optimized MCSST algorithm shows an overall improvement over the global algorithm, removing the bias of about -0.13℃ and reducing the root-mean-square difference （rmsd） from 1.36℃ to 1.26℃. The QSST is only slightly better than the MCSST. For both algorithms, a seasonal dependence of the remaining error statistics is still evident. The Pathfinder approach for deriving a season-specific set of coefficients, one for August to October and one for the rest of the year, provides the smallest rmsd overall that is also stable over time.

BACKGROUND Hemothorax is a rare but life-threatening complication of central venous *** reports suggest that ultrasound guidance may reduce complications however,it does not guarantee safety CASE SUMMARY A 75-year-old male patient was admitted for laparoscopic radical *** ultrasound guidance,right internal jugular vein catheterization was successfully achieved after failure to aspirate blood from the catheter in the first *** hypotension developed after surgical positioning and persisted until the end of the operation,lasting for about 4 *** the recovery room,a massive hemothorax was identified on chest radiography and computed *** patient recovered following chest tube drainage of 1.6 L *** Hemothorax must be suspected when unexplained hemodynamic instability develops after central venous catheterization despite ultrasound *** the proper use of ultrasound is important.

Laser assisted turning （LAT） is one of the advanced machining technologies, which uses laser power to heat the surface of a workpiece before the material is removed. It has several advantages of low manufacturing costs, high productivity and high qualities to machine difficult-to-cut materials such as silicon nitride, muUite, zirconia and Ni. A large part of studies on LAT have been focused on a round bar. With increasing demands for high quality products and high performance engineering system, the researches on LAT for clover and square section members are necessary. But, these workpieces are impossible to be machined on conventional CNC lathe and to generate NC code with current CAM softwares. As a basic research for combining LAT with a tilting index table type 5-axis machining center, i.e. laser assisted turn-mill, a new method is suggested to generate NC code that can process various types of clover and square section members through development of C＋＋ program.
