The.Baka, a group of fore.t-dwe.ling pe.ple. hold knowle.ge.on how wild plants can be.e.fe.tive.in tre.ting many illne.se.. Howe.e., the.gre.te.t challe.ge.for the.ide.tification of traditional me.icine. de.e.ds on the.ve.acity of the.information provide. during e.hnobotanic surve.s by use. populations. The.pre.e.t study de.cribe. fore.t plants use. by the.Baka and confirme. by the. as be.ng e.ploye. for traditional me.icine. We.carrie. out e.hnobotanical surve.s be.we.n 2019 and 2021 in 221 house.olds within four districts of the.e.ste.n and Southe.n Re.ion of Came.oon. We.use. indice. of significant use.and pe.formance.applie. to all me.tione. spe.ie., alongside.se.rche. in the.lite.ature. The.statistical tools use. to distinguish the.diffe.e.t groups/districts is Pe.rson’s X2 te.t. A total of 378 plant spe.ie. we.e.ide.tifie. of 270 ge.e.a and 85 familie.. e.hnobotanical indice. allowe. to ide.tify the.most confirme. and e.ficie.t plants for se.e.al he.lth proble.s. A pairwise.comparison of the.e.indice. showe. a significant corre.ation with a p-value.e.16 and a dissimilarity distance.le.s than 0.5. Some.plants se.e.te. are.wide.y cite. in othe. re.ions and/or countrie. for the.same.he.lth proble.s. The.pre.e.ce.of active.mole.ule. re.ponsible.for the.r biological activity was also prove., justifying the.r use.in traditional me.icine. BACKGROUND Fe.al microbiota transplantation(FMT)is a promising the.ape.tic approach for tre.ting Crohn’s dise.se.CD).The.ne. me.hod of FMT,base. on the.automatic washing proce.s,was name. as washe. microbiota transplantation(WMT).Most e.isting studie. have.focuse. on obse.ving the.clinical ***,the.me.hanism of action of FMT for the.e.fe.tive.manage.e.t of CD-particularly in-de.th multi-omics analysis involving the.me.age.ome.me.atranscriptome.and me.abolome.has not ye. be.n *** To asse.s the.e.ficacy of WMT for CD and e.plore.alte.ations in the.microbiome.and me.abolome.in re.ponse.to *** We.conducte. a prospe.tive.ope.-labe.,single.ce.te. clinical *** CD patie.ts unde.we.t *** clinical re.ponse.(de.ine. as a de.re.se.in the.r CD Activity Inde. score.of>100 points)and the.r microbiome.me.age.ome.me.atranscriptome.and me.abolome.profile. we.e.e.aluate. thre. months afte. the.*** Se.e. of the.11 patie.ts(63.6%)showe. an optimal clinical re.ponse.thre. months *** microbiome.dive.sity significantly incre.se. afte.
