Interpreting a myocardial inflammation as causal,contributory or as of no significance at all in the cause of death can be challenging,especially in cases where other pathologic and/or medico-legal findings are also *** further evaluate the significance of myocardial inflammation as a cause of death we performed a retrospective cohort study of forensic and clinical autopsy *** revised the spectrum of histological inflammatory parameters in the myocardium of 79 adult autopsy cases and related these to the reported cause of *** slides were reviewed for the distribution and intensity of inflammatory cell infiltrations,the predominant inflammatory cell type,and the presence of inflammation-associated myocyte injury,fibrosis,edema and ***,the cases were divided over three groups,based on the reported cause of *** 1(n=27)consisted of all individuals with an obvious unnatural cause of *** 2(n=29)included all individuals in which myocarditis was interpreted to be one out of more possible causes of *** 3(n=23)consisted of all individuals in which myocarditis was reported to be the only significant finding at autopsy,and no other cause of death was *** application of our histological parameters showed that only a diffuse increase of inflammatory cells could discriminate between an incidental presence of inflammation(Group 1)or a potentially significant one(Groups 2 and 3).No other histological parameter showed significant differences between the *** results suggest that generally used histological parameters are often insufficient to differentiate an incidental myocarditis from a(potentially)significant one.

Traumatic injury or inflammatory irritation of the peripheral nervous system often leads to persistent pathophysiological pain *** has been well-documented that,after peripheral nerve injury or inflammation,functional and anatomical alterations sweep over the entire peripheral nervous system including the peripheral nerve endings,the injured or inflamed afferent fibers,the dorsal root ganglion(DRG),and the central afferent terminals in the spinal *** all the changes,ectopic discharge or spontaneous activity of primary sensory neurons is of great clinical interest,as such discharges doubtless contribute to the develop-ment of pathological pain states such as neuropathic *** key sources of abnormal spontaneous activity have been identified following peripheral nerve injury:the injured afferent fibers(neuroma) leading to the DRG,and the DRG *** purpose of this review is to provide a global account of the abnormal spontaneous activity in various animal models of *** attention is focused on the consequence of peripheral nerve injury and localized ***,mechanisms involved in the generation of spontaneous activity are also reviewed;evidence of spontaneous activity in contributing to abnormal sympathetic sprouting in the axotomized DRG and to the initiation of neuropathic pain based on new findings from our research group are *** improved understanding of the causes of spontaneous activity and the origins of neuropathic pain should facilitate the development of novel strategies for effective treatment of pathological pain.

Real-world fuel-based emission factors （eFs） from Caterpillar 797B diesel heavy haulers when used for oil sands mining operations were measured using an on-hoard portable emissions monitoring system. Average eFs （in g/kg fuel） for 16 separate tests on four trucks were 3150 ± 4 for CO2, 2.51 ± 1.30 for CH4, 10.28 ± 3.21 for CO, 0.61 ± 0.32 for non-methane hydrocarbons, 55.49 ± 9,75 for NOx （reported as NO2）, 0.70 ± 0.17 for PM2.s （mass of particles with aerodynamic diameter 〈2.5 μm）, and 0.34 ± 0.05 for black carbon （BC）. Ultrafine particle numbers averaged （4.7 ± 4.1 ） × 10^15 particleslkg fuel. Fuel-based eFs of NO, NO2, and particle numbers were higher during idling, whereas PM2.5 and BC eFs were higher during traveling without a load. A comparison of emissions with those reported by oil sands facilities showed large variations, both among the facilities and between the reported emissions and the real-world measurements.

Hard coatings are used to improve the wear resistance of metals which largely depends on adhesion between substrate and *** wear and friction behavior of uncoated and TiCN-coated D2,M2 and M4 steels were evaluated by apin-on-disk test under lubricated *** order to evaluate the influence of lubricant on wear performance,dry friction tests were also *** results showed that friction coefficients were very similar for both uncoated and TiCN-coated *** lubricated conditions,the uncoated D2 tool steel exhibited the lowest friction coefficient,but the TiCN-coated D2 steel presented the smallest wear *** was the main wear mechanism in all the ***,microhardness measurements were carried out,finding an influence of the steel substrate on the hardness of the ***,adhesion test was conducted,suggesting agood adhesion of class 1 between substrates and TiCN coatings.

机动车辆在提供多重优势的同时,也引发了交通拥堵、碳排放增加以及久坐不动等不利后果,因此学者和研究人员正倡导促进步行出行,作为对被普遍依赖的机动交通的可行和必要替代方案,从而培育更可持续和环保的出行方式。多明尼加共和国圣多明各的中央商务区(俗称中央多边形地区)具有关键的城市区位,也是城市重要的经济活动纽带和主要交通节点,但由于其建设过程中规划标准和管控的缺失,导致行人步行网络等基础设施存在很多问题。由于城市中心区的大部分车流都集中在这个地区,给居民和步行者带来了诸多困扰,包括交通拥堵、街道生活质量下降以及暴露于机动车尾气排放中等。近年来,尽管地方政府出台了多项旨在优化圣多明各交通状况的举措,但其工作重点仍然聚焦在对机动交通方式的改善方面,而对步行这种对环境影响更小的交通方式考虑不足。有鉴于此,本研究的主要目标是评估中央多边形地区步行网络的现状和挑战,并提出一系列增强步行出行的策略。本研究旨在分析中央多边形地区步行网络的现状和问题。通过调查和分析现有基础设施、居民的偏好和潜在障碍,通过多因子评价和选取最具有改造和优化潜力的地区,从而营造更具步行友好的环境,促进与环境和社会的积极互动。本论文系统性梳理了步行交通规划的理论基础和学术文献,研究了国际和本地规划设计的多个案例,出发点是增强步行出行有助于城市交通的可持续性以及城市整体的可持续发展。通过文献综述,将影响步行出行的因素归类为三个领域:连通性、可达性和环境因素。案例研究则揭示了在不同城市环境中采用的多样化策略和干预措施,每个案例都提出了自己独特的挑战和解决方案。对来自新加坡、北京、巴塞罗那和纽约的国际案例研究的收集和分析,对于促进步行出行的讨论具有重要意义,其内容涵盖了政策制定和实施策略。通过深入分析,本研究包括使用Depthmap X和Arc GIS等地理数据分析工具、历史城市发展的研究、居民偏好的审查以及对道路网络的全面评估,呈现了圣多明各的步行网络概况。研究揭示,解决步行出行问题涉及到塑造城市景观的各种因素,解决这些挑战需要实施综合城市规划策略、政策改革、公私合作以及积极的社区参与。本研究的发现带来了深刻的启示和建议,为城市规划师、政策制定者和交通管理机构提供了宝贵的见解。这些建议可作为改善步行出行网络中的连接性、可达性和环境质量,推进可持续城市发展的指南。
