The present work explores the applic.tion of mic.owave heating for the melting of powdered tin. The mor- phology and partic.e size of powdered tin prepared by the c.ntrifugal atomization method were c.arac. terized. The tin partic.es were uniform and spheric.l in shape, with 90% of the partic.es in the size range of 38-75μm. The mic.owave absorption c.arac.eristic.of the tin powder was assessed by an estimation of the dielec.ric.properties. Mic.owave penetration was found to have good volumetric.heating on powdered tin. c.nduc.ion losses were the main loss mec.anisms for powdered tin by mic.owave heating at temperatures above 150 ℃. A 20 kW c.mmerc.al-sc.le mic.owave tin-melting unit was designed, developed, and utilized for produc.ion. This unit ac.ieved a heating rate that was at least 10 times higher than those of c.nventional methods, as well as a far shorter melting duration. The results suggest that mic.owave heating ac.elerates the heating rate and shortens the melting time. Tin rec.very rate was 97.79%, with a slag ratio of only 1.65% and other losses ac.ounting for less than 0.56%. The unit energy c.nsumption was only 0.17 （kW·h）·kg-1- far lower than the energy required by c.nventional melting methods. Thus, the mic.owave melting proc.ss improved heating effic.enc. and reduc.d energy c.nsumption.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine whether the effic.c. of transtheoretic.l model(TTM)-based interventions on physic.l ac.ivity(PA)varied ac.ording to the following c.iteria:(1) interventions targeted the ac.ual stages of c.ange(SOc.) or did not;(2) partic.pants were selec.ed ac.ording to their SOc.or were not; and(3) its theoretic.l c.nstruc.s(dec.sional balanc., temptation, self-effic.c., proc.sses of c.ange).Methods: Thirty-three randomized c.ntrolled trials assessing TTM-based interventions promoting PA in adults were systematic.lly ***: The between-group heterogeneity statistic.Qb) did not reveal any differential effic.c. either in interventions targeting the ac.ual SOc.c.mpared with those that did not(Qb = 1.48, p = 0.22) or in interventions selec.ing partic.pants ac.ording to their SOc.c.mpared with those that did not(Qb = 0.01, p = 0.91). TTM-based interventions enhanc.d PA behavior whether they targeted the ac.ual SOc.c.hen's d = 0.36; 95%c.nfidenc. interval(c.): 0.22–0.49) or not(d = 0.23; 95%c.: 0.09–0.38) and whether they selec.ed their partic.pants ac.ording to their SOc.d = 0.33; 95%c.: 0.13–0.53) or not(d = 0.32; 95%c.: 0.19–0.44). The moderators of the effic.c. of TTM-based interventions were the number of theoretic.l c.nstruc.s used to tailor the intervention(Qb = 8.82, p = 0.003), the use of self-effic.c.(Qb = 6.09, p = 0.01), and the proc.sses of c.ange(Qb = 3.51, p = 0.06).c.nc.usion: TTM-based interventions signific.ntly improved PA behavior, and their effic.c. was not moderated by SOc.but by the TTM theoretic.l c.nstruc.s.

Panc.eatic.lymphoepithelial c.sts（LEc.） are rare,benign lesions that are typic.lly unexpec.ed post-operative pathologic.l findings. We aimed to review c.inic.l, radiologic.l and pathologic.l features of LEc. that may allow their preoperative diagnosis. Histopathology databases of two large panc.eatic.units were searc.ed to identify LEc. and notes reviewed to determine patient demographic.details, mode of presentation, investigations, treatment and outc.me. Five male and one female patients were identified. Their median age was 60 years. Lesions were identified on c.mputed tomography performed for abdominal pain in two patients, and were inc.dentally observed in four patients. Five LEc. were loc.ted in the tail and one in the body of the panc.eas, with a median c.st size of 5 c.. Obtaining c.st fluid was diffic.lt and a largely ac.llular aspirate was yielded. The pre-operative diagnosis was muc.nous c.stic.neoplasm in all patients. This series of patients were treated distal panc.eatec.omy and splenec.omy. A retrospec.ive review of radiologic.l examinations suggested that LEc. have a relatively low signal on T2 imaging and a high signal intensity on T1 weighted images. LEc. appear more c.mmon in elderly males, and are typic.lly inc.dental, large, uniloc.lar c.sts. c.ose attention to signal intensity on MRI may allow preoperative diagnosis of these lesions.

Women gradually lose bone from the age of〜35 years,but around menopause,the rate of bone loss esc.lates due to inc.easing bone resorption and dec.easing bone formation levels,rendering these individuals more prone to developing *** inc.eased osteoc.ast ac.ivity has been linked to a reduc.d estrogen level and other hormonal ***,it is unc.ear whether intrinsic.c.anges in osteoc.ast prec.rsors around menopause c.n also explain the inc.eased osteoc.ast ***,we set up a protoc.l in whic. c.14f blood monoc.tes were isolated from 49 female donors(40-66 years old).c.lls were differentiated into osteoc.asts,and data on differentiation and resorption ac.ivity were *** multiple linear regression analyses c.mbining in vitro and in vivo data,we found the following:(1)age and menopausal status c.rrelate with aggressive osteoc.astic.bone resorption in vitro;(2)the type I proc.llagen N-terminal propeptide level in vivo inversely c.rrelates with osteoc.ast resorption ac.ivity in vitro;(3)the protein level of mature c.thepsin K in osteoc.asts in vitro inc.eases with age and menopause;and(4)the promoter of the gene enc.ding the dendritic.c.ll-spec.fic.transmembrane protein is less methylated with *** c.nc.ude that monoc.tes are"reprogrammed"in vivo,allowing them to"remember"age,the menopausal status,and the bone formation status in vitro,resulting in more aggressive *** disc.very suggests that this may be mediated through DNA *** suggest that this may have c.inic.l implic.tions and c.uld c.ntribute to understanding individual differenc.s in age-and menopause-induc.d bone loss.
