Gas irradiation in research nuclear reactors is an important way to produce radionuclides. Although some nuclear reactors centers offer this type of service, there are few pub.ications ab.ut capsules to irradiation of gaseous samples. This paper describ.s a method to fab.icate and evaluate aluminum capsules to irradiate gaseous samples in nuclear reactor. A semi-circular slotted die from a hydraulic presshead was modified to seal aluminum tub.s. The aluminum capsules were sub.ected to leak detection tests, which demonstrated the accordance with standard ISO 9978.

b.CKGROUND Over-the-scope clip-assisted endoscopic full thickness resection(eFTR) of sub.pithelial tumors is a novel and promising endoscopic technique. Recently,there have b.en prospective studies investigating its use for colonic masses, b.t data regarding its use and efficacy in the duodenum are limited to a few *** SUMMARY A 65-year-old African American female presents for evaluation of persistent gastroesophageal reflux disease not responsive to medical treatment. A 1 cm nodule was incidentally found in the duodenum and b.opsies revealed a low grade well differentiated neuroendocrine tumor. The nodule was removed using over-the-scope clip-assisted eFTR and pathology revealed clear margins. We review the availab.e literature with a discussion on the efficacy and safety of clipassisted eFTR s of sub.pithelial lesions in the *** Clip assisted eFTR appears to b. a safe and efficacious treatment approach to duodenal sub.pithelial lesions. Further prospective studies are needed to investigate the long-term utility and safety of clip-assisted eFTR in the management of sub.pithelial duodenal lesions.

Epidemiology and antib.otic resistance of b.cterial meningitis in Dapaong,northern Togo

Ob.ective:To assess the seasonality of the b.cterial meningitis and the antib.otic resistance of incriminated b.cteria over the last three years in the northern ***:From January 2007 to January 2010,533 cereb.ospinal fluids(CSF) samples were collected from patients suspected of meningitis in the Regional Hospital of Dapaong(northern Togo).After microscopic examination,samples were cultured for b.cterial identification and antib.otic susceptib.lity. Results:The study included 533 patients(306 male and 227 female) aged from 1 day to 55 years [average age(13.00±2.07) years].b.cterial isolation and identification were attempted for 254/533 (47.65%) *** b.cteria]species identified were:Neisseria meningitidis A(*** A)(58.27%),Neisseria meningitidis W135(N,meningitidis W135)(7.09%),Streptococcus pneumoniae(***)(26.77%),Haemophilus influenza b.*** b.(6.30%) and Enterob.cteriaceae(1.57%).The results indicated that b.cterial meningitis occur from Novemb.r to May with a peak in Feb.uary for *** and *** and March for Neisseriaceae. The distrib.tion of positive CSF with regards to the age showed that sub.ects b.tween 6 and 12 years followed b. sub.ects of 0 to 5 years were most affected with respective frequencies of 67.82%and 56.52%(Pb.lity tests revealed that b.cteria have developed resistance to several antib.otics including aminosides(resistance rate>20%for b.th b.cterial strains),macrolides(resistance rate>30%for ***) quinolones(resistance rate>15% for *** and *** W135).Over three years,the prevalence of *** significantly increased from 8.48%to 73.33%(Pb.were not statistically significant:4.24%,vs.8.89%,(P= 0.233).Conclusions: Our results indicate that data in African countries differ depending on geographical location in relation to the African meningitis *** underlines the impo

Neuroplasticity in Spinal Trauma: A Current Narrative Review of Treatments

Neuroplasticity is a condition that is present from b.rth, b.ing found in the central and peripheral nervous system, in b.th physiological and pathological terms. b.sed on the findings, therapeutic and non-therapeutic attempts were tested on spinal cord trauma to recover locomotor function b.low the level of the injury. The work defined and showed other forms of the term neuroplasticity, talk ab.ut some pathological and non-pathological conditions, and, finally, show neuroplasticity and some of its treatments in the spinal cord injury process. A narrative literature review from 2000 to 2020 of the Pub.ed platform was conducted and analysis of two b.oks for the elab.ration of this work. Animal/human studies were included that addressed pathologies, forms of treatment for spinal trauma, and qualis from b. to A1. Pre-2000 articles, which addressed neuroplasticity only to understand the molecular mechanisms and articles that were not in English, were excluded. As a result, the main molecules and structures that inhib.t neuroplasticity were found, and, b.sed on their knowledge, forms of treatments were developed to inhib.t these molecules and structures to assist in neuroplasticity and assist in possib.e functional recovery. It can b. concluded that the physiological b.rriers are already b.ing overcome b. the most recent forms of treatment and that soon new studies may propose a form of treatment that is protocoled for all patients.

＜正＞Techniques traditionally used in the study of the existence of solutions of nonlinear differential equations has recently b.en used to solve prob.ems of control, state estimation and parameter identification of nonlinear systems. These techniques often require some topological adjustments of either the space of admissib.e input functions U （the control space） or the state space X of the system which b.came possib.e with the use of matched sets introduced b. the author in [1,2]. The present work places its emphasis on how the matched sets can b. used to adjust the spaces U and X for the prob.em of nonlinear control as formulated b.low. A summary of the theory of complete matched sets is also shown. Moreover, the semigroup approach is used so that the distrib.ted parameter systems and delay systems can b. considered as well as lumped parameter systems.
