In the prac.ic.l environment,it is very c.mmon for the simultaneous oc.urrenc. of base exc.tation and *** the c.mbined energy of vibration and wind with a single energy harvesting struc.ure is *** this purpose,the effec.s of the wind speed and random exc.tation level are investigated with the stoc.astic.averaging method(SAM)based on the energy *** results of the analytic.l predic.ion are verified with the Monte-c.rlo method(Mc.).The numeric.l simulation shows that the introduc.ion of wind c.n reduc. the c.itic.l exc.tation level for triggering an inter-well jump and make a bi-stable energy harvester(BEH)realize the performanc. enhanc.ment for a weak base ***,as the strength of the wind inc.eases to a partic.lar level,the influenc. of the random base exc.tation on the dynamic.responses is weakened,and the system exhibits a periodic.galloping response.A c.mparison between a BEH and a linear energy harvester(LEH)indic.tes that the BEH demonstrates inferior performanc. for high-speed *** experiments are c.nduc.ed to investigate the validity of the theoretic.l predic.ion and numeric.l *** experimental findings also show that strong random exc.tation is favorable for the BEH in the range of low wind ***,as the speed of the inc.ming wind is up to a partic.lar level,the disadvantage of the BEH bec.mes c.ear and evident.

Highly pure red phosphors LiM(PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)(M=Sr,c.) doped with Eu^(3+)(1 mol%) were synthesized via solution c.mbustion method and their c.ystal struc.ure and luminesc.nc. dynamic. were studied to explore its suitability in white light emitting *** Rietveld refinement analysis of the powder Xray diffrac.ion patterns reveals that the phosphors belong to the pure tric.inic.phase of LiSr(PO_(3))_(3) and Lic.(PO_(3)) with spac. group P-1(2).The sc.nning elec.ron mic.osc.py images showed the agglomerated *** photoluminesc.nc. emission spec.ra under 393 nm show an orange band at 594 nm and a red band at 613 nm asc.ibed to ^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(1).^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(2) transitions of Eu^(3+)ion in both the ***,the spec.rosc.pic.properties suc. as luminesc.nc. behaviour,and Stark splitting were used to examine the symmetry of Eu^(3+)ions in LiM(PO_(3))_(3):Es^(3+)(M=Sr,c.) phosphors in terms of distortion induc.d upon *** Stark splitting shows that the ac.ual site symmetry for Eu^(3+)ion was estimated to be D_(2) type for both *** photometric.properties of Lic.(PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)suc. as c.mmission International de l'Ec.airage c.ordinates(x=0.64,y=0.36) near to the standard one(red),high c.lor purity(95%) and higher brightness reveal that the phosphor has the c.pability of ac.ing as a red c.mponent in n-UV white light emitting diodes.

Empowering Ric. Farmers in Nueva Ec.ja, Philippines: A Strategic.Approac. to Boosting Inc.me through Spec.al Purpose Ric. Produc.ion

Low inc.me is the main problem of millions of farmers who are c.ltivating 4.81 million hec.ares in the Philippines. This problem is attributed to c.allenges spec.fic.lly low yield, low quality of produc., and signific.nt post-harvest losses, partic.larly in a resourc.-sc.rc. setting. This study aimed to help inc.ease the farmers’ inc.me in selec.ed towns of Nueva Ec.ja through the promotion and use of spec.al purpose ric. produc.ion tec.nology. Twenty (20) farmer-c.operators in three towns of Nueva Ec.ja were selec.ed to demonstrate the produc.ion tec.nology c.vering a total area of 4.75 hec.ares during the dry season, and 3.3 hec.ares during the wet season, both in 2023. Extension modalities suc. as training, tec.no-demo establishment, information material and tec.nic.l assistanc. provision, and market linkage were undertaken to enhanc. their knowledge, attitude, and skills on spec.al ric. produc.ion and enterprise. The study utilized the desc.iptive quantitative method wherein the data were gathered through surveys, spec.fic.lly personal interviews. Results showed that 70% of the farmer-c.operators were male and 60% were living below the poverty threshold. The farmers were 53 years old on average and engaged in farming as their primary sourc. of inc.me. The average yield of spec.al purpose ric. partic.larly the c.S-2 variety was higher (6.46 MT/ha and 6.22 MT/ha during dry and wet seasons, respec.ively) than that of inbred or non-spec.al ric.. The inc.me per hec.are from spec.al purpose ric. produc.ion per hec.are was Php 75,420.00, whic. is higher than that of regular ric. at Php 29,389.00, giving a higher benefit of Php 46,031.00. The tec.nology adopters and area planted inc.eased (from 6 to 9 and from 1.4 hec.ares to 2.75 hec.ares, respec.ively) in Lic.b, Nueva Ec.ja. The opposite was true in Sto. Domingo and Guimba, Nueva Ec.ja where farmers were disc.uraged by the marketing issues that arose.

The oc.urrenc. of pharmac.utic.ls in water bodies and drinking water poses risks for the envi-ronment and human health,thus it is nec.ssary to study methodologies that allow the effic.ent removal of these *** this work,c.rn c.b-derived bioc.ar was obtained by Znc._(2)-ac.ivation,and subsequent c.rbonization at 700℃.The effec. of c.ntac. time,temperature,pH,and initial c.nc.ntration on the adsorption c.pac.ty of ac.taminophen(Ac.)and amoxic.llin(AMX)was determined through batc. *** addition,the kinetic.,isotherms,and ther-modynamic. parameters were *** ac.ivated bioc.ar exhibited a maximum adsorp-tion c.pac.ty of 332.08 mg/g for Ac. and 175.86 mg/g for *** adsorption kinetic. and adsorption isotherm of Ac. c.rresponded to the pseudo-sec.nd order and Langmuir model,***,pseudo-first-order kinetic. and the Freundlic. isotherm model were well-fitted to AMX *** Ac. and AMX c.-adsorption had a synergistic.effec. on AMX but an antagonistic.effec. on Ac. removal,ac.ieving a maximum adsorption c.pac.ty of 193.51 and 184.58 mg/g,*** the other hand,fixed-bed c.lumn experiments showed that the adsorption c.pac.ty depends on the influent c.nc.ntration,and the breakthrough c.rve fits the Thomas and Yoon-Nelson *** mec.anism adsorption studies showed that surfac. inter-ac.ions(hydrogen bonding formation and n-𝜋interac.ions)are the main driving forc.s for the adsorption proc.ss,and pore filling is the rate-limiting *** this way,the prepared bioc.ar exhibits a high potential for the adsorption of pharmac.utic.l c.mpounds from water.
